He softly walked towards the other side of the hallways and he saw a large courtyard with the same fountain and pool of water with absolutely beautiful flowers and with the scent of jasmine.

Maan squinted his eyes to see a girl splashing her feet in the pool water. The woman wore a lengha choli, with a blouse that revealed her flat stomach and a lengha that hung on her hips. Her duppata was folded on her covering the exposed stomach. Her hair was light brown and down her back. Her skin was absolutely fair and smooth...

He walked forward and then stood directly behind the girl, while he was still in the hallway. She was almost 20 meters away from him and she had her back to him...

Her body had the perfect curves and shape... She was very petite and short.

She turned around and to her horror she saw Maan there. She quickly draped her duppata on her head and she quickly tried to walk off...

" Rukoo!" called Maan. But the girl only ignored him... Her payal's were making sounds as she tried to run off and Maan unknowingly ran behind her. She stopped suddenly and turned around.

" Aap kaun hain?" asked the girl. Maan stopped and he looked away as he knew that he would be staring like a shameless fool...

" Khambagani" said Maan. " Khambagani... par aapne humay jawaab nahin diya" said the girl. Her voice was music to his ears... " Hum Rajkumar Maan Singh Khurana..." replied Maan.

The girl only said, " Hum Rajkumari Geetakshi hain...aur humay maaf kijye... humay yahaan nahin hona chahiye..."

Geet ran off into her chambers and Maan only looked a little weirded out.

Maan decided to shrug it off... and he quickly found his way into his chambers.

He laid down on the soft bed and made sure his own men to be standing outside his chambers to guard his chambers. Maan slowly closed his eyes and only Rajkumari Geetakshi's image was in his mind...

Her every feature and word was so clear in his mind... she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Maan only softly smiled when he thought of her face...

The only complaint was that he didn't see her eyes... Asthani and Astagari women were all attractive... but this Rajkumari seemed to out do any woman he saw... Maan had no time in his political travels to even notice the presence of women... but this woman... why had he not seen her.

Unknown desires erupted in his heart as to her eyes... he wanted to see her face completely...

" Yeh main kya soch raha hoon" thought Maan as he only tried to erase all these thoughts... he was given a responsibility and he had to fulfill it as soon as possible.


Maan woke up extra early and he went to the washbasin that was outside of his chambers... He only remembered Geet again and again... she was haunting his thoughts and encouraging unknown thoughts and desires in his heart.

He quickly was dressed and placed his turban on and walked out to see Dev already ready. " Itne savaray chote..?" asked Maan with his eyebrows raised.

Dev yawned, " Agar hum naa uthtay, to phir aap mujhe utha te..."

Maan ruffled his hair, " Clever boy..."

Dev smiled, " Im clever?"

" Not yet, but you will be" replied Maan.

Dev's smile vanished and Maan only said, " You will be better than me... I promise" Dev was proud and excited to hear something like that...

" Chalein?" asked Maan. Dev nodded and they walked into the main courtyard and Dev was walking quite fast trying to be his brother but then Maan saw small women wearing red, green, and yellow walking from the opposite side of him.

"Ruko" ordered Maan. Dev stopped dead in his tracks and Maan held him back.

The women were obviously servant girls walking but Maan squinted to see a small figure wearing a green lengha choli that was more decorated and elaborate than the other ones.

She wore special hand jewellry that only royal women wore. Her posture was straight and she walked very elegantly. He had a feeling that it was the same girl... she wore the similar hand jewellry.

" Bhai saa... are those the women of the palace?" asked Dev. Maan only nodded, " Yes they are" Dev smiled, " I hope there is one for me too"

Maan looked his little brother and narrowed his eyes, " Grow up to be a man first... then we'll see" Dev rolled his eyes, " Im 15 bhai saa..."

" 15 and still young chote... " replied Maan. Dev would not argue with his brother at all in this matter because Maan was obviously and completely right...

The women were walking the same direction and Maan alongside them with Dev. The girl in the front was not looking side to side... only forward and no heed to him at all. Maan was use to the attention he got... but this girl was not giving the attention that he secretly loved having...

They all walked into the meeting area and Ranveer was already there. Maan touched his feet and so did Dev. " Khambagani" smiled Ranveer. They all sat down around the area with cushions.

Maan sat down beside Ranveer and then he saw the same girl walking towards them with servant girls behind her. Ranveer stood up and smiled, " Humari beti..."

The girl had her ghunghat down and Maan knew somewhere in his heart that it was the same girl. " Khambagani pitta ji" said the soft voice. Ranveer placed his hand on her head softly and blessed her, " Khambagani Rajkumari Geet"

Geet smiled through her ghunghat and then Ranveer asked her to sit down with them. Geet sat in front of her father with servant girls standing behind her. " Ekaant" ordered Geet.

The servant girls left and Geet softly sat down on the cushion. Maan did not look in her direction... but he could feel her eyes looking through him. Maan had this growing curiousity to look at her...

" Yeh hai humari beti Rajkumari Geetakshi Ranveer Singh" smiled Ranveer. Geet folded her hands, " Khambagani Rajkumar" Maan only softly nodded.

Dev looked around and Geet smirked, " Kahaan dekh rahe hain aap Rajkumar?" Maan loved her soft yet sweet voice.

Dev only nervously smiiled, " Nahin hum toh yeh nazara dekh rahe hain..."

Geet laughed a little and Ranveer said, " Rajkumar, we are going to line our soldiers all around our territory and half of yours... and you are going to do the same?"

Maan nodded, " Ji, and my men are lined up in our territory and in the Hastigna desert"

Ranveer smiled, " Good... and the Kustakarni's will not be able to walk that desert at all..."

Maan nodded and he ordered the map to be brought out. " Hum wahaan par jaayenge... behind the hills we will keep more and more men with bows and arrows and swords"

Ranveer liked the strategy and he looked at his daughter who only said, " Kustakarna will expect you to do that Pitta ji" Maan looked up at her and he frowned.

" Naksha dijiye" added Geet. Ranveer gave her the map and she pointed, " The river is their hiding place... if you all raid that area, you will win"

Maan looked at it closely and then realized that she was right. " Aapko kaisay pata?" asked Maan.

" Humay bohot kuch pata hain... par aap poochte nahin hain" replied Geet.

That answer completely shut Maan up. Ranveer smirked, " My daughter is very clever..." Geet smiled at his comment and then looked Maan.

He was lost in discussing the map further with her father and she only looked him. He was probably the most handsome prince she had ever seen... His snake tatoo was visible on his large built arms...

His sandy brown skin shined in the sun and his perfect jawline was perfectly shaped... His "m" shaped lips were perfect and his light honey brown eyes were so concentrated... so deep... she could almost get lost in them.

His built body was shown so clearly... his perfect back and waist. Geet saw another tatoo by his neck which was engraved in ancient writing of the Astagari's. She could read Kustakarni, Asthani and Astagari writing... her father could only read Asthani and Astagari and her mother could read all three like herself too.

" Maan Singh Khurana..." thought Geet as she read the writing on his neck. Geet looked at the writing on her wrist which was the Kustakarni scorpion. She only looked at it with disgust...

Geet covered it with her jewellry... and her father only said, " Hum aate hain..." Maan nodded and Geet only sat there calmly still looking at him. " Aapse mil kar bohot acha laga" said Geet.

Dev smirked at Maan who had his eyes glued towards Geet. " Bhai saa" whispered Dev as to break Maan's trance. Geet giggled a little and then Ranveer came back and seated himself beside Maan.

Maan tore his gaze away from her and Ranveer discussed everything further and he said, " Humara bara beta, Arjun aaraha hain" Maan nodded, " He has written me a letter and I have replied to him Raja jii"

Ranveer smiled, " Good..."

Geet smiled even more to the mention of her brother... Rajkumar Arjun Singh. But she wondered, how come she didn't meet this Rajkumar Maan for so long... she had heard of him and his glorious battles with her brother...



It was nearing the late afternoon and Maan decided to give lessons to Dev on how to sword fight. " Hold the grip properly!" snapped Maan. " Ji..ji bhai saa" replied Dev as he gripped on the sword.

Maan instructed him to bend his knees and to get into fighting position. Dev followed his instructions and they began fighting... Dev tried to strike him but Maan only blocked him and quickly took his sword away.

Dev looked exasperated. Maan only narrowed his eyes and threw the heavy sword back to him and Dev caught it but fell back a little. Maan was in fighting position again until he heard the same payals again.

" Go over there..." ordered Maan. Dev nodded and he walked a little bit far away. " Strike me.." added Maan. Dev ran towards him and Maan quickly ducked down and rolled away, leaving Dev very frustrated.

" Don't get frustrated that easily Dev" said Maan as he got back up again.

Maan was about to instruct Dev again until he heard the same payals again. He turned around to see Rajkumari Geet standing there with a servant girl observing Maan.

He could feel her eyes burn onto his back... He was sweating and breathing very hard as he looked Geet... He could see a little bit of her smile through her duppata.

Geet walked towards him and Dev looked over and smirked. He knew to walk away..." I am over there..." called Dev. Maan didn't reply... he compeltely ignored Dev as Geet walked towards him,.

He felt like a fairy or an angel was walking towards him... She stopped in front of him and she only said, " Bohot achi talwar baazi karte hain aap..." Maan wished to lift her ghunghat and see her face.

" Dhanevaad" replied Maan as he put his sword back into its case which hang on the side of him.

"Aapka bohot suna hain..." added Geet. " Aur aapka bilkul bhi nahin" replied Maan.

Geet chuckled a little, " Then our empires would have been taken by the Kustakarni's long time ago..." Maan frowned... but then he understood.

No Raja told any other empires about their rajkumari's for safety reasons.

Maan was staring at her... he wanted her to lift her ghunghat up... and Geet only chuckled as if she cuold read his thoughts. " You would hate me if you got to know who I really was..." added Geet.

Maan narrowed his eyes, " Kyun?"

" Some things are never revealed right in the moment Rajkumar.." replied Geet. She turned around and Maan only said, " We are familiar with eachother..."

" Not too familiar Rajkumar" called Geet as she left towards her chambers. Maan let out a small smirk... this girl was definitely not the desperate type of girl. Any girl would've lifted her ghunghat for him... but she didn't.

He looked at her leave and only pulled out his sword and Dev came walkign back with his sword.

" Shuru karein Rajkumar?" called Maan. Dev knew Maan was in his sarcastic mood when he said Rajkumar to him.

Dev only nodded, " Ji bhai saa"


Geet went into her chambers and she shut the large iron doors behind her. She lifted her ghunghat off her face and only smiled. She laid on her bed thinking of her encounter with Maan... she already had a growing affection for him.

There was something about him that attracted her towards him... he was different than all the rajkumar's she had seen. This was not a cliche at all... she absolutely was stunned by this man who managed to sweep her off her feet...

She blushed at the thought of him staring at her... she loved the fact that her ghunghat was in front... it made him pine for her even more. She would let him chase her instead of her chasing him, which she was sure that every woman already did.

" Rajkumariii"called a voice. Geet got up and she saw her mother coming in with a large smile.

" Khambagani maa saa" smiled Geet. " Khambagani Geet, kaisi hain aap?" asked Rani Abha.

" Hum theek hain... par aap maa saa? humay bol diya hota... hum aajate?" replied Geet. Rani Abha sat on the bed beside her and smiled, " Koi baat nahin... "

Geet fiddled with the strands of her long brown hair and Rani Abha smirked, " Geet... kya kuch hain jo aap humay nahin bata rahi?"

Geet blushed, " Nahin maa saa"

" Jhoot mat boliye..." added Rani Abha.Geet thought about it for a second and she only stood up and fiddled with her long pearl necklace. " Aapko pata hain kay Rajkumar Maan Singh abhi yahaan par rehne aaye hain... " began Geet.

Rani Abha frowned and Geet told her about her encounter and everything about Maan. Geet spun around playfully in joy and Rani Abha's expression darkened.

And then Geet sat at her mothers feet and put her head on her mother's lap. " Humay pata nahin kay kya ho raha hain..." smiled Geet.

" Geet...aap kuch bhool rahi hain..." said Rani Abha. Geet froze and looked up at her mother's expression. " Aapne kalayi par dekh lijiye" added Rani Abha.

Geet didn't want to look at her wrist.

Rani Abha took her wrist and said, " Pariye Geet... yeh kya likha hua hain?"

Geet shuddered at reading this..." Par maa saa... you broke all ties... and then they became our rivals..."

Rani Abha looked away disgustingly, " Humay pata hain... aur aapke pitta ji ko bhi pata hain"

" Aur Rajkumar ko pata hain?" asked Geet.

" Nahin Geet... aur batayiga mat.. warna aapko pata hain kay kya ho sakta hain..." replied Rani Abha. Geet looked at her wrist and she saw the scorpion engraved clearly...

Rani Abha moved Geet's hair out of the way and she saw the lioness on her shoulder blade. Rani Abha saw it shine and Geet felt the lioness move magically and light shined off her tattoo on her shoulder blade...

Geet shuddered in pain and only said, " Kya humay koi haq nahin hain kay hum kisi se prem karein maa saa?"

Rani Abha sighed, " Geet... you have no idea what gifts you have...you can destroy or make"

A tear slipped down her eyes...

" Geet my dear, you are a half blood... " added Rani Abha.

Geet only was disgusted of her being a half blood of Asthani and Kustakarni... she was gifted with powers. She was destined to be the queen of all three tribes and the man she would marry would be the King of all three tribes, Asthani, Astagari, Kustakarni and he had a certain mark on his shoulder blade that would show up if she touched him. And that is what would determine if he was the chosen one beside her.

Geet's father knew of her powers... and that is why he hid her for so long or else the Kustakarni's would want her back.

" Hum itne bud naseeb hain maa saa..." whispered Geet.

Rani Abha stroked her daughters hair, " Geet yeh bud naseebi mat kahiye... you were sent on this earth for a reason"

Geet nodded and she said, " Humay koi haq nahin hain kay hum kisi ka jeevan kharab karein...Rajkumar Maan Singh ka bhi nahin..."

Rani Abha smiled, " You are precious Geet... and you can do so much"

Geet nodded... she had to accept her destiny.

Suddenly, Geet had a burning sensation down her back... she had felt it burn through her bones and flesh, but not do any harm to any of it. Geet closed her eyes in pain and she saw her father almost about to get killed in his chambers.

She flipped her eyes open and Rani Abha looked worried, " Geet kya hua? aap aisay..?" Suddenly, Geet's pupils turned an orangy red and she immediately got up and ran out of her room.

" Geet.. rukiye!" called Rani Abha. Geet didn't listen and Rani Abha only sent a servant girl after her.

Just then, as Geet was running out... Maan saw her run and he frowned. " Why is the rajkumari running so fast?" He curiously walked behind her and Geet found her father's chambers to be locked.

" Raja sahib kahaan hain?" asked Geet. The guards went to their knees and looked down, " Woh abhi so rahe hain" Geet rolled her eyes... she needed to get to her father so she could protect him.

Geet only looked straight into their eyes and said, " Darwaza kholiye" The guards were hypnotised and they opened it for her... suddenly, she saw her father laying down without nothing done to him.

She shut the doors behind her locking Maan out. Geet raised her hands and certain light came from her hands and she only closed her eyes and her long brown hair was blowing loosely against the wind that she had created inside the large chamber.

Suddenly, a man came walking out and he was hypnotised... He had a knife in his hands and he only dropped it. Geet widened her eyes even more and he fell to the ground unconscious.

Geet walked around the room binding her father's chambers wind blew through his room and Geet ran her fingers along the walls and she found him slowly waking up.

He woke up and he saw Geet. He immediately got up and he said, " Geet.. aap yahaan kyun hain? kya ho raha hain"

Geet only raised her one hand and he went quiet. Geet finished binding the room with a charm and her eyes went back to their usual green. Ranveer frowned, " Geet aap humay jawab dein!"

" Yeh samajhlijiye kay aapka jeevan khatre main tha... and i just moved your obstacle out of the way" replied Geet as she pointed to the man laying unconscious on the floor.

Ranveer widened his green eyes and looked to his daughter. " Geet kya kuch aapke saat phirse hua hain?"

Geet softly smiled, " You are safe now..."Without another word Geet opened the doors and released the guards out of hypnotism and she said, " Arrest that man..."

They looked at him holding a knife and laying unconscious on the floor. They immediately went to him and Ranveer came out of his room to find Maan pacing around a few meters away from him... Geet lifted her duppata onto her head not covering her face.

Maan looked over to see the man being arrested and he was alarmed to see such a thing and he saw Ranveer grab his sword and walk towards the end of the large courtyard.

Without any notice that Maan was near her she walked into him. She was startled and most immediately, it felt like her feet were rooted to the ground...

Maan was completely awestruck of the heavenly beauty in front of him. Geet had large almond shaped light green eyes lined carefully with kajjal with big eyelashes. Her skin was absolutely smooth and fair. Her rosy pink lips were large and luscious... and cheekbones very prominent..

Her eyes seemed to look through his soul as if it was refreshing it with new light... She wore a maang teeka and a nathani (nose ring) and large earrings wiht a beautiful emerald green necklace and a red bindi adorned her forhead.

Maan was lost in her completely... he had never seen anything more beautiful than her in his whole life. Maan could see her name that was written in Asthani on her beautiful and slender neck... His heart skipped a beat looking at her over and over again.

Geet looked down and tried to drape her duppata down until he stopped her. As soon as he touched her, Geet felt a burning sensation down her back and the lioness moved around making it painful for her.

She looked down and closed her eyes, not daring to meet with his light brown eyes that were devouring her... " Humay jaana hain" said Geet quickly.

Geet stood there... and Maan only said, " Ab yeh ghunghat aapke chehre ke saamne nahin hoga humaray samne..."

Geet felt a lump in her throat... she felt guilty and she didn't want to cheat him and ruin his life.

Geet only looked up and said, " Agar aapko pata chal gaya kay hum kaun hain.. to aap humse nafrat karenge..."

Maan only softened his expression, " Yeh mumkin nahin hain Rajkumari"

Geet felt the lioness on her back move again and it only happened when she was upset,scared and angry. Maan could not believe that such a heavenly beauty was standing in front of him... as if she was only made for him. He started to feel a sort of possessiveness for her... he felt like he had the right to look at her face, talk to her or touch her.

Maan decided at that moment... that she was his and only his. He would break the bones of any man who dared to go near her. " Hum aapse binti karte hain Rajkumar... hum aur aap nahin mil sakte... kabhi bhi..."

She only tore away from his gaze and ran off towards her chambers. Maan was left dumbstruck of what just happened... He was all the more confused with her. But his growing attraction for her increased minute by minute, day by day.

He wanted to know her truth... he wanted to know what would keep them apart.
