PART 26:
NOTE: FROM NOW ONWARDS THIS STORY WILL BE FROM GEET AND MAAN 'S PERSPECTIVE

GEET:
I lazily opened my eyes. I was too tired and sleepy .i looked at the big time clock it was 3 in the morning i was relieved i still had a few hrs of sleep before that kharoos woke me up.i rolled over smiling with my own mathematics and then while adjusting myself in the new direction i saw him. sleeping there like an angel. MY heart fluttered scaring me. it was going crazy. and withing micro seconds all traces of sleep vanished from my eyes. i was suddenly so much conscious about him us our proximity.. i mentally slapped myself.to avert my eyes but my crazy heart was having an adrenaline rush.. it was going crazy so sleep was definitely out of question so i settled myself for something which was profitable and easy.
oogling at him.
he was lying there so peacefully. moonlight was making his already beautiful face more beautiful. i kept on looking at him. his eyes his nose his lips.i laughed at myself i was studying his features with so much attention as if tomorrow i had my big final exam and i was going to be tested on his features... but that was me . jhallli geet as he wd say.
i looked at his strong arms how much i wished that he wd hold me embrace me. but somewhere i knew it was going to be impossible.
with that i suddenly remembered all that that happened in past few days his changed behavior.
what could have happened that he changed his mind. i was sure that he used to like me. phir aisa kia hua k usne mujh se mu mor liya. per mene bhi to kitna galat kiya. daikha jae to mere hi kiye ki saza hai. i was rude to him. to his family per thats how i was he knew it. phir aisa or kia hogya jo ye mujh se itna door chale gae.
i did not know when my tears started rolling out of my eyes . i mentally slapped myself again. why why why. God knows why my anger is hardwired to my tear ducts.
i sighed but i made a promise to myself i will set every thing right every thing.. but then he started moving little as if waking up from sleep.i closed my eyes at once and pretended to be in deep sleep.
after a few moments he woke up. i sent a silent prayer to God to not let him know that i m awake.luckily my heart had silenced by now. and then i could feel his eyes on me. he was looking at me with intent eyes or my mind was playing tricks with me.and then his soft hand touched my face where still one or two tears sat.
i cursed my luck. what great timing.his sudden touch brought a jolt of electricity in my body with ofcourse my heart trying to jump out of my throat. but i remained still or tried to.but he suddenly straightened i peeked a little from under my eye lashes he was lying still staring far at the ceiling.lucky now he was away i offered a silent thanks but it was short lived cuz the next words that followed killed me right there.
i know you hate me and my whole family. or maybe you don't.
but i know you definitely don't like us either. i had heard what you said.i tried to make your life living hell so that you could understand what you had done to me. but i guess i cant see you in pain. you will get what you wanted i wont stand in your way.you wont have to shed any more tears now cz no matter how he took a deep breath as if even saying the word was causing him pain and continued i wont be able to see your pain. we will go back tomorrow and then you will be free to go. free of me.
he turned his back toward me and maybe slept again but i lied there.numb. fresh set of tears escaped my eyes. but now i wasn't concerned about them i had bigger issues. thousand unanswered questions.
i don't when and how i drifted to sleep.
PRECAP:
he was standing there in his jeans. towel on his shoulder water still dribbling from his hairs.i felt the world around me swirling and i realized i had forgotten to exhale. he smirked looking at me. as if my face had given me away or he had heared my hearts crazy stunts
