A sweet one-shot, love his reactions to Geets past.

Hope he kills Dev (or atleast punches him black n blue) when he realises Dev is a pathetic excuse of a human being😡. After all those Tai-Chi sessions and we get something b/w a punch-slap😔 (wish it was Dev instead of the ice Maan broke in half).

Can you PM me if/when you write an epilogue.

By the way did you write the events out of order by purpose e.g. the first time she met him was when she was running away from the ghundas and that was also the first time he got the tabeez.

Geet left the room and Maan has realized something. He recalled what Geet had told him about Nayantara; she had told Geet that this wedding was fake. And the news put him into flashback mode.

He remembered dev asking him for money so that he can pay of his debts; but Maan being himself had flatly refused to do so. And something struck him hard; dev married Geet in order to get her money and pay of his debt? He had married an innocent girl ; impregnated her and ran away with his wife; so he can have a secure life. How disgusting Dev? How disgusting!

He had to confront Geet now. She has to tell me the truth.

Maan: "Mujhe tumse baat karni hai Geet. Wo insaan kaun hai jisne tumhare saath dhoka kiya? Bolo Geet."

Geet: "Maan aap yeh kya sawaal kar rahe hai? Aapne hi kaha tha ni ki aapko mere ateet se koi farak nahi padta; phir aaj achanak se ye sawaal?"

She was stepping out of the room when he held her and asked her;

Maan: "Jis insaan ne tumhaare saath dhoka kiya; wo aur koi nahi balki Dev jai; Mera chota bhai Dev."

Geet was shocked and stopped in her tracks when she heard that.

Geet: "Maan aapko kaise pata chal gaya? Mera matlab maine to bataya hi nahi aapko."

And hearing her say that; he himself put himself in her shoes and understood her pain; her angst; her sorrows and her fight!

He punched the mirror hard in sheer disgust. Geet screamed "Maan" in pain seeing him bleed and see him hurt himself.

Geet: "Maan yek kya kiya aapne? Ruikye aapko bahut dard ho raha hai; main kuch leke aati hoon; Maan…" and her voice trialed off.

Maan: "Nahi greet; yeh dard to kuch bhi nahi hai; uss dard ke saamner jo tumne mehsoos kiya hai. Main kabhi soch bhi nahi sakta tha ki Dev itna neeche gir sakta hai."

He looked at her eyes; which clearly showed the pain she was suffering due to recollecting her past.

Maan: "Maine tumhare un saare jakhmon ki zinda kiya jise tum bahut pehle bhool chuki hogi; aur waise bhi aise yaadein sambhaalke rakhna bhi kaun chahega?"

With his right hand bleeding; he pulled her near him; and smeared his blood at her head partition.

Maan: "Tum har roop main meri patni hoon. Tum yahi ruko mera kuch aur kaam karna bahut zaroori hai."

She knew that he was going to blast Dev; but she has little heart to stop Maan from doing so. She knew that Maan can never compromise on his principles. And if anyone goes against them; they will not be spared. Even if it means his own younger brother.

He was going for her sake; so that she could get justice. And he went in order to search justice for her!

Maan rushed to Dev's room and punched him across his face. He fell down on the floor.

Dev didn't understand anything; but Maan pulled him up.

Maan: "Paison ke liye tum kuch bhi kar sakte ho na Dev?"

Dev: "Yeh kya kah rahe hai Bro aap?"

Maan: "Dev bano mat. Tumne aapne karz chukaane ke liye; ek 18 saal ki massom si ladki se shaadi ki aur uske paise aur gehne leke bhaag gaye. Tum itna neeche gir sakte ho maine kabhi socha nahi tha."

"Maine pehle kaha that ki Geet ke khoon main gairat nahi hai; par ab mujhe yeh kehna pad raha hai ki; tumhaare khoon main gairat nahi hai."

Dev trying to defend himself;

Dev: "Bro main yeh sab karna nahi chahta tha; par iska poora jaal bichaana; Nayantara ne kiya tha; main sacchi keh raha hoon."

Maan: "To tumahari akal ghaas charne gayi thi?"

Just then Maan punches him again; and he falls down. Maan holds his collar and pinning him to the wall; he slaps him again. Just then Geet enters and is in tears to see Maan beating Dev for her sake. She knows that Maan will never let that person move free who has done wrong with me.

Maan: "Tumhaari ek raat ki hawas ne ek zindagi barbaad kardi tumne; ek masson ko uske parivaar se alag kiya; aur tum mujhse poonch rahe ko maine kya kiya hai?"

"Tumhe yeh sab karte huye ek baar bhi sharam nahi aayi? Ek baar bhi Dadima ki seekh nahi yaad aayi?"

Holding him against the wall; he ordered Geet to call the police. Geet didn't move an inch when he yelled at her; his eyes seething anger; he ordered her again and she obeyed.

The police reach the house and arrest dev; and Maan tells him;

Maan: "Iss baar main dekhta hoon; tumhari anticipatory bail kaun karta hai? Kyunki jis biwi ke pallu ke peeche tum chupte the; wo to pehle hi waha hai; aur tumhari maa; jisne Dadima ko takleff pahonnchayi; wo bhi hai waha; Inspector; ise leke jaao."

Geet came and hugged him tight. She had been given justice; none other than her husband Maan! Justice was delayed but not denied.

She took Maan along with her in their bedroom. She made him sit. She rushed to get the first aid box. His hand was bleeding; but his heart was bleeding equally.

She was done with the dressing and he told her to sleep.

Before going; she said something; and he melted;

Geet: "Kal bhi Maan Geet se pyaar karta tha; aur aaj bhi Maan Geet se pyaar karta hai. Aaj bhi kuch nahi badla Maan!"

He knew he had to answer a lot of people; and he would do anything for Geet!

He covered her with a comforter and went on the couch to sleep.

So guys do you want me to pen down an Epilogue for this? Do leave your precious comments! They really mean a lot to me!
