In the formation of hydrogen molecules, there is a minimum energy state where two hydrogen are so near that their atomic orbitals undergo partial interpenetration. This partial merging of atomic orbitals is called overlapping of atomic orbitals which results in pairing of electrons. The extent of the overlap decides the strength of the covalent bond.

Anyway, there's this character called Dr. Spencer Reid, he's a 24 year old guy on their team of FBI agents. He's got an eidetic memory and he's also my favorite character. Plus, he's cute :D

Umm so there's this episode where he and JJ [another team member. Stands for Jennifer Jareou]

Reid: The password was Colon?!

JJ: It's not Colon, Reid, it's Cullen. The name of the vampire from Twilight?

Reid: What's Twilight?

I did this last year in General Chemistry.

Needless to say, I'm in AP Chem now and I still don't get covalent bonds.😳 Ionic bonds are so much more easier!😆

And I had this horrendous AP Chem test today. Reaction Stoichiometry which is pretty easy and bonds which I know I sucked at! *Sigh*

Good luck for the exam though!:)
