Intezaar

"You should not have wait for me..Nupur don't expect anything from me..i have nothing to give you,I need time to accept this relationship I married you because of my mother" he said in stern voice and Nupur felt earth started spinning around her, she felt as if she was going to get unconscious at any moment or her heart would stop beating she tightly clutched bed sheet in her fist to get some support and tried to control her tears which were threatening in her eyes

"Is it true? May be my ear heard wrong"

Trying to figured out the meaning of his words she looked up straight at a person who was standing in front of her whom he thought her Rajkumar, whom she got married just few hours ago in hope may he said "I did not mean that..it was joke,it was not true"

But it did not happened,there was no sign of regret on his face after saying her those words,tried to ignored her gaze Mayank turned his face in other side and she got her answer

"He meant what he just said to me"

She wanted to asked him if he was not liked her why he said yes to this marriage? Why he showed her dreams of happy life?why he did not tell her before?if he would tell her before she never dreamt of him,she never thought he was his Rajkuma a person who will fulfill her wishes,her dreams

But she could not..

She had not even a right to asked him a question because a person who was his husband snatched from her every right'

She did not know how long she was looking at him with blank eyes in hope may he would say her

"This marriage means to me'"but he did not

Instead felt regret for what he did just few minutes ago Mayank ignoring her went up to cupboard after grabbing out his night dress he went up to washroom and Nupur who was hell hurt due to his words could not control her tears anymore

"toh kya yahan hamara kuch bhi nahi hai?phir toh hamain yahan baithne ka haq bhi nahi hai.."she was looking o vulnerable, her face got pale in just a few minutes,she placed her hand on the corner of bed for support and got up from there,tightly hugging herself she went up to sofa and sat beside it hiding her face in her knees she let them her tears to flow from her eyes

"baba'"

A 6 years girl running towards her father holding her doll while her eyes were filled with tears

"Nupur kya hua?"he asked her lovingly wipoing off her tears and she hugged him tightly

"baba..woh Gunjan keh rahi hai ke Rajkumar sirf stories main hote hain,per ap toh keh rahe the Rajkumaar hote hain"she innocently told him while sobbing

He smiled at her innocent question,he took her in his arms and kissed her cheek lovingly

"haan toh hote hain,,Rajkumar Sach main hote hain"he said with smiled and Nupur smiled to after listening her father's word

"sach baba"she asked innocently in conformation

"bilkul sach'aur dekhna..jab hamari doll bari ho gi toh hum us ki shaadi bhi aik Rajkumaar se hi karain ge"

"bilkul theek kaha"her wife too joined him and after getting conformation from both her parents she smiled happily and they hugged her

She did not the meaning of "marriage"at that time but after hearing her parents words she always dreamt of her Rajkumaar

The sound of door brought back to her from her memories, sensing his presence in room she squeezed herself and tightly hugged her body she again hid her head in her knees

As his presence was reminding her his words again and again and she was feeling herself stranger in "their" room she corrected herself in "his" room..

Mayank who was entered in room got surprised to see her sitting on floor, squeezing herself she was sitting at the corner of sofa, his heart pierced to see her in that condition she was looking so fragile so vulnerable, he never tried to hurt anyone in his life even those person who had hurt him but today he initially or un initially had hurt her so badly, he broke her dreams in just few minutes

He took steps towards her and Nupur who sensed his presence near to her looked up and got up

"Hum kisi ko kuch nahi batayen ge"she said in low voice while sobbing

She was looking scared why? He did not know. It seemed she was not in her senses at that moment his heart wanted to console her why? He did not know but he felt himself as a criminal who did a unforgettable sin, her tears were making him feel guilty he did not know why? he was feeling so guilty even to face her,he took steps towards balcony as he had not courage to face her at that time

Putting her head on her knees, crying on her shattered dreams she did not know when she went to sleep..

The next morning

A new day may blissful for many people but was not for two people who got married a day ago..Mayank opened his eyes as sun rays disturbed his sleep.he tried to moved his face but due to pain he could not as the entire night he slept in sitting position,he rubbed his neck and opened his eyes and after looking around he realized the entire night he spent on balcony and it reminded him the night event,his words what he said to her yeah "her" his wife

"Nupur"

After reminding the entire event a word came out from his mouth and he felt restless, in night when he left the room she was crying

Feeling suffocated in his heart..he got up and was feeling guilty to face her..he took steps towards their room and noticed the room was empty she was not there,everything was placed on it own placed,his dress was placing was on bed,the room was looking clean

But shrugging all the thoughts just one thing was making him restless

"Has she left the house?"

As he knew no girl wished to lived with a person who would said to her at their first night

"He did not want to marry her"
