What a haunting memory to have.. its amazing how she still stuck to her dream of becoming a doctor after seeing how worthless a body is rendered, when life and will , both leave it. impressive strength of character, she has.

Sookie - have been reading all your updates but there was dearth of time for commenting -though, so here's my overall view :

I truly loved how you interwove all characters in this highly intriguing plot -- where we do see how the world of rich is plagued that a person can't see beyond profit or loss ...

So much so-- that it takes its toll on relationships -we saw the not-so-loving bond between the father 'n' children among the Khuranas
I love sibling rivalry -but we can see the cut throat competition between the Khurana brother-sisters despite soured sentiments for a half brother who has a facade to shield from the family politics

Its been clear that Handas have their share of past tragedy too-though Geet wants to overlook and move ahead-despite the fact it stinges her in deep corners of heart and has to bear a detached step mom 'n' only outwardly sugar coated step sis

Really -this fic doesn't involve all that blood 'n' gore like the previous one ,but it does depict the not so beautiful family bonding so well that its curious to see if MG's childhood rapport can still be sustained ...

The conversation between Satya and Geet was awesome!!!

Maan becomes a different guy altogether when he has to talk to Geet regarding their past!!! He is like the soft and caring person who always visualizes Geet as his horizon ... will he go and reach it???

Geet saw her father's death and having lived with such visuals will have a huge impact on her pysche definitely. Going by the conversation it looks like she is expressing it all for the first time.

Loved the last part.. Maan took Geet into a comforting hug.. and Geet needed that comfort !!!

What an idea of Mitalee and Vikram.. wow!! but whatever Maan is playing with he has two strong people to protect and defend him Satya and Geet!! Waiting for the story to unveil the mystery!!
