Mayank finally took his decision. He'd apologize to Nupur, but how could he face her? He thought. He felt himself overwhelmed with guilt and shame. His action was bothering him. He had hurt his fiancee for the girl who left him for money. This was the real fact! He knew everything yet he couldn't control his feelings, and he hated himself for that.

As he closed his eyes, the old memories became fresh in his mind. He remembered the day when he had seen Ria getting intimate with a guy, how harshly she told him that she didn't love him and had refused him even after he said that he couldn't live without her. Tears flowed from his eyes as those memories haunted him and perhaps he knew what he needed to do. Perhaps he knew what was better for him. Determinedly, he wiped off his tears and dialed Nupur's number.

Nupur was sitting silent on her bed. She was thinking of the things happened in her life. She wondered how she would tell Mayank's truth to her mother. While she was deep in her thoughts, her phone rang. Seeing Mayank's name flashing on the screen, her anger took a higher level than before. At first, she thought that she won't receive the call, but the next moment, she thought that she shouldn't run away from the situation. She should face it, so she received the call.

"Aab phone kyu kia?"

"Nupur, mujhe tumse baat karni hai. Please mujhse mil sakti ho."

"Mr. Sharma, how can you ever think that I'll meet you after whatever happened at the restaurant?"

"Please.. ek aakhri mauka de do. Please, Nupur."

"Mayank, tum mera time waste kar rahe ho."

"Mujhe explain karne ka mauka toh do. Please Nupur, I'm sorry for whatever happened. Please meet me."

"Explain karne ka mauka? Sorry? God damn! Mayank, do you realise that mujhe kitna hurt hua apne fiancee ko kisi aur ke baaho mein dekhkar? I agree that we don't love each other but sach bataayu Mayank.. mujhe tum pasand aane lage the."

Mayank was shocked. Nupur quietly started crying.

"Haan Mayank. Hum dono ki shaadi compromise zarur thi, par har ladkiyo ki tarah maine bhi shayad sapne dekh liye the ki main apne husband which means, tumhare saath khush rahungi. Par tumne kuch hi second mein mere saare sapne tod diye.. you broke all my dreams, damnit!"

Saying that, Nupur disconnected the call and broke down.

Mayank was too shocked to react on his phone conversation with Nupur. He didn't know what he should say and do. Everything became simply a mess in his life!

"Mayank, wahi kar jo tujhe sahi lage, jo tera dil kahe."

"Tumne kuch hi second mein mere saare sapne tod diye."

"Mayank, I can't marry you."

All these words of Armaan, Nupur and Ria echoed in his mind, and now he knew what he wanted.

Armaan was pacing around behind Bhushan House. He was worried. Just then; he saw Riddhima coming towards him. He started walking to her.

Riddhima was carefully walking straight, when suddenly she slipped, fell down and moaned in pain. "Riddhima!", Armaan said in shock and ran to her.

"Tum theek ho?", he asked her holding her by her shoulders and made her stand. Riddhima nodded slowly.

"Riddhima, tumhe dhyaan rakhna chahiye tha. Agar jyada chot lag jaati toh you know ki mujhe kitna taqleef hoti?", Armaan said on a spree with a caring look and suddenly he realized what he said at the end.

Riddhima blushingly smiled. "Mujhe chot lagti toh tumhe kyu taqleef hoti?", she shyly asked.

Armaan looked here and there in embarrassment. "Woh.. aise hi.. mere mu se nikal gaya.", he said and changing the topic, he continued, "Waise, jis kaam ke liye tumhe bulaaya tha woh toh bhul gaya."

"Oh yes.. haan bataao, kis liye bulaaya mujhe?", Riddhima asked curiously.

"Riddhima, Mayank ko Nupur se milna hai.", Armaan said with a little embarrassed look.

Riddhima turned furious and said, "Armaan, you know that yeh possible nahi hai, especially after whatever happened."

"Riddhima, please mere liye Nupur ko yaha le aao. Mayank ghar ke baahar hi hai par andar aane se katra raha tha.", Armaan pleaded.

"Okay fine. Par this is the last time.", Riddhima sternly said.

"Done.", Armaan said.

"Riddhi, mujhe usse nahi milna phir bhi tu kyu leke aayi mujhe yaha?", Nupur said in irritation.

"Nupur, ek bar mille.. kya pata kuch accha ho jaaye.", Riddhima said with a sense of hope in her voice.

"Fine, but sirf tere kehene par.", Nupur said.

"Okay baba. Anyways, tu jaa. Mayank ghar ke baahar khada hai."

"Hmm bye aur maa ko kuch mat bataana."

"Theek hai. Bye."

"Bye."

Seeing Mayank's car outside her home, Nupur's anger went to the highest peak but controlling herself, she went close and got inside the car.

"Tumhe mujhse baat karni thi, bolo kya baat hai.", Nupur sternly said without looking at Mayank.

Suddenly Mayank started his car which made Nupur shocked. "Mayank, tum mujhe kaha lekar jaa rahe ho? You can't take me anywhere like this."

"Tumhe kisi se milwaana hai.", Mayank said with an expressionless look and kept himself focussed on driving.

"Mayank, tum apna hadh paar kar rahe ho. Just stop the car, I said."

"Nupur, tum shayad yeh bhul chuki ho ki hum abhi bhi engaged hai and I have right on you, so just stay quiet, got it?", Mayank rudely said.

Nupur was amazed at Mayank's shamelessness. "Tum kaise insaan ho? Don't you have any guilt? Sach mein peheli baar mujhse kisi ko pehechaanne mein galti ho gayi."

"I know Nupur ki main bohot ghatiyaa insaan hoon aur I hate myself for that. Anyways, humara destination aa gaya.. chalo."

Mayank and Nupur went inside a park. While Nupur annoyedly rolled her eyes, Mayank's eyes searched for someone and finally when he got her, he said to Nupur, "Nupur, chalo, aaj main tumse uss ladki se official introduction karwaa deta hoon jiski baaho mein tumne mujhe dekha."

"Whaaatt?", Nupur exclaimed in surprise and shock. How could a man stoop so low? She thought and shook her head.

"Mayank, are you in your senses?"

"Please chalo mere saath."

"Hi Ria!"

Mayank tapped Ria on her shoulder. Ria turned back and gave a big smile seeing Mayank and was about to hug him but couldn't as Mayank stopped her.

"Don't you dare Ms. Shergill."

Ria and Nupur looked at Mayank with wide eyes.

"Mayank, yeh tum kaisi baatein kar rahe ho? Main tumse maafi maang chuki hoon and we did hug each other at noon.", Ria said.

Mayank sarcastically laughed. "Ria, iss ladki se nahi milna chahogi?" he said pointing at Nupur.

Ria confusedly looked at Nupur who rolled eyes at her.

"Yeh kaun hai Mayank?"

Mayank placed his arms around Nupur's shoulders and proudly smiling, he said, "Ria, meet my fiancee Nupur Bhushan."

"Mayank, tumne engagement kar liya?", Ria asked in astonishment.

"Kyun? Nahi kar sakta kya?", Mayank questioned back and taunted her saying, "Tumhe kya laga? Tum mujhe kisi aur ke liye chod kar chali jaayogi aur main tumhari yaad mein rotaa rahunga? NEVER!"

Silence prevailed between the three for a moment, which was soon broken by Mayank himself. He looked at Nupur and said, "Nupur, yeh hai Ria Shergill, my ex-girlfriend, jisse main bohot pyaar tha, shayad ab bhi karta hoon. After all, she's my first love. Par iss ne kabhi mere pyaar ki kadar nahi ki. Mujhe chod kar chali gayi."

Nupur could see sincerity and honesty in his teary eyes, but somewhere she feared yet her heart was telling her to console him.

"I love u Mayank. Please meri galti ki itni badi sazaa mat do.", Ria requested.

Mayank turned his face back to Ria and said, "Main sirf tumhe apne fiancee se milne ke liye bulaaya tha.. now you can go."

"Mayank--"

"Leave right now.", Mayank coldly said to Ria.

Ria left from there. Mayank came in front of Nupur, held her arms as tight as he can and looked intensely in her eyes.

"Nupur, tum soch rahi hogi ki main tumhe yaha kyu le aaya. Well, main sirf yehi chahta tha ki tum meri zindagi ki sacchai jaano aur future mein humare beech koi misunderstandings naa ho. Haan yeh sach hai ki Ria ke liye mere maan mein thodi si jagaah hai and I can't help it cuz dil pe kisi ka bas nahi chalta, par usne mere saath jo kiya, uske baad I can't stay with her. Restaurant mein main kamzor padh gaya tha, uske liye mujhe maaf kardo. I promise that I won't get weak and will keep you happy. Marry me please."

Nupur stepped back and gazed at Mayank. Everything he had said just now was true, she knew as eyes never lie. No matter how much one tries to hide his/her feelings, his/her eyes always speak everything, and surely Mayank was honest. She was sure of it!

After a lot of thinking, Nupur asked Mayank helplessly, "Mayank, tumhi bataao.. Yeh jaante huye ki tum kisi aur se pyaar karte ho, main tumse shaadi karlu? Kaise?"

Mayank had no answer. He actually never thought of this answer.

Nupur smiled. "Koi jawaab nahi hai, right? Pata tha mujhe."

"Nupur-"

"Mayank, main tumse shaadi karungi."

As Nupur suddenly said that, Mayank grinned.

"Par don't think that tumhare liye maine haan ki hai. Tumne Ria se rishta tod diya but you still love her. Anjaane mein ho ya jaan buchke, you have hurt me. Par phir bhi I'll marry you, just because I want my family to be happy. I know ki meri shaadi tutne se maa aur Riddhima ko kitni taqleef hogi, issi liye mera jawaab haan hai."

"Nupur, bohot jald yeh shaadi tumhari zindagi ki sabse badi khushi ban jaayegi. I promise!", Mayank said.

Without saying anything, Nupur left the place. "Nupur, I hope ki hum dono ki shaadi humari life mein khushiya le aaye. Humare beech mein pyaar zarur nahi hai par phir bhi ek strange connection hai humare beech. Pata nahi kya, par kuch toh zarur hai."

Sitting on the swing on the terrace, Riddhima was thinking something. Just then; she felt someone caressing her cheeks. She closed her eyes and said with a peaceful smile, "Armaan."

"Tumhe har baar kaise pata chal jaata ki main hoon?", Armaan asked with an extremely curious look. Riddhima opened her eyes and laughed. "Tum nahi samjhoge.", she said.

"Toh phir samjhaao mujhe.", Armaan demanded. "Samjhaayungi.. pehele tum yeh bataao ki mujhe chot lagne se tumhe kyu taqleef hogi?", Riddhima questioned naughtily.

Armaan came closer. Riddhima sighed deeply feeling his hot breath on her cheek and gripped the dupatta in her fist. She closed her eyes and waited him to do his next action.

"Kyuki main tumse pyaar karta hoon.", Armaan sensuously said in Riddhima's ears.

Riddhima opened her eyes in a jerk. The moment had stopped. Armaan moved back smilingly and placed a soft kiss on Riddhima's cheek. While doing that, Armaan's right ear was closed to Riddhima's lips.

"Aur main bhi tumse bohot pyaar karti hoon." Riddhima said and kissed his earlobe.

Both had the loveliest grins on their faces, and in no time, they tightly hugged each other. Their eyes were closed and they enjoyed the pleasure in each other's arms for long.

After they broke their hug, Armaan noticed tears in Riddhima's eyes.

"Iss khushi ke time mein tum ro kyun rahi ho?", Armaan asked shockingly.

"Bas.. bohot khushi ho rahi hai, iss liye."

"Oh god! Tum ladkiyo ke kitne type ke aasu hote hai? Khushi ke aasu, dukh ke aasu and what more yaar?", Armaan asked in disbelief.

Riddhima playfully hit his arm and asked, "Tum mera mazaak uraa rahe ho?"

"Arey nahi nahi! Main apni Princess ka mazaak kabhi uraa sakta hoon bhala? Never!", Armaan said with broad smile.

"Chalo that's good." Riddhima said with an equal warm smile and suddenly she frowned.

"Aab yeh bhi khushi ka frown hai kya?", Armaan sarcastically asked.

Riddhima seriously said, "Armaan, maine tumhe mehsus toh kar liya but main kuch aur chahti hoon."

"Kya?", Armaan asked.

"Main tumhe dekhna chahti hoon.", Riddhima said cupping his face.

"Tum zarur dekhogi Riddhima.", Armaan determinedly said and cupped her face.

"Koi ummeed nahi hai Armaan. Maa ne bohot saare doctor se baat karli but no hope.", Riddhima moved her hands away and informed him with a gloomy face, lowering her eyes.

"Riddhima, humhe ummeed kabhi nahi chodna chahiye. Be hopeful and I promise ki tum zarur dekhogi.", Armaan said consoling her. Riddhima smiled getting a ray of hope.

"Riddhi, main Mayank se shaadi karungi.", Nupur said to Riddhima numbly.

"Itna sab kuch ho gaya phir bhi?", Riddhima asked in disbelief.

"Haan Riddhi. Yehi maa ki khushi hai.", Nupur replied plainly.

"Teri khushi ka kya, Nupur? Aur waise bhi, achanak se apna faisla badal kaise diya?"

"Mayank aur Ria ke beech jo bhi tha woh past tha aur Mayank mujhse maafi maang chuka hai, and I've forgiven him."

"Nupur, main teri khushi chahti hoon."

"Meri khushi? Pata nahi meri jaan ki meri khushi kaha hai.. Main sab kuch taqdeer par chod diya. Lets see ki destiny mere saath kya karta hai."
