Next day, geet kept her self quit, she wasn't allowed to give in her resignation within 6 months of joining, now she have to hide it from media... And explain everything to ajay, her future hubby.

Maan walks in, he was rather in control of him self today, his heart still ached by seeing geet, but it's high time for him to control. She smiled at him, putting her best fake smile, like nothing matters to her at all, not his feeling, how those painful eyes gazes upon her, oh she haven't forgotten a single second about one another... She could never, how could she? She is in love with him.
Geet "are you feeling alright?" she kept asking, just to know that her presence don't bother him...
Maan "yes... What meeting we have lined up today?"

Geet smiled, softly, and showed his schedule, his business was doing extremely well, she wanted him to grow, then maybe she could argue back with her father, that her maan is the best. And maybe then she could explain everything to him, and they could be gather again. Somewhere she was glad that she left those years back, because it made maan work hard, and he would never be here, where he is today. But why she felt so distance... Maybe because of all this years, he started hate her and why wouldn't he... I am engaged with someone, I left him in middle of our relationship and ... Her heart also ached... Why she have to choose between her family and him, both she love very much.
Maan "miss khurana? Are you happy with this quote?" maan wondered what she was thinking? Why there was a smile on her face when his heart was crying? Doesn't she feel anything? Nothing at all, was our relationship that week! It's me, a fool maan sing khurana who feel for a ugly swan. Who couldn't see through how ugly she is behind those innocent face...
Whole day went by both fighting with them self...

Maya "mama ne bola ap hame shopping le jyange? Kal karachuat hi!" she spoke while handing him his towel and toiletry.
Maan "umm..."
Maya "hame pata hi ap ay nahi mante, per..."
Maan "be ready at 12, I will take you out for lunch & shopping.."
He felt no connection with her at all... How will he live his life with her!

Geet sat there with her breakfast. For past 5 years she have been keeping karachuat for maan, she tried to keep it for ajay, but it never worked, she always made some excuse by not breaking the fast with him, she always broke it with his picture.
geet took one of his small photo from the side, a photo where he is still young, them together... She missed those moment, she truly miss them. How could she be so selfish and leave him...

Maan parks his car flowed by geet, she smiled at him, but maan was lost in his own mind, he couldn't forget geet and that didn't let him move on, now she being with him, it just making it hard, and wars thing was that how she was so natural, like they shared nothing...

Geet knew well how her present probably hunting him, but "I promise maan, I will make sure you become bigger business man then pappa, so he is forced to agree with me..." She smiled...

Geet "I have seen lately, you are very quit!" she smiles, trying to make the mood a bit light between them... She was craving for him, it's been 5 years, 5 long years, only she knows how it went... "you never called!"
Maan was trying to avoid the conversation much as possible but he felt dragged in, he wanted to open his heart to her, complain, scream, shout... And most of all he wanted to hate her.

Maan "why you left?" he came straight to the point. he wanted to here her answer. She didn't have to leave, his whole family accepted her, they were happy...
Geet couldn't answer that at all. What to say, that his own uncle never wanted there families good. Refuged to agree with this marriage...
Geet "my course finished! I had to go..." maans heart felt cheated. It's like some one just staved him with a sharp knife... Was she just with him because she needed someone, the name, the sake of so call boy friend.. He couldn't breath. He hated his heart being so week...
Maan "umm.. We- we have to go in!"
Geet nodes...

He have been observing her, how she tries to be open with him, but why? He tried to avoid her much as possible, yet his heart only wants to be with geet. His ear want to here her voice only, how much he dyes every second to be with her. How his life became so complicated? He only wished for a simple life like his parents.
He wanted some fresh air, couldn't take in the frustration, fighting with his mind. Fighting with him self.

It's near 2, Maya was all ready,ready waiting for maan... But as usual, she was sure he have forgotten... She gives his mobile few call... No answer... She calls again...

Geet walked in, to get maans signature. She will try her best to make his office big again, no matter what, she will make sure his office works fine...
He wasn't there but his phone on table nonstop ringing.., she takes a peep, wasn't sure If she should or not, because of course she don't have that right on him any more...
She slowly tries to look at the name when maan snaps, picking the phone up instantly. Geet jumped and took few step back...
Maan "hello..." he looked at geet while taking to maya...
Maya "ap kha ho? It's 3pm... Market closes at 5..." she sounded really down. This is her first karachuat, and he is not with her, she never complained with anything, but this is something traditional, every wife keeps it for there husband.
Maan "oh... Meh..."
Maya felt like crying, she was so naive and understanding, somewhere maan felt so guilty to play with her emotion. He cursed him self to even agree with this marriage, he couldn't keep him self happy and nor her.
Maya "agar ap nahi cate hame akela cale jaynge." he closed his eyes in frustration. Whole situation was provoking him to get angry...
Maan "I am coming, I will be there in 20 minute!" he hangs up, looks at geet. She observed him curiously... "do you need anything?"
Geet nodes a no, he picks his jacket from the side and quickly rushes out...

Geet felt odd, wasn't sure why he left so much in hurry... She sadly smiled anyway. Her mother called, informing about the karachuat... She have done mostly all shopping... So she was lucky in that way.
