He walked on the now empty streets not knowing where he was going..not knowing why he was going. He was wandering on the roads, with nothing but pain in his heart. He clutched the journal in his hand as he closed his eyes painfully but even when his eyes are closed all he could see was her smile.

A truck was fast approaching and the truck driver saw a man standing in the middle of the road. As it was past mid-night, and due to the lack of traffic, the driver was going in high speed, and upon seeing the man, he horned but the man didn't move. He horned again and tried to brake but the truck was already out of control.

He heard some sound faintly and he turned only to get blinded by lights. He closed his eyes, and with a smile extended his arms, inviting the inevitable.. trying to embrace death.
