In this case, I know the intention behind Maan's act. The intention was to stay away from Geet.

But the unknown factor here is the Motive!! The reason why Maan formed such an intention. Motive need not be proved to prove culpability. But it helps in determining the intention and the level to which a person can be held liable.

What is motive? Its is the thought that prompts the person to form an intention.

I know his intention Shika. So I am judging him. You are yet to reveal the motive, so I am waiting to see if he can be redeem.

And, forget all this. Resorting to getting physical with a woman to prove a point is low!! You cannot say that "I was not in my senses". If every time a Court listens to this arguement, murderers and rapists would never be convicted.

And oh!! To err is human, refusal to admit that you erred is kutta-pan!!

You have revealed only partial intention and that is enough to make me hate him as of now. I am human too who reacts to pain, specially if I am that involved with a story. If your character gets leeway to err, I am an actual live person.
