"Geet there is too much ice and snow you stay here and let me check out the conditions, if it is okay I will send you a car". Geet did not want to argue with him as this project was really important to KC. She smiled and he kissed her on the cheek. "Love you loads". She replied "Me too". She looked at him going off till her eyes could not see him no more.
Geet was sitting around waiting for Maan to call. Suddenly she heard someone knock. She ran to open it as she was expecting Maan. It was the hotel manager. "Mrs Khurana, I have bad news for you, Mr Khurana had gone to the site but there was too much ice and some people drowned in the ice". Geet panicked. "What about Maan?"
"I'm sorry but there is no accurate news yet". Geet left the hotel to go to the site. *Babaji mera Maan teek hona chahiye please*. She cried and cried on the way. Images of Maan lying lifeless encompassed her thoughts. She kept tugging at her hair. How could she live without him? The journey took 3o minutes to the treacherous conditions of Shimla.
As soon as she got there people were leaving as they had to take the dead bodies to the hospital..some had already left. She asked people before they left if they had seen someone wearing a black waist coast ..she described Maan. One lady said yes she saw a waist coat lying around. She picked it up and gave to Geet. Geet looked at it and fell to the ground. "Babaji aap mere saat aisa nahin akr sakte"..she kissed the waistcoat...with tears rolling down.."mere Maan ko muj se judaa nahin kar sakte..Maan why did you leave me I rather have come with you and died". Everyone left and she stood there with his waistcoat motionless..and sometimes hysterically crying. She looked at her phone and thought let me ring him...maybe someone will answer it and she can truly find out what happened. The phone was ringing.
She waited for a reply with bated breath. "Hello Geet?" it was Maan. "Maan its you!" She began crying. "Maan where are you?" It felt like he was close. "Geet I am behind you look". She looked back and saw Maan without his waistcoat. He opened his arms knowing fully well what happened. She ran towards him, as she ran she fell into the thawed ice. Maan ran and tried to get her out of the icy water. He went inside and picked her in his arms.
He looked at her relieved that he had managed to get her out as most people that had drowned there couldn't be found. She was shivering like a leaf. Maan put her in his jeep and took her back to the hotel room. He rang the manager to call a doctor and to be there as soon as they enter. Geet had her eyes opened but kept wailing in pain as she had caught hypothermia. Maan picked her up in his arms and bought her to their room. The doctor checked her and gave Maan some medicines. "Mr Khurana , your wife has caught hypothermia, please change her clothes and give her these medicines..a little rum will make her warm..and if she still doesn't respond then you will need to...you understand what I'm saying...please make sure she doesn't go to sleep till her body temperature doesn't return to normal". Maan thanked the doctor.
Maan closed the lights and undid her dori and pulled her kameez off...she was shivering against him. He opened her bra. He used a towel to dry her upper half. He pulled her shalwar and knicker in one motion. He covered her with a blanket and dried her hair with a hair dryer.
He gave her the medicine and bit of the rum. She managed to swallow it despite choking. She started to shiver more and he began getting concerned. "Geet sardi ki neend moth ki neend hoti hain, get up please". He began rubbing her feet and shaking her violently. "Geet please open your eyes, you can't leave me"..he rubbed her hands but she didn't respond. He hugged her "Geet please open your eyes..without you my life is worthless". Geet closed her eyes and fell to the bed.
Maan remembered what the doctor had said. He looked at her state and thought her life is more important than our principles. He took his wet shirt off and then his trousers. Maan shut the light and left the lamp on. He came on the bed and came inside the blanket on top of Geet. He cupped her face. "Geet I'm sorry but I can't afford to lose you". He took her in his manly warm arms and hugged her. She moaned and responded "Maan".
"Hmm?" he asked. She whispered Weakly. "I love you". He had tears in his eyes and kissed her face "I love you too". She tugged into him. He parted her legs and placed himself on top of her. He gently tried to break her virginity. After a few attempts he entered inside her. He began gently thrusting her. She was getting warmer. She began kissing him in painful pleasure. Her shivering had stopped. He lay on top of her till her body temperature became normal.
Maan had a shower and waited for Geet to get up. She woke up with a groggy head. She moved and felt pain in her lower region. She squirmed in pain...she realised she was naked..she covered herself with the spread. She quickly sat up and looked on the bed there were marks of her prized possession-her virginity which was no more. She remembered Maan calling out to her and then him being on top of her making love. She began sobbing. "Geet please don't cry...this was necessary otherwise you would have died"..he touched her face. "Maan I rather you let me die". He grabbed her angrily. "Geet your life might not be important to you but for me it is...I couldn't imagine a life with out you..meri zindagi ko tumari aadat hain Geet...our principles are nothing compared to your life samji tum?". She threw herself in his arms. "Maan what about our wedding night, it is ruined!"..he touched her face. "No it isn't..I know your pure and only mine..and plus whats one suhaag raat..our every night will be a suhaag raat". Her sobbing turned to laughter. "Geet I will not do anything like this till our marriage but this was necessary...I promise our suhaag raat will be special..". He assured her and she began to understand him. "Maan I feel in pain".
"Well thats normal...and sorry for that". He hugged her and sighed a relief that she was well. He vowed that he needed talk to his mother about marriage.
