But u already know how much i love SaMaan...they both deserve this baby after the hardships they have gone through...* reya pleading with a cute baby face*and the love for Adeet is starting 😳...p.s the comment on my OS was replied by to like days ago...but clearly my new stalker needs some training from me 😆
tonights updates will definitely have some surprises 😉...and omg!! i know..ive been meaning to reply but ive been so busy knocking out the epi for HS...that was the only think on my mind this weekend!😳
JAZ
congrats on new thread dear...thank you! 😃
till part 14
wow u write so beautifully...
u actually made me cry... aww...which part...or the whole thing! 😆
only few stories make this deep effect but this am still not able to the terms of it...
i wont pressurize u but still i hate ur Maan at least this Maan to the core...
no offense dear but this Maan has really made to feel like this...
read the story in one go so the effect is so raw... he he...i accept your opinion...but just one thing...maan's point of view isnt out yet...not that it will change your mind...but im just saying 😉
cant possibly hate Naina because she was so childish...
but Maan never ever expected him to react like that then and also him to have moved on to this extent...
she got married to Sam immediately after his breakup with Geet though twas on contract but did it never occur to him how Naina will feel or be treated by Sam whom he didnt know much before?
Maan's doings are so baseless... not necessarily...there are lots more to come out about Maan and Naina's relationship and past conversations...what led to Maan marrying Sam and what led to Maan and Naina not talking in over a year...😛
he now too feels much for Geet and gets possessive seeing Geet with Adi...
he is making my blood boil...
Naina is now feeling the pain for separating Maan and Geet...
whats the use... all about karma here 😉
cant hate Sam, shes really good...
Geet is in so much pain and Adi is like a fresh breeze...
now too SaMaan doesnt sound perfect but its entirely ur call...
Geet will always love Maan to her last breath and with Adi it wont be of pure true love a lil' bit of compromise will be there... who says that first love is always "true love" 😉
OMG Sam is pregnant and she has had 2 abortions before... oh no no...not abortions...miscarriages...abortions are voluntary...miscarriages are not...she never killed her own babies...my Sam would never do that!! 😲
how the hell did Maan move on?
wanna know about that...
but will hate Maan throughout this story...
or till i get cooled down... lol...aab how are you doing? cool yet or still boiling 😆
pm me dear...
Authors Note: READ WITH CAUTION!! this update is full on Sameera and Maan...read at your own risk...i dont want complaints later about how much you hate them
Part 15
Los Angeles was a place that people from all over the world loved. The hustle and bustle of Downtown Los Angeles, the celebrity of Hollywood, the care-freeness of the beach, the spectacularly sunny year-round weather and the diversity of many cultures. However, there was one particular reason why Maan Singh Khurana hated Los Angeles and he was sitting in the middle of that reason – traffic.
As soon as he'd left the hospital Maan had hopped on to the freeway that led to Downtown LA where the county's headquarter for the LAPD was located. Unfortunately there was only one freeway that connected him to Downtown and that was the 101 Freeway – hands down one of the worst and most highly trafficked freeways in the world. It didn't matter what time of day you were on the freeway there was always traffic. Even though Maan was in a rush to get to the police precinct he was moving at snails speed (at best) and there was nothing he could do about it.
As he sat in the freeway that had turned into a parking lot, his mind drifted back to the hospital where he'd left his family. He couldn't help but scoff at himself, his fate and his luck as he thought about what had transpired the past few days. His sister was in the hospital after being raped by some low-life scum bag and was refusing to see him. His wife lay in a hospital bed beside herself in worry about their unborn child. In the middle of it all he'd run into the woman whom he's resented for years.
Maan couldn't help but chuckle at his predicament. He knew that somewhere destiny and even God was looking down at him, pointing a finger and laughing.
He hadn't supported Geet's decision to leave him to pursue a career. He'd hated her for casting him aside like he'd meant nothing. He even resented her for establishing the life she wanted when his life had been turned upside down. He didn't necessarily blame her for leaving him, but he did blame her for leaving Naintara – her Naina. She walked away from Naintara when she needed Geet the most, and for that Maan could never forgive her. He had thought she'd loved his sister like he did but he was wrong.
However, Geet was the one person who held the well being of his entire family, of each and every person he loved, in the palm of her hands. She'd taken care of Naintara and was now taking care of Sameera and their child.
Maan didn't know why he'd resented her and her success because he knew it was hypocritical. He'd moved on with his life and was happy with his life. He knew she deserved the same and on some level he hoped that she had that. But one part of him wanted her to realize what she'd lost when she left him behind.
He sat conflicted in his rental car unsure of how to feel about it all. Yes, she'd walked out on him and yes it had hurt like nothing ever had. However, he had to admit that if she'd never left him he would have never made the deal with Sameera and then he'd never be expecting a child. Sure, if he and Geet had stayed together they'd have had children, but not this child. This child was his and Sameera's child and he wouldn't change that.
As Maan looked at the long stretch of freeway with bumper to bumper traffic ahead of him, he let his mind drift back to the miracle and surprise that his relationship with Sameera had been.
--------Flash Back--------
Maan was sitting in his office dazed at how out of control his life had spun in the past few weeks.
His parents had died.
He'd proposed to Geet.
She'd said no.
They'd broken up.
He still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that Geet wasn't a part of his life now and never would be in the future. He could never forgive her for walking out him when he and Naina had needed her the most. Yes, he understood her passion and drive to get her education and to fulfill her dreams. Yes, he understood her responsibility to fulfill a promise she made to her dying mother. What he didn't understand was why she was fighting him on the fact that she could still do all of that after she married him. What he didn't understand is how she could not be there for Naina when she needed her the most.
His phone beeped with a text message from Naina asking where he was because she was waiting for him to have dinner. Checking the time, Maan realized that it was late. Logging out of his computer he grabbed his things and walked into the main office floor when he saw the light on in his assistants office. He figured she was working on something for her online classes so he just wanted to let her know he was leaving but that the night security guard would be there if she needed anything.
As soon as he saw her he could see she was upset but when he asked her about it, she said it was nothing and rushed off dropping behind a piece of paper. Against his better judgment he'd read the letter that basically said that her chances at pursuing further education was done because her financial aid had been pulled. His heart went out to the girl because he knew what a difficult life she'd led and what the push was to become a lawyer. Sure, Maan wasn't friends with his employees but he still heard the gossip and one thing he'd liked about Sameera when he hired her was her frankness. From the get go she told him that this wasn't her dream job but she needed the money and the benefits it offered and she's give a full 110% to the job.
After thinking about it all night with very little sleep, Maan knew that they could help each other. If Sameera married him, she would be giving Naina the family she so desperately needed and he's be more than willing and happy to help her achieve her dreams and support her family. So the next day he'd called her into his office and made the proposal – business proposal – to her. He knew he'd caught her off guard so he didn't take offense when she asked for time to think about it.
The next morning she came into his office and said, "Yes I'll marry you."
"Ok…" Maan said as he closed his laptop.
"But I have some guidelines…" she said.
"I do too…" Maan said.
First and foremost, Maan told her about Geet. They were going into a marriage and he couldn't start that off without telling her the whole truth about Geet, their breakup and the situation he was currently in.
They talked for a while discussing what they expected from the marriage of convenience that they were about to walk into. The both agreed that while it was a legal marriage it wouldn't be a real marriage until both parties agreed to advance their relationship, if at all. They both agreed that marriage was an institution that they both respected so it was a once in a lifetime thing and they had to go in with eyes wide open. When Maan had suggested a prenuptial agreement, Sameera and refused saying that the vows were 'til death do us part' so divorce was not an option. Maan admitted he admired her for that.
With all the formalities taken care of, they were married within two week. Sameera had moved into the Khurana Mansion while Maan had made arrangements for a large apartment for her parents and round the clock care for her ailing father.
While it was bit awkward and bumpy at first, they'd managed to find a balance in their relationship that grew into friendship over time. The only thing that bothered Maan was that despite her being the one that had begged for a family, Naina seemed more than just indifferent to Sameera. At times she was downright disrespectful and rude and Maan couldn't understand why. He'd given into what she wanted and needed, then why was she being so difficult.
He knew the moment that his feelings began changing for her. He knew the moment when he started seeing her something more than just a friend and partner. It was three years after they'd been officially husband and wife.
Maan had been working from home that day because the office was under construction for remodeling. He was so engrossed in his work that when he heard a door slam he was startled. Coming out of his office he saw the room for his 12 year old sister closed and locked.
"Naina…are you ok?" he asked.
"I told you! I'm not Naina anymore!" she yelled from inside.
Maan sighed and rolled his eyes, "Ok…Naintara, are you ok?"
"Just go away…leave me alone," she said.
It was then that he noticed she was crying because her voice cracked.
"Are you crying?" he asked concerned.
When she didn't answer he knew he was right.
"Come on Naintara, we can talk and maybe I can help you deal with your problem," Maan said.
"No! No one can help me. I'm never leaving this room again," she said as she wailed.
Maan figured it was just another one of her tantrums, which had been happening more and more often, so he let it go. He came out of his office again two hours later but found the room still locked, that is when he began to panic. Lucky for him, Sameera walked in shortly after.
"I don't know what's wrong with her," Maan said as he met her at the top of the stairs.
"What's wrong with who?" Sameera asked confused.
"Naintara," Maan said.
"Why? What happened?" Sameera asked.
"She won't talk to me but she's been crying for the past two hours," he informed.
"What?" Sameera said shocked. "Do you want me to try?"
"Sure," Maan said as he shrugged his shoulders, "What do we have to lose?"
Sameera gave him a soft smile as she walked up to Naintara's door and knocked lightly.
"Hey Naintara, it's me Sam," she called.
"Go away!" Naintara yelled back.
"Are you sure? Is there anything I can do to help?" Sameera asked.
"I said go away! I don't need you!" Naintara yelled even louder.
"Ok…" Sameera said not wanting to push, "But know that I'm here if you need a girl to talk to…I know how tough middle school can be for a girl."
Maan knew that though he wanted Sameera to push, she wouldn't because she never wanted force Naintara to do something. Though it had been three years and still Naintara had not accepted Sameera, she felt that when the time was right, Naintara would accept her.
"Give her time Maan," Sameera said, "Maybe she's just having one of those days."
"But…" Maan protested.
"Give her time," Sameera repeated as she began to walk away.
Just then they heard the door to Naintara's room click open as she stepped out wired rimmed eyes and a tear stained face.
"Naintara what happened," Maan asked as he rushed over.
Much to his shock she slammed the door in his face.
"I want to talk to Sam…only Sam," Naintara called from the other side of the door.
Maan looked at Sameera helpless.
"Ok Naintara," Sameera called, "It's just me…you're brother won't come in."
A few seconds later they heard the door be unlocked so Sameera made her way in while Maan stood outside pacing and waiting to find out what was going on. A few minutes later Sameera came out of Naintara's room with a smile on her face. She tapped him on the shoulder but without saying anything she went to her room. She returned shortly with a pink stripped Victoria's Secret bag that she went into Naintara's room with. Another few minutes she came out.
"How about if we order in for dinner today," Sameera said as she walked towards her room, "I don't think I'll have time to make anything."
"But…" Maan asked.
"Naintara and I are going on a little field trip as soon as I change," Sameera said.
With that she disappeared into her room leaving Maan dumbfounded. He still stood in the hall when Sameera came out and knocked on Naintara's door.
"Ready to go?" Sameera asked when Naintara opened the door.
Naintara nodded her head and stepped out of her room.
"We'll be back soon," Sameera called as they disappeared down the stairs.
They returned almost an hour later holding bags from a local drug store only to become sequestered in Naintara's room once again.
"Remember, if you need to talk or have any questions, please come to me," Sameera said as she closed the door.
"What about dinner?" Naintara asked.
"Don't worry, I'll handle your brother," Sameera promised.
Maan frowned at the comment.
"What's going on?" Maan demanded.
"Shhh…" Sameera admonished as she gently closed the door of Naintara's room.
She took his hand and dragged him away making their way downstairs.
"What's going on Sam?" he asked exasperated.
"Nothing…really it's nothing to be worried about," Sameera said as she made her way to the kitchen to look for menus.
"Why was she crying?" Maan asked.
Sameera smiled at him before she answered, "Your baby sister isn't a baby any more…she's a woman."
