PART 2

That afternoon, Maan came back to see Geet. She was getting ready to leave.
Nani- Geet beti, main zara bank ko jaa rahi hoon. Aap yahan wait kariye.
Geet- Nahi Nani, main ghar khud chali jaongi.
Nani- Theek hain, jaise aap chahiye, dhyaan se jana. Tumhe ghar ka rasta pata hi hain, haina?
Geet nodded. Geet took out her white cane. Maan got out of his car and walked behind Geet to make sure she comes home safely.
Maan just looked at her through out the whole entire walk home. The way she walked home all alone, how intelligent she must be to know where exactly the sidewalk is, where she should cross the road, where she should stop, it was just amazing.
When she arrived home, she slightly tilted her head.
Geet- Agli baar jab mera peecha karenge, to mere saath jaroor chalna.
Maan- Tumhe kaise pata main tumhara peecha kar raha hain?
Geet smiled.
Geet- Andhi hoon, lekin bewakoof nahi hoon.
Maan walked up towards Geet.
Maan- I'm Maan. Maan Singh Khurana.
Geet smiled.
Geet- I'm Geet Handa.
Maan- To tum janam se aise hi ho?
Geet- Matlab?
Maan- Blindness.
Geet- When I get to know you better, tab bataongi. As for now, bye.
Maan- Wait!
Geet- Ji?
Maan- You are very beautiful.
Geet smiled and went inside.
Geet- Sab larke ek jaise hain. Jaise vo kaminey the, vaise yeh hain.
After a while, Geet went to sleep while Maan walked back to his car. Preeti was waiting there in front of his car.
Preeti- What are your intentions? Huh?
Maan- Matlab?
Preeti- Kaisi Geet ke peeche pade ho tum. Dekho, she has a huge past jise vo kabhi bhul nahi payegi and if you hurt her, vo mar jayegi. Usne bahut baar dhoka khaaya, vo ek aur bardaasht nahi kar paayegi.
Maan- I feel we have something...there's a spark.
Preeti- You just met her today! How can there be a spark?!
Maan- I don't know!
Preeti- Well we don't care about you at all. She doesn't need you. She has all the people in the world that she needs.
Maan- I just want to be a friend.
Preeti- I don't think so.
Maan- She is already my friend. She already told me her name.
Preeti- If Katrina Kaif told you her name, what that make her your friend?
Maan- No
Preeti- Well same here. She told you her name, nothing else.
Maan- Like it or not, she is my friend.
Preeti grabbed his collar.
Preeti- Be her friend, nothing else. Don't break her heart, or else, or else I'll kill you.
Preeti let go of his collar and left. Maan left astounded.
