Dadima and anni walked in ranos house.very exited with the proposal... Anni started to worry now. Who is this geet if bro wants to merry ranos daughter! But then other day she have seen her with him, and that to very close. She indeed was very confused.

Rano smiled and welcomes both in. All the kids were out, including geet.

Dadima "how can I start? You know maan! He is a very nice boy. You know everything about him, how can I start this!" she smiled. Wasn't sure how to start this talk at all. Rano smiled and made it easy.

Rano "I find my self very fortunate that you considering my daughter as your, thinking to make maans wife." dadi smiled, as they hugged and passed there sogun around with few other little ceremony.

Later on the afternoon geet and rajji finally arrives home. Covered with shopping bags. Rajji was just dreading to be home. She ran in her room instantly.

"what happen to her?" geet asked rano. Watching her disappearing up along the stair.

"I really don't know!" rano replied. Also looking at her daughter. "she have been very off lately."

"I really wonder what's the matter! We have brought all the gift! Right!" geet double made sure. She always made sure the happiness that wasn't there for her, she full fills for her siblings. Taking care of every aspect. Never miss out anything,. Starting from holidays to there toys.

Sometime her budget could be a probably... but she always does tries her best. Her thought was disturb by ranos words of marriage. .. She was telling her about every details they have done when maans dadima was around.

"savetri devi was here today, asking Your hand for maan." geet turns round without a second thought. Her confusing face feared rano...

"marriage?" she just told maan but it shouldn't be this soon! She have her sibling to look after then flowed by her mother! No! No! This can't be it! "I am not ready for marriage!" she bluntly replied. She knew well this is a sudden decision, knowing maan he will at least let her know before sending dadima to her house to arrange this and anyway she have seen dadima few hours back, why she have not mentioned anything then! Geet felt confused and equally shocked hearing about the word marriage. She have many responsibility to full fill before this marriage. She closed her eyes with the over lode thought.

Rano looked at her in surprise! Dadima and her self already thinking about engagement date.

"I have to talk to maan!" se mumbled and was about to walk way when rano holds her hand roughly. What this girl was thinking? She needs to think about her self and most importantly maan.

"no you won't!" rano snaps. "this is ridicules. You know how much he loves you, and when this marriage thing will happen, then why not now?" she asks her angrily.

Somewhere rano her self was thinking about maan more then geet. Geet was strong and could handel everything easily. She have been brought up like that but maan, he- he does not know how it feels when something you want the most its not there. Will he be able to understand and what if he eventually gets frustrated of geets denial.

"yes, I love him 2, but I can't merry right at the moment, specially when I am the only income source in the house." geet answers back. While rano realizing her daughter is correct. She is the only income source and that somewhere have left her shaken... Her mind went to a different thought also thinking about her daughter pov. She have been here looking after all this for her. Wasn't she suppose to do this... Its her responsibility and she have thrown everything at her. Everything. Rano tried to look way... Her marriage her life... Rano never thought about this untill her refugal to the marriage and that to with a strong reason. It made her look small, carless. She never have been a good mother and today her daughter refusing to merry and in most way she is responsible for this.

Rano looked at geet bluntly. Thinking, she was not sure what exactly but geets word have left her shaken. A small tear dropped out of her eyes. Geet observed. Trying to read the expression.

Somewhere geet realized her words. Her word may indirectly questions her mothers upbringing. Reminding her of every truth. Every mistake that's craved on her death bed. Drop by drop tears rolled down ranos eyes. She smiled sadly looking way. There was nothing to say and it's clearly ranos mistake. Well that's what she thinks at least. Geet holds her mother shoulder in order to comfort those words. Stopping her... There was no way she could heart her mother like this. She could not even dream to heart her. Geet holds her hand in order to comfort but in vain ranos shock and sudden tear did not stop.

"I Am sorry mom" she whispered. I have no intention, I promise. Nothing. It's I..." she hugged her mother from the back.

"you have to think, after marriage I won't be able to look after you the way I do now! I know maans family is very rich but I am not and nor are you. For you I have to think about there future, and if I leave how will you?" she tried to be understanding, but rano slowly losses her self from geet and walks off. Realizing how much her life have been depending on others. How selfish, carless she is...

She have ruined her daughters happiness her life. She have snatched everything way from her. How could she?

Geet stood there shedding tears. She could read the pain of her eyes. How can she be so carless. She knows how innocent her mother is. How she takes small word in heart. She may not mean those words but the fact is those word have left her in dilemma. Its hurting her. The realization heating her. Geet's eyes falls on maan, who may be probably stood there listening. Geet looks at him with a pleading eyes, ran towards him and hugged tightly. Maan kissed her hair, gently bringing her closer. Holding her tight.

"she does not understand anything! All she worries about my marriage! Does she realize that if I am not here who will look after them?" maan somewhere felt heart, he is always there for her. In everything, her family is his family. How could she think that after marriage he or his family will not let her look after them! In fact how can she think he will not do anything. He slowly pulls her cheek up, removing her tears way with his thumb flowed by few kiss.

"you don't worry! If you don't want to merry now, don't worry!" he spoke in a half hearted voice.

"no, of course I want to settle my life with you, but not like this, I want to make sure she is fine. My siblings are fine! They are happy, the happiness I couldn't have, the unlucky girl I was! I don't want them to be the same!" she spoke without taking any breath. Almost like she wants then out. Geet wanted to shout that how much they means to her. How her thought always revels round them. Its not her mother fault and she should not think that somewhere she is responsible for this. They are her family. She loves them. Care for them. Want to be there for everything.

Maan smiled sadly, maybe at least even a tiny bit of care was there for him, he would have lived happily. Somewhere he still did not feel the bond she shares with other member of her family.

Actually he never felt this type of bond with anyone. Understanding the value of a relationship it's been aloof to him. He really wondered how? His bond so far have only been with geet. Who he cared, love and adored. Winning her trust was something very lucky, something he felt so proud of.

"you understand me na!" geet looks at him with pleading eyes. Almost like begging him to understand. She did not want him to be in enigma. Never... Never about any relationship... But all she found was confusion in his eyes...

Maan gently nodes. Kissing her for head bringing her close, flowed by another kiss. Both staid in that position for while. Feeling one another. Until maan broke the silence...

"where is rajji? Why this house is so quit!" geet smiled, Wiping all the tears off with one hand. She smiled...

"shila and vicky also coming." she snakes a hand round maan's waist and together starts walking towards rajjis room.

"when? And vicky seems to be very upset with me!" maan wonders why! It's been few weeks that he have not spoken to him! Vicky is the only person in KM that he is close to!

"why wouldn't he be! He loves shila, and you disapprove there relationship!" geet makes a baby face. Trying her best to forget all the sad moment that they just shared.

"my decision matters to him?" he asked in surprise. "I thought I am only allowed to take decision in business! No where els!" he was serious but geet took it in a joky way and punched maan.

"ouch!"

"don't fake it maan! I know it did not even touch you!"

"acca suno!" both stops. Maan gently spines his hand round her waist... Bringing her close. "we should at least do our engagement! So I have a grantee you will merry me!" he mocked. Geet playfully punched his chest.

"maan! It's a rubbish joke!" she makes a baby face.

"no! I am serious!" maan changes his tone of voice.

"acca! But when?"

"next week! I think we can Handel everything." he smiled... Geet nodes and hugs him back.

I am Really sorry, have been off like for 4 days, but i was very busy

with collage party and just last bit of work. basrely had time to even breath. very glad to be back tho :)

and back to regular update :)
