Next morning, when Geet woke up she realised that she was not in her room. She recalled the previous day's events. She prayed to Babaji to give her the strength to bring her babies into the world safely. After freshening up she went out only to find Meera in the kitchen. She went to the kitchen andsaid "Good morning Meera. Tune mujhe uthaya kyun nahi. Itna late ho gaya???"

Meera replied "Tujhe jaldi kyu uthna hai??? Tujhe ab sirf araam karna hai" She then made Geet sit and brought her breakfast and they had it together.

PRESENT

"jaan.." he sat beside her. she looked lost somewhere.

"jaan…tum theek to ho?" he held her shoulders. He had finished with his calls..it took him a good darn 45 minutes!!! Irritating calls…yikes! He had put on a shirt just to avoid throwing the phone while the calls were on. That's when he noticed her lost…Still in that position...Ruffled hair…unbuttoned nightie…just the way he had left her! he wondered if she was alright.

"Geet.." he was a bit loud!

"hmm..j..ji…" she was startled!

"kahan khoyi ho? Tabiyat to theek hai na? doctor ko phone karun?" he cupped her face!

She held his hands gently, "nahi Maan…am alright!"

"umm.. are you sure? Mujhe to nahi lagta..tell me whats bothering you sweetheart..kya baat hain?"

And the next moment he saw tears make a journey from the corner of her almond eyes to the corner of her plump lips.

"Jaan..kya baat hain?" he was worried. But she took his hands in her which cupped her cheeks and kissed his palms!!!!

"Maan…I Love You!"

And she fell in his arms hugging him tight, sobbing!

Was it her pregnancy hormones or something else..he didn't know…but he hated to see her cry. He hugged her back, "I love you too jaan….ab ye batao..kis baat se pareshaan ho?"

She didn't reply and pulled him closer like she was compensating for the days she was with that jerk…ugh..she didn't want to think of his name either…for the time she was not with her angel!!

"can you just hold me like this for sometime?" she muttered in between her sobs.

He was now really getting worried for her but the moment, he felt, was hers and he knew it well. He just held her closer to his heart and her hands clutched his shirt tighter. He gently caressed her hair trying to calm her down as he felt his shirt getting wet near his heart!

Moments passed in complete silence as both kept still until her words broke that cue!

"I regret…." She sobbed!

He didn't speak…as already mentioned…it was HER moment and he must not ruin it with his words!!!

"I regret….each and every moment I was not with you…."

"I regret each and every moment i…i..i spent with that man…" she was shivering and there was a complete disgust in her voice.

She got out of his embrace and cupped his face, "why are you so nice Maan? Why didn't I find you earlier?" her tears spoke volumes…more than her words..conveying a deeper meaning…

"I…I am such a stupid Maan…"

"shhh…jaan….aisa kuch nahi hai…", he cut in between…unable to see her blaming herself, "chalo ab rona band karo……you are not stupid samjhi tum!"

That look on her pale face just pierced his heart. Had she not been through enough? He cursed the gods to remind her of the past!

"I regret my stupidity of not having waited for you and getting tied down in a relationship that was not meant for me…"

He didn't know whether to let her speak or not!!!

"mere saath jo bhi hua…sab meri hi galti thi..why Maan…why did I agree for that marriage? Why couldn't I fight with my family against it even though I knew I was not ready for it? Why couldn't I meet you before? Why??? I regret each and every moment I spent without you!"

He pulled her close and he squeezed her in his embrace!

"CHUP….BILKUL CHUP! Aaj kal bahut bolne lagi ho tum..you kow that?" he tried to make her understand his point too along with making the moment lighter!

"and may be how we met..provided the conditions prevailing..i think god wanted to tie us in a bond stronger that anything else..so we were in a preparatory stage you know..before we met in our own different ways!!!"

"umm…" she held him close and wiped her tears with his shirt. He smiled realizing her calming down!

"when I met you geet for the 1^st time…and the atmosphere…I really felt blessed! It was like I found someone whom I can defie as my soul mate….in that 1^st look itself!"

"umm….phir???"

He felt like laughing. It was like he was narrating a story to a little baby in his arms…he couldn't help smile as he nicknamed her in his mind—Geet Baby!!!

"phir kya…I was so so so shocked to see a big tummy of yours which actually made me wonder if you had that much big Fat belly or you were really pregnant!"

Her mouth turned a big O and she got out of his embrace pushing him away!!!!

"aap..aap….us din bhi mera mazak uda rahe the?? I could guess seeing your face that day you know!!!!" she made a big face and looked up, "baba ji…kaise insaan ke saath shaadi karwa di meri??? Humesha mera mazak udate rehte hain!"

He laughed seeing her cute complaining face…phew she was better now!!! Mission Complete!

He was just about to get up when she held his hand and pulled him to sit back!

"But..i would like you to know how I met you that day Maan!" her face had lost that cuteness and her voice went low!

"no jaan…we are not going to talk about it.." he feared her breaking down again..that was not good during pregnancy!

"Maan please…" she tried to stop him from leaving, " I WANT to tell…"

"I don't want to hear…its going to hurt you sweetheart!!!!"

"NO" she shouted, " It WON'T!!!" and her voice went low again, " I WANT TO TELL YOU…..PLEASE!!!!"
