She hugged him tight. His warmth in the cold rain was transmitting a feel of security to her entire being. Maan on the other hand didn't moved or reacted. He stayed there just like that letting her feel him. Geet didn't even remembered just few hours ago he had shouted at her just for entering his room as all she was thinking was how serene and complete it was to be in his arms...!!

Maan himself was surprised. He was not getting wild like the time he kissed her instead his protective instinct was surfacing. What maan didnot know was that, he himself needed her touch to calm down. That was the irony of his complicated feeling.

He knew geet was upset and lonely and right now intimidated due to thunder, so his prime concern was to give her the assurance of safety. To calm her wild heart. And he did.

He slowly placed his arms around her wet form providing his warmth to her. They remained like that for a small moment, but it felt like eternity.

Maan felt blessed to be so close to her. He knew she feels for him and he couldn't have been happier enough, only if he was not a demon. And suddenly the word escaped from his lips...

Sorry...!!

Geet opened her close contented eyes abruptly at his word and looked at him questioningly separating a bit...

I shouldn't have yelled at you...maan said in a hoarse voice...I am sorry...!!

Geet was about to open her mouth to say something, but maan stopped her and said again...

No geet, let me...!!

She saw the pain evident in his eyes which pinched her somewhere in her heart and she shook her head in a no while maan continued...

Did I hurt you...??

She replied in negative. Maan closed his eyes and asked again...

No geet, what I meant to say is...he paused before speaking again...did you got hurt when...when I kissed you...??...he completed hesitatingly

Geet lowered her eyes feeling shy and shook her head in negative.

Maan saw the red hue spreading on her moist cheeks and missed a beat. He couldn't help but smile at his cute little mishty, falling for her all over again...!!

He could just devour her right there. She was innocence and seduction personified together.

Controlling his evil heart he turned around and said...

Geet its getting late...you should sleep as it has already crossed your time of sleep...maan held out his hand to her while she willingly accepted and grabbed his hand. Together they walk down and reached geet's room. Geet went inside and waited for maan to say something. When he didn't uttered a word she felt a little disappointed and was about to close the door when maan said...

Uh, geet...!!...better change fast else you may get sick...he said avoiding to look at her. Geet nodded and was again closing the door when she heard him speak again...

Geet...this time he looked at her and wished her in a soft husky whisper...goodnight...!!

Before she could even blink her lashes maan rushed to his room and closed the door. Geet felt her heart would explode with delight. The night has never been better with the kiss she got and his wish was the icing on the cake...!!

Jumping with joy she rushed to the washroom and later she came to bed holdig the spread close to her. She was lost in the thoughts maan when her eyes went to the wall clock and maan's words on the terrace came back to her and she got up in a jiffy...

Frowning deep she said to herself...how does he know when I sleep...??

She thought a lot, but couldn't come up with the right reason and slowly drifted off to deep sleep having sweet dreams of her maan...!!

It was a bright sunny morning contrary to the previous rainy night.

Maan, dev and vicky got ready for school and came down for breakfast. Vicky looked at maan from the corner of his eyes and smirked thinking geet's relevation of maan kissing her...!!

Bhai really kissed geet...??...he thought with an amused expression and thats when maan's eyes met his. Maan frowned looking at vicky's stupidly smiling vicky and thought...

Now what has happened to this moron...??

Maan shrugged it off and looked at geet's chair and murmured on finding it empty...

I told her to sleep early...!!

Vicky too noticed geet's absence and got worried and asked naina...

Mom, where is geet...??

Naina who was serving the breakfast to raj replied...

I think she is a bit tired. I went to her room and found her in deep sleeping. I tried to wake herup,but she didn't even budge, so I thought to let her sleep some more...!!

But mom, she'll be late then...vicky said frownig

I know, but let her take a day off. She seemed too tired...naina replied back.

Both naina and vicky suddenly got startled when they heard maan...

No...!!...maan interrupted

Naina gave maan a confused look to which he calmly replied...

Mom, she slept late thats why she is oversleeping and she can't miss school for its her practicles today...!!

Vicky was highly surprised with the info...hmm, so bhai keeps an eye on geet, otherwise practicle details are normally available to the class students...only...he thought

But, bhai. how will she reach school on time...??...moreover its already time for us to leave...though vicky could have easily and willingly waited for geet, but he purposely stated to know more about maan's feeling for geet. He knew maan was an epitome of punctuality and he wouldn't wait for anyone just like that.

Taking a breath maan replied...uh, you guys carry on. Geet and I will take the other car...!!

Vicky feel like jumping and doing a bhangra right infront of everyone. He was sure maan has a soft corner for geet which for some reasons he is hidding and that too after the 12th bday party of geet. He silently ate his breakfast and left with dev for school.

Maan though wanted to stay away from geet, couldn't leave her all by herself to come to school. When it comes to geet's safety nothing matters.

He looked at his watch and knew by now geet must have woken up. He finished his breakfast and told naina to ask geet to hurry up.

Geet hurriedly came down 15 minutes later and asked naina...

Aunty has everyone left...??

Oh geet you are ready...naina smiled and patted her head...are you ok beta...??

Yes aunty, but I am very late...saying so she picked her bag and was rushing out when naina stoppe her...

Geet, first finish the breakfast...!!

No aunty its already time...she turned and collided with a hard substance which to her wonder was none other than her maan. He held her hand and stablized her...

Geet, for god sake...can't you for once walk properly...he remarked frustrated at her clumsiness. She made a cute angry face and was about to retort when maan spoke again...

You can argue later. First finish your breakfast and come outside...he paused and added...I am waiting in the car...!!

Geet rushed to the table hearing maan and literally gobbled the food thinking...

Make it fast geet, else that devil will get another chance to taunt you...!!

She sat in the car and said...

Lets go, I am getting late...!!

Maan gave her a deadly glare on her sentence and she immediately corrected...

We are getting...she passed a nervous smile to maan whosimply ignored and get back into the book he was holding. Geet twisted her lips and muttered under her breath...

Mr. attitude...!!

10th B-

So geet how was your ride with yur prince charming...??...vicky nugged geet with his elbow pissing her off in her already foul mood. She shot an icy glare to vicky and replied with sarcasm...

Oh, just wonderful...!!...she made a super angry grumpy face enough for vicky to get the clue, ask further and receive another deadly kick from geet.

Hey guys...yash said coming to them...wats up...??...he turned to geet and asked cheerfully...geet, you weren't in the assembly, got late...??

Thats it geet curled her tiny palm into a small yet solid fist and punched yash right in his stomach.

Owww...he clutched his poor tummy and gave a look to geet who ignored and went to her seat while vicky gave him you-asked-for-it look...!!

Geet went to the rehersals with a grumpy face. First she was late, second though maan didn't said anything it was the first time ever he was late for school and that too bcoz of her and she was feeling really bad for it and thirdly she forgot something very important which she has yet not recalled...!!

Maan and others took their position and geet joined them. They practiced really hard as competition was near and it was a matter of prestige of DPS. They had to win.

After the exhausting rehersals maan went to his locker and poured some water on his head to cool down and wiped it off with his towel. Geet peeped inside the locker room from the door and was mesmerised again wih his partial soaked appearence. He was looking like a greek god descended from heaven for whose one look any girl would die...!!

Maan felt a soft scented breeze cross his nostril informing him about his mishty's arrival. He didnot need to look back to know that she was right there...!!

Shaking his head at her childishness he said...

Are you planning to ogle at me from the door for the whole day...??...geet felt blood rushed to her cheeks getting caught staring at him and murmered cutely pouting...

Babaji, why do you always land me in such awkward situations...??...and straightened herself getting inside slowly while maan looked at her with a straight expression.

Woh, actually...geet cleared her throat while maan rolled his eyes...

Geet could you please make it fast, I have classes...maan said in an annoyed tone

I am sorry...she instantly blurted out.

Maan forehead wrinkled...

Sorry...??...for what...??...he asked not getting her reason.

Woh, you got late for school bcoz of me...she said with her down cast eyes

Maan felt his heart skipping a beat as her honey like words entered his ears and he thought...

She is really so cute. Jhalli...!!...suppressing his smile at her concern and guilt maan came forward and looked at her with an intense gaze

Geet felt a bit timid under his piercing gaze and repeated...

I am really very sorry...sachchi...woh, I just couldn't sleep early and overslept in the morning getting late. I didn't do it purposely, I swear...I was...

Maan kept his index finger on her lips and silenced her at once...

Chup...!!...bilkul chup...!!...he said in a husky voice...

Geet you talk too much...geet felt her whole body was set ablaze with his single touch. Though she had touched him numerous times, but everytime it feels new and different and the worst part was that it was in maan's hands. He could always make her feel the way he want to. She could feel goosebumps all over body while the fear to fall any moment terrified her as she felt her limbs turned to jelly. Such was the effect maan had on her.

Maan's condition was no less. The feel of her moist supple lips under his finger aroused the irresistible sensation to taste them again. But dare he to cross his limit.

Coming back to his sense maan removed his finger from her lips at the very instant. Geet too returned from her lala land and suddenly felt very shy to look at him. An awkward silence prevailed for a moment untill maan cleared his throat to break it...

Geet, have I complained about getting late or pointed out your fault, huh...??...he asked with a calm voice

Geet nodded her head in negative and replied softly...

But you have never been late and bcoz of me today...

Maan cut her in not letting her complete and said...

Geet, it was my decision to wait so there is no need to feel sorry...seeing her sad face irked maan to the core. In order to lighten the mood he purposely made a serious tone and said...

Moreover how could I let you come alone with the driver...her eyes sparkled as his words strike her while he continued...shyamji is way too loyal and precious driver to loose.

Geet's jaw dropped to the floor hearing his last set of worlds...HOW MEAN...!!...she felt like strangling him that very moment...urgh...she hate him...!!

Maan smugly moved towards the door seeing the desired effect of his words on geet and stopped for a moment looking at her. If looks could kill maan would have been dead meat.

Geet was still in a dazed state and didn't realized maan had reached the door. Unknowingly her eyes went to the door only to find a smirking maan and before she could crib or shout he left the room...!!

Hey tie it nicely yaar...pari instructed yash to place the balloons nicely.

Why don't you do it yourself...??...yash retorted back totally annoyed by the continuous changing of balloons position.

Don't show so much attitude okay...she replied back. Yash rolled his eyes thinking "look who's talking" and continued his work.

Guys are you done...??...nt asked coming to them. Yah climed down the small ladder and replied...

Yes, finally...emphasising on finally to taunt pari who just gave I care a damn look and said excitedly...

Have you informed geet...??

Nahi duffer, its a surprise for her...nt chided her

Its a friendship day gift for her from all of us...meera said joining them

Of course yaar, after all she is our sweetest friend...vicky intervened high-fying yash.

Okay guys, take your positions I'll just bring her here...saying so vicky rushed towards the rehersal hall.

Geet was passing through the corridor cribbing all the way about maan...

Khotta, ullu da patha, monkey kahin ka, moron...babaji, why...??...of all people why you only made me fall for that devil khurana...??...she made a complaining baby face looking at the ceiling.

Vicky saw her coming from the other side and shook his head murmuring...

Must be cursing bhai...he thought rolling his eyes and stopped her when she was about to collide with him.

Doll, look where you are going...he said bringing her back

Woh, I was...forget it...geet replied irritatingly and said...

What are you doing here...??...I was coming tothe canteen only...!!

Forget about the canteen geet, I have to show you something...saying so vicky grabbed geet's hand and dragged her towards the students activity room.

As soon as they entered the room a roar of surprise echoed the whole room giving a lovely surprise to geet.

She looked at vicky with her cutest excited smile. Vicky smiled back and wished her with a warm hug...

Happy Friendship Day doll...!!

Everyone came to geet and wished her while she grinned ear to ear and slapped her forehead thinking...

This was what I was forgetting...its friendship day...!!

The room was beautifully decorated and all the friends cut a big cake. Geet quickly put the first piece in her lunch box like every year and feed her friends from the rest of the cake. Everyone was aware of geet's habit of keeping the first piece, so they never questioned her. They enjoyed their small party and left to their class.

12th A-

Maan , sam, adi and their other friends too celebrated friendship day in their classroom cutting cake and wished each other.

Hey maan what are you thinkng...??...sam asked a lost maan

Uh, nothing important...he replied getting distracted from his thoughts. Sam rolled her eyes thinking...that means he is thinking about geet,why can't he just accepts...??

Great, then why don't you eat the cake...she pointed towards the cake in his plate

Umm, yeah actually I am full, so I would eat it later...saying so maan kept the piece in his lunch box.

Sam frowned...FULL...??...but you didn't even had your lunch...??...she was confused

Uh, woh I had eaten something in the canteen before,so...!!

At that time adi joined them relishing his cake and said...

I loved this flavour, I wish we could celebrate f'day more than once in a year...!!

Sam smiled at adi's words and loving ruffled his hair saying...

Oh adi you are so cute...!!

Maan cleared his throat seeing adi blush like a bride on being touched by her husband for the first time, and said...

Guys I think its already time. We should get back to our seats...!!...Adi controlled himself hearing maan while sam whinned...

Oh come on maan, the bell hasn't rang yet...!!

Just then the bell rang and the class got back to their respective place.

KHURANA MANSION-

Maan came back to his room and instantly rushed to his table keeping his bag at its place. The thing he has been waiting for the whole day was right infront of him.

He picked up the lunch box kept on his table and the note that was lying there and read it...

Happy Friendship Day...!!

A smile instantly adorned his lips and he caressed the hand writing with utmost affection.

Opening the lunch box he chuckled at the piece of cake and whispered...

Happy Friendship Day...MISHTY...!!

Saying so he ate the cake very fondly relishing the taste...!!
