Part 77

After dinner maaneet are coming back to their room

Maan falls flat on the bed

M: ufff...it was such a long day. i am very tired

Geet didn't come to the bed. She is standing in front of the window and looking at the sky

G: (st) shukriya babaji! now all the problems are solved. Soon we are getting married officially. After that...

Suddenly maan's "kuch kuch ho raha hai" dialogue pops in her mind. Her heart beats quicken.

G: hey babaji! why i am being nervous as if this is our SR?

Maan notices that geet is still standing and lost in some thoughts

M: geet! why are you standing there? now come and sleep.

G: aap ke sath?

Maan is amused by her question. He looks at her face and understands what is going on in geet's twisted mind.

M: (st) my geet can never think straight. Abhi dekho geet

Maan starts to tease her

M: haan. Ab ajao mere paas

G: hai rabba! Main nahi aaungi

Maan rolls his eyes

M: geet! who am i?

G: Maan Singh Khurana

M: woh nahi...who am i to you?

G: my hubby

M: thanks for remembering it. Now come here

G: (st) main maanthi hu ki maan mera pathi hai. but what if something happens aise waise before our official wedding. Waise bhi...is it wrong to have SR before the official wedding? I don't think so.

Geet is shocked by her thoughts

G: (st) hey babaji! maan ke chakkar me main bilkul besharam hogayi hu. ye main kya soch rahi hu? SR before our official wedding? Nahi nahi...we shouldn't start our new life like this. we should start our life with the Ashirwads of everyone. Moreover we should abide by the social norms. Hena babaji?

Maan notices that geet is again lost in some thoughts

M: geet! tum yesa kya soch rahi ho?

G: hamare Suhaag Raat ke baare me

That is it. Maan comes close to geet in a single jump and looks straight into her eyes

M: kya kaha tumne?

Geet couldn't believe what she said just now.

G: (st) hey babaji! ye maine kya kehdiya?

she starts to shiver and moves few feet away from him. maan notices that geet's whole body is shivering. He moves toward her

G: maan! mere paas math ayiye

Geet moves backwards. Maan keeps on advancing towards her

G: maan! aage math badna

She moves backwards and obstructed by the wall behind. Maan comes close to her and locks her between his arms. Geet is breathing heavily.

G: (stammers) maan! what... are... you doing?

Maan is enjoying geet's restlessness. He decides to play a prank on her. he starts to pretend to be in desperate need of some ACTION right now.

He whispers in her ear

M: geet! ACTION speaks louder than words. let me show you in ACTION

Geet is having butterflies in her stomach.

G: maan please...

M: you were thinking about our SR na. let me help you geet

G: maan! we are yet to get married officially? We have to start our life with the ashirwad of everyone. Ab ye SR nahi ho saktha

M: acha! So you have come to a conclusion that we are going to have our SR right now. very good. I like it

G: kyaaa??????

Geet's mouth is wide opened.

Seeing geet's reaction, Maan is having a hard time in controlling his laughter.

Geet composes herself and talks

G: meri kehne ke matlab woh nahi hai maan

M: phir

G: main keh rahi thi ki SR before official wedding is wrong

M: (teases) no problem geet! let us have our official SR after our official wedding. Now let it be our unofficial SR

G: kya? unofficial SR?

M: haan

G: maan aap Maan Singh Khurana hai. aap yesa nahi kar sakthe

M: main yesa kyun nahi kar sakhta? Are you challenging my ACTION skills? Give me a chance to prove

G: chi chi babaji

Maan leans close to her. geet gathers all her strength and pushes him away from her and runs to the door and tries to open it

M: geet! ye tum kya kar rahi ho?

G: ye darwaza kholne ke koshish kar rahi hu

M: kyun?

G: i will go and sleep in dadima's room

Maan comes to her and catches her hand to stop her from opening the door. a current passes through her body.

G: maan ab aap mera haath kyun pakad rahe hai?

M: to drag you to the bed

G: kyun?

M: kyunki bed tumari pas nahi aa saktha na isiliye (courtesy: GHSP)

Maan drags her to the bed and makes her sit forcibly. Instantly geet gets up from the bed and he again pushes her down. Geet is totally helpless. She sits quietly. Maan sits beside her and looks into her eyes. she lowers down her gaze.

G: (st) hey babaji! ab main kya karu? already meri dimag kuch aise waise chal rahi hai. upar se ye bed aur hot hot maan in ACTION mood. patha nahi ab kya hoga?

M: geet! i know what you are thinking right now

Geet is super duper shocked. She stares at him with horror

G: (st) he has started to read my mind. it is very dangerous. Geet! before maan starts his ACTION you think something.

Geet squzzes her brain.

G: (st) now how to change maan's mood?

Maan is watching her reactions silently.

Some idea strikes geet's brain

G: (st) haan idea. If we watch some devotional programme, maan's mood will get changed

She takes the remote from the side table and turns on the TV

M: geet! ye tum kya kar rahi ho?

G: TV on kar rahi hu

M: kyun?

G: i am not sleepy

M: don't worry geet. main hu na... ajao i will put you in to sleep

G: dust danav

Maan smirks. Geet starts to scan through the channels.

G: (st) patha nahi...on which channel devotional programmes comes.

she keeps on scanning through the channels. Maan is watching the TV and geet alternatively.

Geet is tired of searching for devotional programme. Finally she stops on a music channel. Guys guess...what song is playing on the channel...

bheege hont tere, pyaasa dil mera

(OMG!!!! Buddies, should i write about maan's ACTIONS and geet's reACTIONS to this song. Bechari geet!...)

Maan has lost his self control. geet is terrified. She turns toward maan who is already looking at her lips.

lage abr sa mujhe tan tera

She tries to change the channel. Before she could change it, maan snatches the remote from her hand and throws it away. The song continues to play. Geet's heart is beating at lightning speed

chhamke barsaayein mujh par ghataayein

tu hi meri pyass, tu hi mera jam

Maan leans on her. geet is finding it difficult to breath. He goes to kiss her lips

kabhi mere saath koi raat guzaar

geet has lost her self control. Before he could kiss her, she hugs him passionately.

(haha...i am using the word 'Passion' for the first time in any of my FFs. Good improvement ...lol...)

tujhe subha tak main karoon pyaar

maan also hugs her passionately and plants a kiss on her shoulder. That is it. Our seedhi saadhi geet comes back to this world. she realises what they are doing. she pulls herself out of maan's embrace with a jerk. She is shocked by her ACTION

G: hey babaji! ye kya ho raha hai?

Maan is still in romantic spell. He is totally annoyed by geet's reaction to his romantic kiss. He gives her a stern look

Geet ignores his look and runs to the TV and turns off it.

G: ye kaise ajeeb Ghana hai. patha nahi isi waqt ise sunkar kya kya honewala hai

Maan stares at geet unbelievably and shakes his head

M: (st) she is impossible

Geet is still standing close to the TV and starts to give galiyaan to everyone who are all related to the song starting from the lyricist, music composer, actors, director, producer, audio company, TV channel people, TV manufacturer, TV showroom people, DTH service provider, Electricity board people. Even the inventors of TV and audio systems couldn't escape from our geet's galiyaans

Hearing geet's galiyaans, maan couldn't help himself. he bursts out into a laughter.

Instantly Geet stops her abusing business and stares at maan. she is so happy to see maan laughing his heart out. Last night geet was shattered to see maan crying like a child thinking about his mom.

Geet was thinking that it would take a very long time to see a single smile on his face. but now he is laughing his heart out. She couldn't have asked for more than this. tears gather in geet's eyes in happiness. She runs to maan and hugs him tightly.

Instantly Maan stops laughing and looks down at geet who is hugging him. he notices the tears in her eyes. he is shocked.

M: kya hua geet?

Geet comes out of his embrace and looks into his eyes. Tears roll down geet's cheeks in happiness. she is enjoying the tears that she is shedding for him. He stretches his arm to wipe away her tears. geet catches his hand and stops him.

G: rehne deejiye maan

maan is confused.

Geet stretches her other arm and caresses maan's head. He is more confused.

M: geet! kya hua?

Geet cups his face with both her hands and looks into his eyes. tears are still rolling down her cheeks. Maan couldn't understand what geet is going through right now. he keeps on starring at her tears helplessly.

Geet leans on him and kisses his forehead. Maan is super duper surprised by her kiss.

G: i love you maan

She again hugs him and maan hugs her back.

M: i love you too geet

Both are lost in the hug.

Few minutes later maan separates himself from geet and wipes away her tears

M: baath kya hai geet?

G: maan! ab main bohat kush hu

Maan can ask geet the reason for her sadness but not the reason for her happiness. He wants her to be happy for no reasons. So he didn't ask her anything else. He silently makes her lay on the bed and he himself lay beside her and pulls her into his embrace

M: good night geet

Geet closes her eyes and tries to sleep freezing maan's smiling face in her mind.
