Hello Everyone...

Important note:

I will be travelling and extremly busy till end of August...will try my max possible to give one or two updates but I doubt. Kindly cooperate with me in this regard...I will be back soon...

PART 49

Daadi listens to her quietly...she knew Geet is broken from within but she's hiding it just for the reason that Daadi's health should not get effected.

It was time for Daadi to leave from there when Geet holds Daadi's hands.

Woh..Her face dipped with embarresment...thinking about what all she spoke about her boss unknowingly his own Daadi.

Woh...I have told so many things unknowingly...Sorry Daadi.

Daadi laughts at her plight..

Geet bete...this is what I liked and enjoyed the most...This is what the reason stopping me to tell you the truth...and if at all I would have told you the truth on the first day itself, you wouldn't have shared so much fun filled incidents with me...and also we would have never been such good friends..

Yah..I am upset that you will stop telling me those things about your boss henceforth...

Geet remains silent...giving a weak smile.

At KM:

Daadi reaches KM...Annie eagerly waiting for her.

Daadi didnt know what to say...She is fine...she was asking a lot about you.

Maan enters the manscon and happened to hear their conversation.

Annie immediately leaves from that place. Daadi nodes her head and leaves from there. Annie would always hug Maan at this time when he comes back from office. But today, she's not even prepared to look at him. Daadi didnt even acknowledge his presence. After she met Geet, she's even more angry on Maan now for hurting Geet.

Daadi takes rest in her room. She had told nakul to serve food in her room. Maan finishes with his evening routines and gets into Daadi's room. Daadi had relaxed herself sitting on the bed was reading book...She closed it and got restless seeing Maan.

Maan comes close to her she turns her face making sure not to look at him

Daadima...he calls her name softly...sits next to her and holds her hand...

I really wish she would have poured her anger on me...I would have felt light...But she is not like you ... Daadi gives an agonising look at Maan...She behaved with me as if nothing ever happened.

She was more concerned about my health... and she made sure not to begin with a topic that may effect my health. She didnt even allow me to apologize for what ever happened...and you know something? Geet told me that we both (Daadi and Geet) are friends and always will remain to be one..and no body can ever change that relationship...

Daadi again turns her face.

I understand I have made a big mistake. I want to make up for what ever I have done.

Daadi replies softly...its too late Maan...its too late

Maan looks at her with guilt filled eyes

I am your Daadima and I knew well what's happening around you. I had tried to warn you so many times...try to have a control on your anger otherwise it will be too late even if you want to correct yourself...What I feared has happened now.

Its not a easy task as you think it is Maan...remember, she did speak to you once trying to know what's actually bothering you and also apologised if she has done something wrong...but you didnt listen to her that time...and now you expect her to listen to you instantly? The day begins as usual...

Geet keeps coffee at Maan's desk and leaves...she still doesnt utter a single word...no Good Morning...no smile...She is not even acknowledging his presence. Maan never expected this would effect him so much.

After finishing his coffee...Maan calls her on the intercom

Her heart beats faster not able to understand what to do...she's getting restless what to do next? She slowly takes her notepad and pen. She's shivering with the thought of getting into his cabin after that Friday incident. Geet nods for yes and gets ready to write down the things...He turns his chair facing the wall...

Its been quite sometime we both have got into business interactions...I understand there has been lack of communication from my side...

Maan remains silent for a sec...I have not been actively interacting with you...Even though you have always been loyal to Me... He again takes a break for a sec...Geet is rolling her eyes...in providing your hard work and services. Maan takes a long breath before he continues further. There's a pin drop silence for two minutes...Maan still facing the wall and Geet fighting with her tears which are threatening her to flow down her cheeks. She doesnt want to get cought getting emotional in front of her boss...

Sir...She remains quite...Maan expects her to speak something for that SORRY Which he just told her...She continues...

She turns back and her eyes glued to the floor instead of him.

She gets back to her cabin...sits for a while closing her eyes and tears falling down her cheeks...The word SORRY told by him with his soft voice having effect on her even though it was in a form of a dictation to the client. She doesnt bother much and continues typing the fax message and takes a print.

She types it when Aadi walks in...

What are you doing?

I am preparing this fax message boss has assigned me...This is the first time Boss has given me a fax message dictation.

Oh..let me read it...

Aadi reads it...

Oh Mr. Mehra is one of our old client...we have not worked with him recently...OK...I will take it...get it signed from the boss and send the fax myself...

Geet thanks God...that she need not go to her boss's cabin again because of this.

Aadi had to take signatures on few letters and documents from Maan and Aadi includes this letter as well. Maan signes on all letters as he usually does...and once signed, Aadi sends the fax to the client on his direct fax machine.

With in few minutes the fax reaches Mr. Mehra and he immediately calls Maan on his cell phone.

Maan was surprised on the coincidence...he just dictated the fax message to Geet and Mr. Mehra is calling him after long time...

Mr. Maan... I just got to read your fax message and I must say, you have really made me emotional today...

Aadi explains the plan but Maan was not sure if it will be successful

In next one hour... Aadi was decorating the center part of the office hall with lot of party decorative items, cake..snaks and lot of stuff..All staffs were confused about what's happening and why this decoration.

After sometime, there was a mike announcement made that all staff must come to the hall..All staff including Sasha-Tasha, Geet, Pinky and everyone else were present. Most of them are discussing among themselves about what's this all about...never KC has kept such a staff get together.

Maan and Aadi come over there...

Maan makes an announcement...Hello Everyone...Today is a special day for me as its a birthday of someone special and a close friend of mine...Everyone look at each other who could this special person be but actually this friend is just a fictitious carector.

But this special person is not around me at this point of time...but I would like to celebrate his Birthday today...I would like to know if there's anyone's birthday today...they can come forward and cut this cake.

The staff there are looking at each other for an answer...

Aadi speaks...Sir...no body's Birthday today...what to do?

Now all staff look at her...and Maan Speaks...Oh is it...I didnt know that...Beleted Birthday wishes Geet...

Geet stands stunned and literally skipped her heartbeat...she looks at Maan with moist eyes...and they have a emotional eye lock for a brief moment...How much she wished on that Sunday for his one birthday well wish...but it ended in such a tragedy...now his wishes doesnt seem to console her

All staff surrounding her wished her for her beleted Birthday except Sasha-Tasha...She just gives them all a weak smile...

Maan continues...Geet...cut this Birthday cake for me..

Aadi Guestures Geet to cut the cake..

Aadi Sir...I am fasting today and even if I cut this cake, I will not be tasting it...She takes a long sigh...My birthday is over... it came and went like...she keeps quite for a sec...I mean, you need to give this chance to the next person who's Birthday is due...

Please Sir...She takes the initiative to find it out from the crowd...Whose birthday next?

Again staff look at each other for an answer...and coincidently, it was Tasha's Birthday on coming week.

Geet calls for Tasha...Tasha...come forward and cut this cake for Maan Sir..

Tasha is so excited...Sasha feeling jealous with Capital "J"...Why my Birthday didnt come earlier to Tasha...

Maan is standing shocked as one more plan of his went for a toss...but happy atleast he got to wish her now...

Geet leaves from there and moves to the pantry to take water...Aadi is embarresed to the core...he follows Geet

At Pantry, Geet helping herself with glass of water...

Sir...I will never forget this Birthday in this life as I have learnt a lot of lessons

First thing first...I learnt that Birthday is just another day in your life...

Second thing I learnt is I am no longer a kid...I am 21 and I have grownup to the level where I have to act maturedly in life..Without having any expectations from this world.

It is the fact sir..I have accepted it wholeheartedly...and I no longer have a state of mind to celebrate my Birthday again in my entire life...

Layers of tears have formed in her eyes...Sir..you really dont know how it feels when you go to someone's home and you're getting thrown out like a dust...and that too when you are taking in the first sip of water in their place...She cries..And that too on Birthday...

Maan stands glued to the pantry entrance and listens to each and every word of Geet which manages to nail his heart again...the pain she's going thro is too much to handle. He immediately gets back to his cabin with such restless heart...
