Part 4:
Geet broke away from the hug when she realized what she was doing..maan was feeling
uncomfartable and there was this awkward silence..maan breaks the silence and says:
'urmm...i know we started off on the wrong foot,i mean i know that what i did
was wrong but i did that because i knew they were blaming you for no reason
and it pissed me off...i mean a girl was being blamed for no reason and they're
words ...im sorry i didnt mean to do what i did...'..Geet furiosly said:'That doesnt
give you the license to get married to the girl the people are speaking about,does it?'
Maan was ashamed and said:'Plz forgive me now..if u want i'll get the divorce papers
ready and this marriage can be over'..his heart pained while saying those
words he didnt know why..Geet said:'So,people can make more fun of me?and now u
want to prove them right do you?that no one will marry me?you want to destroy
my life more?..her words pierced him like arrows and he wanted to tell her no
he didnt want her to face pain he wanted to make her life colourful and joyful..
he wanted to stand on the thorns and make her walk on the flowers...he wanted
to stay with her forever...he said urgh what am i thinking?she's a stranger,i know
i complicated her life but that doesnt mean i do all these things i'll make her stay
happy and comfortable let her life her life and i'll live mine...and he told Geet:'I'm
sorry...i didnt mean that..and i guess u must be tired...so here u go'..he gave her
the clothes and told her where the bathroom was she quietly went to the bathroom
once in there she went through what happened and started crying...and said:'Rahul,
im sorry..that wont happen again...i will make this guy's life hell..how dare he even
touch me i have given u my everything Rahul...m..y..she wanted to say my
body,my heart and my soul but she couldnt say these words she wondered why and
said maybe too much tension and ignored it she changed and went out..in the room
maan was thinking how come i havent even thought of sameera once..since i saw geet
whats happening to me?Am i over sameera already?What is this feeling i have
towards Geet?..ahh...he thought im tired i'll wake up in the morning and think
about all this and goes down takes a mat and blanket plus a pillow and lies down..
geet comes in he tells her:'You can sleep on the bed without any worries i wont do any
thing,i promise'..she didnt know why her heart was forced to believe him...she knew
he was telling the truth as she was not afraid of being with a stranger in a strange
house she went and slept on the bed..she knew sleep wont come to her..she started
remembering all her moments with rahul and silently wept she didnt know when
sleep overtook her..late night she started dreaming of rahul's accident and muttering
his name'rahul,rahul'..suddenly she started screaming rahul's name and sweating..maan
woke up all scared and saw geet he went by her side and called her name but she
was still screaming and sweating..maan couldnt control any longer he took her in
his arms and consoled her saying:'Geet..shh...dont worry your safe your maan is with
you geet...'..he stopped he just realized what he said and thought Wat d hell?
Maan sameera has turned you into a mad person you go calling stangers yours and
tell strangers your their's?..what's with you dude?..Control!!!
But suddenly he feels a smile forming against his chest..he looks down too see Geet
smiling..Geet was smiling she didnt know why?..but she felt safe in whoever's arms
she was in.. she knew no one could hurt her now...and rahul's memories layed far back
now all she wanted was to stay in these arms..:)..(is this love?)
And maan didnt know he feel asleep like that with geet in his arms and her head on
his chest...they fell asleep peacefully:)
In the morning the sun rays disturbed geet she got up and smiled and saw maan's
smiling face and smiled more deeply with her dimples showing...while staring at maan
she murmers:'i know maan you care for me...but what is that i feel for you?
Care?i care for you?'..she got out of the trance as soon as rahul's memory came
back to her and she remembered everything and pushed maan away from herself
and got up and screamed:'how dare you,how dare you come close to me..you?'..maan
got up and wondered why she was screaming..and asked:'Geet,what happened?..what
did i do?'..she shouted back at him:'What..you're asking me what you've done...
you took advantage of me..you shared the same bed i had some respect for you
yesterday but after this you have lost all my respect and trust i had for you'and
stormed off...maan had tried to explain to her...he ran after her..and pulled her
with her hand towards him she bumped in his chest and said:'I didnt do anything
wrong u were screaming last night i came to see what was wrong u were sweating
so i consoled you and u slept against me if i moved u would scream again thats why
had to sleep with you otherwise i had no joy in doing so'.She felt ashamed and said:
'Plz..leave me'..and maan left her and she stormed out...he regretted what he did
and went to the bathroom...after finishing his shower he remembered he had forgot
his towel in the room and was going to go take it when he thought what if Geet is
in the room i cant go like this..and he said as nicely as possible:'Geet,if you're there
would u pass my towel and some clothes from the cupboard..plz..because i've kinda
forgot to bring it...Geet..plzz..Geet..'...Geet feeling bad for the morning incident
though why not and said:'Okay...'..she got his towel from him and knocked on the
door to give it to him he streched his hand to get it and held her hand by mistake too
and pulled it thinking it was the towel and geet was standing calmly so she was pulled
with the towel and the door opened she stumbled towards maan and banged in his
chest maan was completly unaware and fell backwards the shower was on and both
off them fell into it...geet was against his chest..maans arms were around her waist
her hands on his chest...both were getting wet due to them being in the shower
and they stood like that eyes locked together...their hearts were racing maan bent
his head closer to geet's..geet closed her eyes slightly parting her lips maan bend his
head towards her and closed his eyes...
AND 'BOOM BOOM'
there was a loud knock on the door..and both of them stepped out of the trance and
geet was cursing herself so was maan and minute by minute the knocking
got louder...and
So who's at the door?
What are they..falling for each other?
