Maan rushed to the door after stepping out of his car and rang the bell with great urgency. In the few seconds which geet took in opening the door, maan went through hell. All soughts of thoughts crossed his mind in those few moments. He was dreading each milli second. The very thought of geet being in danger stabbed his heart mercilessly.

As the door opened, maan barged inside and embraced geet in a bone crushing hug. Geet choked in his hold as his arms were caging her in a steel grip. She could feel the pounding of his erratic beats against her heart. She didn't quite understood the reason for his restlessness, but knew he was emotionally very disturbed and highly worried.

His condition aroused a pain in geet's heart and she reciprocated his hug by soothing his back with a comforting hand. She kept caressing his back and hair assuring him that everything will be alright.

Maan felt a great sense of relief on feeling his life so close to him, in his arms. He didn't break the hug convincing his heart that his life was safe.

Maan, I am fine...geet softly said realizing the reason of his tension and tried to break the hug.

Her voice brought maan back to his senses making him realise the strength of his grip...

Oh, I am sorry...he released her but didn't increase the distance between them...Geet, tum thik ho...??...what happened...??...why did you called me so urgently...he paused checking her whether she is alright...I got so scared...!!

Maan, I am perfectly fine, see...!!...she replied and asked him to relax.

But you sounded so worried and panicy...he asked geet

Bcoz, she is worried about her sister, jiju...pinky replied instead of geet.

Pinky...??...he turned towards her and asked...when did you came...??

Just half an hour ago...she replied and looked at geet with a frowning face...geet asked me to get some info...!!

Maan looked from pinky's frowning face to geet and asked knitting his brows...what info...??

Why don't you ask her, she'll explain you well...pinky's voice clearly showed her disagreement with geet.

Whats the matter geet...??...maan asked with a tone of authority

Maan, woh...I...she fumbled to place the info in proper words before him. Maan looked at her narrowing his eyes and asked again...

Geet, I am asking you something...she looked into his eyes and answered in a low voice...

I asked pinky to get all the information about sameera.

What...??...maan stared at her incredulously...are you out of your mind...??...he felt a burning rage course through his vein as he remebered what her so called "sister" did with geet...how can you even think about her, let alone worry, after what she did to you...??

But maan, yeh bhi toh ho sakta hai ki ranjit misguided her or forced her to do what she did...she tried to reason, but maan was not ready to believe

Geet, you feel everyone is as innocent as you, but it is not so. There are people with grey shades, infact majority of them and this time I am not letting you face any such people...he retorted

Sameera is my sister maan, though she doesn't consider me as one, but I do and I'll fulfill my duty as a sister till I am alive...geet replied with determination while maan shut his eyes frustrated on her stubborness.

Geet, why don't understand, what if she tries to harm you again...??...what if she revealed your presence to ranjit or that ronak...??...maan tried to convince, but geet didn't relent.

Maan, she is in danger and I have to help her out...geet said pleadingly, but was interrupted by pinky this time...

Geet it is not necessary that ranjit is keeping her with him against her wishes...pinky said and paused and then continued...ho sakta hai...ho sakta hai, she is with him willingly...!!

Nahi pinky, sam may be modern, fashionable and rude, but our father had instilled in us certain consecration( sanskar) which I am sure she would never defy...geet replied with confidence.

Maan let out a loud sigh and asked...what do you want to do...??

Maan, I just want her free from that demon's clutches...geet replied

But still geet, what if sameera is with him willingly...??...maan asked looking at her

I can only say one thing that she will never love her father's murderer. I am sure, she has been manipulated...!!

Geet is right sir...adi spoke as soon as he entered the hall gaining their attention

Adi, when did you came back from London and how do you know...??...maan asked baffled on seeing adi

Sir, geet is saying the truth. Those brothers are worse than any lowlife on earth...adi said disgusted with the piece of information he was going to convey...they can go to any extent for money...!!

Its about the day when I had to leave for London, I needed some file so had to come back to office. After getting the file, I was passing through ronak's cabin when I...adi hesitated and looked at maan and geet while maan signalled him to continue...I heard them talking about sameera and geet...!!

He told them how ranjit was using sam just for his lust and was planning to throw her out of his life soon. Geet gasped in horror and disbelief as she heard adi mentioning about sam being ranjit's keep. She knew her sister would never cross her boundries before marraige and was convinced that there is definitely something very wrong.

See, I told you that girl is not trustworthy let alone cultured...maan spat in disgust

No maan, I know my sister. Sam will never do such a thing...geet said with tears brimming her eyes...please , let me meet her just once. I know there is some misunderstanding...she pleaded.

Geet, control yourself, you know I can't stand your tears. It hurts me a lot...maan said wiping her tears and engulfing her in a hug while geet cried keeping her head on his chest.

Adi looked at geet and felt really bad for her. The girl had suffered so much and yet the problems don't leave her way. But he knew he had to convey the full message which is much more important than sameera. He cleared his throat to catch their attention and said...

Sir, there is one more thing I wanted to inform, which is of much grave concern...

Maan broke the hug and held geet in a side hug...what is it adi...??

Sir, as they were talking about sam, ronak's cell rang and from his conversation it seemed he was talking to some detective...he said and adjusted his spectacle

Detective...??...maan frowned deeply at this piece of information...but why...??

That is the reason to worry sir...adi glanced at geet who looked equally confused and said...they know about geet being alive...!!

WHAT...??...maan's breath got stuck in his throat as adi uttered those words...but how...??...when...??...he was shocked out of his wits. Geet was no less, she too felt a strange fear ran through her spine at this. Her hands automatically clutched maan's out of fear.

That I don't know sir, but the way he was talking about geet, I felt he will not rest until he found her...!!

NO...!!...maan shouted but calmed down as soon as he felt geet's grip tightened on his hand...I'll not let that happen...he said looking at geet assuringly who looked quite disturbed at the relevation.

Geet, don't worry, even if he knows about you I'll not let him come anywhere near you, I promise...he said blinking at her and turned towards adi

Adi why didn't you told me before...??...its been a week, anything could have happened...maan said in an angry tone

Sir, I had to catch the flight within an hour and I tried calling you a lot, but your cell was out of reach and then after reaching London, I got so much busy with the work that I didn't had any time to call...I am really sorry sir...he apolozised with his head hung low

Okay, whatever happened forget it and listen to me carefully. Did you got the work done for which you went to London...??

Yes sir, here are the papers...adi handed him a file and said...the london branch has been transfered in your name and soon you will be getting the rights over KM back...!!

The frown on maan's face lessened and he nodded lightly...good...!!

He fished out his mobile from his pocket and dialed a number...

Okay,send it to the address which I mailed you...saying so he disconnected the call and went to his room. Others waited patiently for maan's return and saw him coming back with his laptop. He logged in and read the newly arrived mail. A grim expression masked his face as he scrolled through the pages. After completing his work, he shut down and kept the laptop aside.

He came to geet and said in a soft voice...you want to meet your sister, right...??

Geet nodded and looked at him hopefully, but got tensed with his next question...

Even if ranjit is cheating and using her, how will you prove it to her...??

She lowered her gaze and mumbled in a low voice...I don't know...!!

Hmm, but I know...maan said on which geet's raises her head instantly.

Sameera fixed her dress properly infront of the mirror and said...I'll be back in a day or two, ranjit...!!

Ranjit came forward and snaked his arms around her waist...I know dear, but I am gonna miss you...he said nuzzling into her hair.

Yeah, I know...ranjit bid her goodbye and turned around with a devlish smirk on his face. He took out his mobile and punched some number...

Hello, yes sweetheart...I am waiting for you...saying so he cut the call and leaned over his bed with the same smirk and said...I'll really miss you sam, so have to find a replacement as you won't be returning back ever...saying so he let out an evil laughter which filled the whole room...!!

Meanwhile as sam came out of her building, a van stopped near her and someone pulled her in. She was taken to a building and thrown on the rough ground of the deserted parking area, harshly. She was extremely terrified and scared and saw three people nearing her. She crawl back fearing their intention and pleaded them to leave her...

The men just laugh at her condition and one of them tied her hands and legs with a rope. She tried to protest, but could do nothing more than crying at her helplessness.

The man standing beside her took out his phone and called someone...

Sam got even more scared hearing his conversation and cried for help...

Scream as much as you can, but no one will save you...the man said and slapped her hard making her lips bleed. He came forward with a knife and place it on her neck, gazing her with lustfull eyes...

If I hadn't been ordered to kill you, I would have loved to keep you with me...he said tracing his finger on her jaw line

Plaes leave me, what have I done to you that you want to kill me...??...sam asked crying incessantly

You haven't done anything, but I have got money to kill you and I can't disappoint my boss...he said and brought the knife closer to her. Sam was horrified hearing that. Someone wants to kill her, but who...??...how much she wished ranjit was here to save her...??

She shut her eyes tight seeing the man ready to attack her, but snapped open them hearing a sound of bullet and the man's shriek. Soon the other three were killed and some men entered the area. She got more terrified seeing them, not knowing whether they were friends or foe. One of them came to her and released her from the rope.

Are you alright, ma'am...??...he asked supporting her to get up

Sam nodded and asked...who are you...??

They are my men...sam heard the voice and looked int he direction to find maan singh khurana standing right infront of her. Her eyes widened with shock for she knew he was dead.

Aap...??...she asked weakly

Yes, if you want to live, come with me...he said and moved towards his car.

Sameera sat in his car and they reached the penthouse. She was still shaken and petrified, but followed him quietly. The door opened and there she got another shock, her very sister was standing at the door, who was also dead till now...!!

Sam looked from maan to geet as if seeing ghost, while geet's eyes sparkled with happiness on seeing her sister after so long. She flung her arms around her and enveloped her into a bear hug...!!

Sam, who was in a state of shock didn't register what was happening and passed out unable to bear the stress.

Sam...??...Oh my god, what happened...??...geet shrieked as sam stumbled down. She looked at maan who appeared not very much affected and said...maan, what happened to her...??...call the doctor...!!

Don't worry geet, she is just stressed out and will come around in sometime...he didn't really felt any pity for her. Geet shot an angry glare to maan...stop behaving so insensitively, she is sick for godsake...!!

Fine...!!...maan lifted sam and carried her to the guest room beside geet's room.

He picked up his cell and called a doctor who lived nearby. In 10 minutes the doctor arrived and checked sam...

She is pregnant...the doctor declared giving a shock to geet while maan escorted him out after asking about her health and taking the required medicines.

He returned and found geet caressing sam's forehead and shook his own head at her magnanimity. He went to the kitchen to make some coffee for himself and tea for geet.

Meanwhile sam stirred and opened her eyes and recalled the incidents that took place an hour ago. She looked at geet and asked...

What happened...??

You fainted...she replied and paused...how are you feeling now...??

Suddenly sam remembered something and got up enraged...

You are alive...??...she said with accusing eyes...how can you live after killing my father...??...she said in a harsh tone

Sam, I haven't done anything, trust me...geet said feeling hurt

Its not that, ronak and ranjit are behind all this. Ranjit had killed papaji...geet tried to tell her the truth, but sam got more angry...

Don't you dare talk rubbish about my ranjit. He is innocent and very good not like you who betray people who love you unconditionally...sam's words were piercing geet's heart and tears made their way down her cheeks.

MISS SAMEERA HANDA...maan roared as he heard sam's last comment for geet...don't you dare talk like that with my geet...!!

Mr. khurana,I am very thankful to you that you saved my life. I thought you would have recognised the true colours of geet after I told you the truth, but you still believe this bitch...sam said in an offending tone breaking maan's patience.

SHUT UP...!!...I'll not tolerate a single word against my geet...!!

Maan please, calm down. Sameera needs rest...geet said gulping down her tears...she is pregnant...!!

Sameera's head snapped towards geet as she heard her words...what...??...what did you said...??

Yo...you are pregnant sameera...geet replied lowering her gaze while sam smiled delightedly...

Oh god...!!...really...??...I am so happy. I should inform ranjit, he'll be ecstatic...she blurted forgetting her fight for the moment.

Oh really...??...maan said tauntingly...go ahead and call him. I am sure he'll be shocked, if not ecstatic...!!

He was the one who send those goons to kill you...maan replied crossing his arms against his chest

What...??...Mr. khurana, its true I am oblized to you, but that doesn't mean you'll go on saying whatever you feel like...sam said enraged

I knew it you won't believe me, so I have got the proofs...saying so maan came near her and hand over the recording in which ranjit was giving money to the goons to kill sameera...!!

No, this isin't true...sam shook her head disbelievingly and the camera slipped from her hand.

Thats what geet was trying to tell you. That man is a murderer, he killed your father and put the blame on geet and you were foolish enough to believe him...maan spat while geet felt bad for sameera.

Sam, how could you think, I can harm papaji in anyway. He was my father too...geet said holding sam's hand...how can you let that evil man touch you whose hands are smeared with our father's blood and that too without marraige...!!

Sam cried silently realizing her mistake, no not mistakes, but sin. How could she...??...she asked herself and could only muttered this...

He is my husband...!!

Hey Anu,

Nice Update.

I knew it, Geet called Maan worried for her foolish sister who never cared for the blessing God bestowed on her in form of a loving & considerate sister like Geet.

Pinky & Maan hate the idea of Geet in proximity with sam but for Geet's sake Pinky got the information & surely Maan has some proofs of Ranjit's infidelity in hand & free Sam from Ranjit's claws.

Sam realized her mistake but very late. She is married to Ranjit? Well I guess, that was a secret marriage for sam & fake one for Ranjit & that's why sam was pestering him for marriage so that society will know.
