G: Maan! aap mujse kabhi door math jayiye

Maan tightens the hug and he is lost in the moment.

After few minutes he comes out of the trance and releases Geet from his embrace. Geet is silently staring at him and waiting for him to talk something. But Maan could not understand how he is feeling right now. he is in such a confused state. He feels that he can neither keep Geet with him nor live without her. Geet's words are kindling his feelings which he had been suppressing for the past 2 years.

M: (st) ye mujhe kya horaha hai? control yourself Maan

G: Maan!

Maan is in such a vulnerable state. He is losing his self confidence that he can stay away from Geet. not wanting to let the situation out of his control, he tries to keep quiet

M: sojao Geet

G: i am sorry Maan

M: (st) why is she saying sorry?

Maan looks into her eyes.

G: i should not have ignored you like that since morning

M: (st) i myself want to stay away from Geet. but when she ignores me, why it hurts this much? Love is strange

He smiles to himself at his thought

G: i should have informed you where i was going. hereafter i won't go anywhere without informing you. i am sorry Maan

Maan is staring at Geet's face lovingly. Geet did not notice this. she takes Maan's mobile and starts to register her number in Maan's mobile. Maan did not notice what she is doing. he keeps on staring at her.

G: Maan! i am saving my number in your mobile

Maan notices an hairlock which is disturbing Geet's face. he stretches his arm to remove it. Geet is still looking down at Maan's mobile and typing. so she did not notice what Maan was trying to do. When Maan is about to touch her hairlock, Geet herself removes it from her face. Maan is super duper disappointed and he immediately withdraws his arm. But Geet did not notice this too. She keeps on typing and talking. Maan turns his gaze away from her

G: Maan! i am saving my brothers' mobile numbers and my maika's landline number also. Whenever you get a feeling that i may be in some trouble, you just ring me. but i promise you, i will never give you a chance to feel like that

Geet lifts her head up, looks at him and gives his mobile to him.

G: Maan! ye lejiye aap ka mobile

Maan silently takes his mobile from Geet's hand and puts it on the side table. Geet is expecting a reply from him

G: Maan! kuch boliyena

M: sojao Geet

(OMG!!! Ye MSK bhi na? "sojao Geet" instead of saying this, better he could have stuck to his Mauna Vrat)

Saying this, Maan lays on the bed and closes his eyes.

G: (st) Maan! i will make you overcome this fear soon.

Next day...

Time is 9.30 am

Geet is still sleeping

Maan gets ready for office and comes to Geet

M: (st) why is Geet still sleeping? Is she not feeling well?

Maan checks her temperature

M: (st) temperature is normal only

M: Geet!

But our kumbakharni Geet is in deep sleep. so there is no reply from her

M: Geet!

G:...

Maan smiles

M: (st) Geet and her non-stop sleep!!

Not wanting to disturb her, Maan leaves for office.

@ 11.30am @ Maan's cabin

As Maan did not hear Geet's voice since morning, he is restless. He could not control himself from the urge of hearing her voice atleast. He keeps on staring at his mobile and expecting that Geet will call him once she wakes up.

M: ye Geet bhi na? Time is 11.30. why didn't she call me? is she still sleeping? if she participates in a sleeping contest, no one can beat her. kitne so rahi hai wo. Bina uski awaaz sunkar, yahan main kitna pareshan horaha hu

Maan tries to do some work. But he couldn't concentrate

After few minutes...

Maan closes his eyes and starts chanting

M: Geet wake up! utao! Geet wake up soon! i am waiting...wake up

Adi walks into Maan's cabin and notices that MSK is murmuring something with his eyes closed

Adi: (st) ye Maan sir kya kar rahe hain?

Adi comes close to Maan, bends down and tries to hear what Maan is murmuring. Now adi's ear is barely few inches away from Maan's mouth. Maan's eyes are still closed. As Maan did not know what adi is doing, he keeps on chanting

M: please Geet...i am impatiently waiting ...sirf ek baar...sirf ek bar...call karo...

Hearing Maan's chanting, adi couldn't help himself. He starts to laugh loudly

Adi: hehehe...hehehe...

Maan is shocked and he opens his eyes with a jerk. Now Maan's lips almost touches adi's ear. Maan is more shocked to see adi's face that close to his. Maan moves his face away from adi's.

Adi is also shocked to death. He freezes in his position. That is he is still bending down and his face is few inches away from Maan's. Maan is confused and annoyed by this

M: (shouts) adi! ye tum kya karne ke koshish kar raha ho?

Adi: sir...wo..wo...

M: now move away from me and stand straight

Adi realises that his face is so close to Maan.

Adi: sorry sir

Maan rolls his eyes

M: (shouts) sorry baath me kaho. Ab mujse dur jao...jaldi

Adi: ji sir

Finally adi moves his face away from Maan's and stands straight. Maan is relieved

M: (st) donno...what this adi is upto? I know that he is closely watching my activities. But i never imagined that he would watch me this closely

Adi is shivering in fear. Maan is looking at adi as if he is going to kill him right now

M: (st) adi would have heard my murmurs about Geet. hena? ye Geet ke chakkar me main aaj kal kya kya kar raha hu. Maan! khud ko control karo

Adi: (st) ab main kya karu? Maan sir is going to kill me right now

Maan composes himself and shouts at adi

M: adi! why did you come into my cabin?

Adi: sir! Wo..wo...i need your signature

M: where? On your face?

Adi: hehehe

M: stop it

adi: sorry sir, i need your signature in this file

M: then what was the need to bring your face so close to me?

Adi: sir...wo..

Maan rolls his eyes

M: file do

Adi gives the file and Maan signs it and gives the file back to adi

M: ab jao

Adi is still standing there. Maan is more annoyed

M: arey jao

Adi turns to leave. Maan thinks that adi will tell this news to dadima and he stops him

M: ek minute adi

Adi: ji sir

M: don't think that your lunch news update is ready. Do you understand what i am talking?

Adi is shocked

Adi: (st) has Maan sir found out about my free news service to dadima?

M: tum yesa kya soch raha ho?

Adi: kuch nahi sir

M: nahi na? Ab jao

Adi leaves Maan's cabin

Maan takes a deep breath and again stares at his mobile.

M: why Geet is not calling me? is anything wrong with my mobile?

Maan shakes his mobile, keeps it close to his ear, checks if he could hear any noise from it and again stares at the mobile display.

He rings his mobile number from the landline phone. It works

M: my mobile is working. So there is nothing wrong with my mobile. hena?

(but dear MSK, definitely there is something wrong with you...haha..)

Maan realises he is doing some stupid things and he puts down the mobile on table and tries to concentrate in office work.

An hour later...

Maan could not concentrate in anything. he again takes his mobile and starts his staring session. But Geet did not call him.

M: time is 12.30. is she still sleeping?

Maan thinks to call the mansion's landline number and talk to Geet. But a thought about chandu's welcome message ("hello...very warm good morning sir...welcome to Khurana Mansion...and this is Chandu on the line...may i know whom am i talking to?" ) comes to Maan's mind.

M: What if chandu attends the call? no Maan! don't call the mansion's landline number. donno...who is teaching these stupid things to chandu?

Finally, because of our Chandu bhaiya Maan drops the idea of calling the mansion's landline

M: ab main kya karu?

Suddenly Geet's words comes to his mind "Maan! i am saving my number in your mobile". a bulb flashes on Maan's head

M: acha hua! Geet has saved her number in my mobile. Now i can call Geet directly and talk to her with out going through this Chandu channel

Maan starts to search for Geet's number in his mobile's phonebook. but there was no number in Geet's name. Maan is disappointed and confused

M: Geet told me na...she is saving her number in my mobile. but her name is not in the phonebook. Where her number has gone?

He thinks for few seconds...

M: Geet would have commited some spelling mistakes while typing. I will check once again..

Maan again checks the phone book and reads all the names that starts with "G"

M: Gangadhar, Gopal das, Govind patel, GURMEET CHOUDHRY, Gurvinder...

Again Maan could not find Geet's number in the "G" list

M: (st) Geet's name is not in the "G" list. Ab main kya karu?

He again thinks for sometime..

M: (st) what are the other possibilities of making a mistake while typing the name "Geet"?

Maan starts to replace G in Geet with all the alphabats one after the other

M: Aeet?...no..no

M: Beet? ...ye tho vegetable ka naam hai

M: Ceet?...Deet?...Eeet?...Feet?...Maan! tum pagal hogaya kya? would Geet type her name as Feet?

He continues...

M: what next? ...Geet?...no no...i have already checked for Geet. it is not there. So what next?...Ieet? no no...it sounds so weird. Next...Jeet?

A smile borns on his lips

M: yes! I have found out it. It is Jeet. G and J are sounding so similar na? So Geet would have saved her name as Jeet. Hena?

Maan takes his mobile hurriedly and checks in the phonebook for the name "Jeet". But he could not find this name too. He is once again disappointed

M: Jeet is also not there in phonebook?

Maan starts to curse himself

M: Maan! it is all your fault only. Last night when she was saving her number in your mobile, instead of concentrating on it, you were drooling over Geet na? Now you deserve this...idiot

Maan again looks at his mobile

M: In what name Geet would have saved her number?

Finally, Maan's mobile rings and he reads the caller's name with a smile

M: Mrs. MSK

He jumps in joy
