Nidha was feeling very upset with last night. The party turned into a sour note. Her best friends Aysha and Fiza had fallen out over a guy of all people. Their long friendship was in danger of ceasing to exist now. Fiza was an emotional mess having lost Aysha and now she'd lost the respect for Armaan a guy she really cared about. Nidha had to get her friends back together again. She'd set Anky, Sanjana to deal with Fiza while Nidha and Sur were responsible for dealing with Aysha. It was high time this misunderstanding got cleared.
Nidha got out of her house to meet with the girls in a coffee shop near their College where Nidha spotted Virain with his cousin Virat hollering her over-Oh Hi! What are U doing here?
Virain winked at Nidha-Following U! No i can here for a take away coffee. Jay and his brother Neel wanted the strong stuff and obviously the lazy boys had us doing the buying as usual.
Nidha tried to watch Jay from the shop window but struggled to see him.
Virain knew right away what Nidha was searching for-So U want to meet me up later on in the Poison Ivy Club. I usually don't go clubbing but i thought i might take a break. It will give us all a chance to let our hair down. I might bring your angry friend with me too.
Nidha wanted Jay there-Sure but tonight is a no. I have issues to deal with.
Virain understood-U mean the spat over truth or dare? The girls will be fine after they calm down. Its not worth breaking up over a guy. We aren't worth it. Friendship is what counts. I think this is what U need to tell your friends. It is they who will be there for U in the long run. Boyfriends come and go but friends for life they only happen to lucky ones. If U get my drift.
Nidha hugged Virain for his pep talk-Thanks. U really brightened my day after last night's debacle. U really are a smart man.
Virat joked-Smart i don't know about that but he sure has a big head.
Virain pretended to choke holding his chest-Oh please. You're just jealous a pretty girl like Nidha hugged me and gave me a compliment.
Virat enquired-So wheres Sur?
Nidha beamed-They are on their way here.
Jay heard all the conversation with his sharp hearing. Nidha was in the coffee shop hugging Virain and complimenting him. How could Virain invite her to Poison Ivy? She said yes as well. Damn her and damn him for caring. Shoot what was with this girl? Virain was making the moves on his girl. How dare he? Jay got out of the car into the coffee shop staring at Virain to back off while Nidha simply ignored Jay's eyes. They were a little scary right now and his face appeared thunderous.
Jay curtly asked-What's taking U so long?
Virain laughed at the obvious-Oh guess who we bumped into? Nidha from last night. I swear U had a few tongues wagging. U definitely have the moves. Make sure U come tomorrow. I'll be waiting with my friends. (To the shop assistant) Anything Nidha is ordering is on me. Put it on my tab i'll clear it when i come back.
Nidha smiled back-No! I can pay my own way.
Virain insisted-iTS A TREAT FOR ALL OF u GIRLS oK. Now don't decline my friendly offer or i will be very offended.
Virat waved-See U tomorrow.
Virain-Good luck with your friend.
Nidha nodded watching them go.
Virain to Jay-U coming?
Jay pointed 1 minute and saw Nidha grab her coffees helping her out-I'm sorry about last night. I didn't realise the problems one game would cause. I thought it was harmless fun.
Nidha sat down with the coffees at her reserved table-I know. Its just one of those things. U can go now. Your friends are waiting.
Jay watched Nidha lost in thought-Don't worry your freinds are stronger than all this. They'll patch things up.
Nidha frowned-I don't get U Jay. U were so cold to me. Avoiding me like i had some disease and now your here. What do U want?
Jay admitted-Your friendship. Your forgiveness. I don't know why i have to have it but i don't want U to be mad at me.
Nidha probed observing Jays eyes-Why?
Jay furthered-I know i hurt your feelings Nidha but i don't know how to act around U ok? I am fine with other girls but U just make me feel so intimidated. There i said it. For some reason your opinion of me matters.
Nidha crossed her arms-Why should it matter? I am a nobody remember?
Jay found this a little infuriating-U are a somebody to me Nidha. I behave the way i do because i have something wrong with me. I have a short fuse. When i saw U with Virain last night i was this close to beating him up.
Nidha's face grew dark-U were? Why?
Jay blurted-Because I hate the thought of another guy touching U. Is this what U want to hear?
Nidha found herself smiling-Why?
Jay got up fast-Is this the only question U can ask me WHY? I don't know why? I have said too much. I'll see U around.
Nidha held Jays hand abruptly-Jay if U ever find the answer to why U feel like this then let me know! U might be surprised. (See's Aysha, Sur entering the coffe shop.) Hey girls over here. Bye Jay.
Sur hugged Nidha giving her the whats going on look giggling.
Nidha rolled her eyes and saw Jay look over to her before stepping out of the shop.
