Geet extends out her hand and says, "Hello".
Yash just looked at her not being able to believe who was standing right in front of his very own eyes. It had been years since he last saw her. She looked so different and there was a different spark and twinkle inside her eyes.
Geet a little hurt and offended brings her hand back. Mr.Chopra didn't understand his odd behavior either.
But he finally broke the icy situation by asking, "tum mujhe pehchana nahi . . ."

Geet looked on confused . . .
I don't blame you . . . lekin I will say one thing how did you lose so much weight laddoo?"
Geet almost gasps and her eyes widen not being able to believe her ears or eyes. Her drink in her hand slips from her fingers and glass pieces splatter all over the floor. "Romeo . . ." she emotionally mutters.
He nods for a yes . . . one tear falls out of her left eye and then the right eye, but her face still had the shocked expression.
He wipes her tears away with his fingers and nods his head for a "no" . . . " I am sorry . . . I am so sorry laddoo" he says before embracing her in a tight hug.
Again silence filled the air. People were like is this a love triangle, who is the third guy?
Maan had witnessed everything from the point he asked her ladoo. He whispers "Romeo" and looks over to him who was wiping away his Geet's tears and then "laddoo" who was hugging this person with so much love and concern. He looks away disgusted, he couldn't bare Geet in anyone else's arms. They already had nicknames for each other too.
Oh poor Mr. Chopra he was stuck in the middle again not knowing what to do. He sees Maan and calls him over. "Mr. Khurana why don't you join us."
He walks over close to Geet's side as if trying to make a statement to Yash. Geet was kind of surprised by his actions, but didn't say anything not as if she mined at all.
" Oh Mr.Khurana it is nice to finally meet you and work with you as well" Yash says stretching out his hand.
Maan just gives him a silent look, but then finally does extend his hand. Yash felt some strange hold in his hand, but he brushes it off.
Mr. Chopra: Okay I will leave you guys to catch up. I need to see some other people.
Maan: So "Mr. Romeo" it looks like you already know "Miss Laddoo" here.
Yash started to laugh, which Maan didn't get. He didn't say anything funny for him to be laughing like that.
Geet was smiling now too at Maan's comment.
Maan: Did I say something funny?
Yash: This girl you see in front of you is not any ordinary girl. Who ever has her in their life is a very lucky person. When you are by her side you unknowingly have a smile on your face. Take it from someone who knows.
Geet weakly chuckles at Romeo, " That Geet you knew is dead Romeo"
" My presence tends to torment people now" she says looking at Maan with pain in her eyes.
She looks back at Romeo with both pain and anger and says, "but how would you know when you left us . . . left me!"
She runs away as her past memories start to resurface again. Yash excuses himself from Maan and starts to follow after Geet. Maan just stood there with many emotions going through him at once. Who was this "Romeo" in Geet's life?
He tried to connect the pieces. " That Geet is dead!" Geet's words echoed in his ears. There was something very familiar about that phrase as if he read it somewhere.
"How would you know when you . . . left me" again echoed in his head. Oh my God. A light bulb almost felt like it lit above his head, but at the same time his heart felt like bursting to pieces.
Romeo was the same person who broke Geet's heart. In her journal there was a picture of a smiling geet that had a full of life glisten in her eyes and under had said, " This geet is dead because of you". Now this person "Romeo" has come out of nowhere wiped her tears and apologized to her.
Maan hand's turned into fists again. So easily she forgave him for breaking her heart. He was wrong this whole time. He was WRONG.
He had thought Geet and him had a connection that made them understand each other in a different level and that was how they both had gotten their heart's broken by their first love . . . that they were filled with the same hate for love . . . filled with the same pain, desperation, and feeling of loneliness.
This whole time he had stopped himself from accepting Geet and his love for her because he couldn't forgive Sam and what she did to him and what "Love" did to him the first time. . . but Geet was hugging him and smiling with him as if everything . . . every pain he had given her never happened. . . dissolved with his mere presence and simple apology.
Somewhere in his mind he was a little happy for not allowing himself to accept Geet, because what if she had turned her back on him right now when she saw her Romeo. His heart would have shredded into a million pieces.
Was he a rebound for geet then? She never actually really loved him? She was waiting for her Romeo to come after her this whole time? So many questions were running through him at the moment. Not knowing what to understand as the truth . . . but he knew one thing that Geet and him no longer had any connection. He was filled with so much rage at the moment and instead of completely thinking this through he just accepted this as the truth.

Geet went out to the balcony. She was filled with joy that she had found Romeo. He was her brother Rahul's best friend, but their relationship was stronger more like brothers. Geet was the little sister who Rahul spoiled, but Romeo would tease and play around with. That was the reason he called her "Laddoo" because she was chubby back then. They had a very cute and tight bond and she would call him Romeo because he was the lovey dovey type when it came to girls. She unknowingly had a smile on her face through her teary eyes remembering the good memories and pranks she would even play on him, especially on the girls he liked or would flirt with, which would in turn embarrass him.
Geet snaps out of her memory lane when Romeo approaches her.
Yash: Geet . . .
Geet: How could you leave us like that'.how could you ??" she holds the collar of his shirt.
Yash did not know how to look into her eyes. Just like any ego headed 16 year old he ran away from home, leaving his family and his friends behind. Many times he had regretted his decision and wanted to come back home, but never gathered up enough courage to go back.
" I am sorry'I am so sorry laddoo" he says before embracing her in a tight hug.
After Geet let out all her bottled up emotions hugging him Romeo thought that she must of have missed him a lot and that touched a special place in his heart. Romeo was oblivious to the fact how much pain Geet has gone through and is still going through and for Geet it felt nice to have someone like Romeo who felt like a family, back in her life.
She wipes her tears away and cutely says, " Can't you see that I am not chubby anymore so why are you still calling me "laddoo".
" I believe you forgot how you used to look like hun . . . you were not chubby you were FAT!" he says chuckling a little.
Geet to Romeo's surprise just smiled instead of fighting back in her cute way.
Geet: You haven't changed at all
Romeo: But you have a lot.
Geet turned around fighting back tears. She hated how she got so weak all of a sudden. She had moved past all this. But still somewhere in her heart she never got to share the pain of what Dev or her family did. It was all kept inside her.
Romeo: Geet what happened to you? Why did you say that the Geet I knew died?
After what felt like ages Geet shared her heartbreak her pain to someone letting the burden and emotions on her heart out.

After sharing her pain with Romeo, who consoled her as much as he could she decides to come back into the party accidently bumping into Maan.
He just shoved her away from him and gave her the most coldest and bitter glare full of hate. Geet was so shocked at his harsh behavior she just looked at his eyes trying to decipher the meaning of all this. Except all she felt and could see was pure rage and eyes full of hatred.
He turns away without any explanation and leaves out of the party. Geet quickly wipes away the tear that threatened to spill out. It really hurt her to see so much hate and abhorrence in his eyes for her. For a second there she doubted herself in that she might have been wrong. . . Maan doesn't love her and that she has been fighting a lost cause, but she brushes it off she had seen love in those same eyes before, she just didn't know what happened that Maan was so angry.
Romeo was behind Geet and saw the quiet but deadly encounter.
Romeo: Geet is everything okay between you two?
" I wish I had the answer to your question Romeo" Geet softly whispers.

"GEEETTT" maan roared in bloodshot fury eyes.
No matter what, Vicky could not stop what was about to take place. It was too late. Geet had finally unleashed the monster in Maan Singh Khurana. There was no more hiding anymore no more playing games.
