Deepanita gave her daughter a power blast using her voodoo. Alina was reeling from the attack. She'd been a little distracted by Pia bleeding in Abhay's arms. It was tough seeing Abhay with Pia but his heart belonged to Pia and not her. Alina placed her glasses back on concentrating hard intil she'd energized an energy ball flinging it at her mother. Damn thought Alina. She didn't have much juice. Alina had spent all her teen life running from her destiny. Now her powers were failing her when she needed them the most. Alina ducked aside from her mothers next orb heading her way. Alina tried to focus. Mentally lambasting herself for not aiming all her energies at her mother than watching Pia.
