Abhay saw Pia sprawled across the ground turning blue. He took her in his arms to get a reaction out of her but all he heard were her mumbles. Pia appeared to be hallucinating. Abhay could hear Pia's breathing was very sluggish meaning he had to act fast. Pia's pulse was very slow. Abhay checked Pia quickly to see she'd been bitten by a snake. He didn't have the luxury to panic but act swiftly. Pia's lips weren't blue yet and neither was her body. Alina remained standing listening to Pia's faint heartbeat while Abhay was moving around. She wished she had her glasses on to see what was going on. Everything was a blur.
Abhay spoke raspy to Pia aiding her to follow his voice-Pia stay with me. I am here now. I'll make U right as rain. (Grabbed Pia's scarf she had wrapped around her neck tying it around her ankle raising it up to slow the venom from spreading.) Pia listen to me. Stay with me Pia.
Alina to Abhay frantically-What's happened to her Abhay? Is she going to be ok?
Abhay responded in his concerned tone-She's been bitten by a snake. I'll have to suck the venom out. Pia is a fighter. She'll fight through for me. (Diverts his attention back to Pia holding her left foot) Pia i won't let anything happen to U. Not while i am still around. I'm so sorry Pia.
Abhay started to suck the venom with his mouth making sure he got as much out of Pia as possible then spitting it out. He continued to do this till Pia began to come around. Alina could only wait helplessly until Abhay had cleared Pia's system of the venom. She could have healed Pia but she needed the snake in front of her and to see clearly for starters. She was too afraid to wear contacts but now she wished she could so Pia and Abhay wouldn't be in this mess in the first place. Alina could tell Abhay was a vampire but a human for Abhay would be too tempting.
Alina's eyes were filled with stark despair-Abhay tell me how is Pia? Is she...
Abhay finished wiping his mouth of the venom accidently drinking some of Pia's blood. Luckily Alina snapped him out in time-Pia will be Ok. (Hovers around to hold Pia's face in his hand stroking it. Pia's breathing was getting back to normal) Pia get up now. You've scared me enough.
Pia's lips trembled softly repeating-Abhay! Abhay U can't do this to me. U can't hurt me. U can't ... take... him ... from... me...
Abhay hushed Pia-I'm not going any where Pia. Look i am here. Open your eyes Pia. Come on baby open your eyes.
Pia continued weakly licking her dry lips-She wants U back Abhay...Don't go to her...Abhay...Abhay don't forsake me for her...She can't have U. I won't let her... U belong...with... me...
Alina is now lost frowns raising her eyebrow-Is Pia your girlfriend Abhay? Who is she on about?
Abhay wished he knew what Pia was on about probing Pia-Who is after me Pia? Who wants me?
Pia answered-The lady in red.
Alina was baffled just like Alina was. Nobody was wearing red in the camp. Who was Pia on about? From her own observations most of the girls were secretly fantasizing about Abhay including herself. Abhay was hot property right now and way ahead of her brother. It seemed her brother being into Pia had made several girls go off of him while Abhay remaining single and dangerous only fuelled their appetites for him.
Abhay took Pia in his arms and held Alina's hand when Jeh came charging in like an animal on heated Pushing Abhay around like he'd done the unthinkable-W*F Jeh?
Jeh yelled at Abhay-Let go of my sister's hand U freak! (Watches Pia is in Abhay's arms starts accusing) What did U do to Pia? Put her down too.
Abhay had determination in his yes challenging Jeh to make him-Pia is in no stae to walk Jeh. She's injured and needs to rest. I am only saving the day again. As for Alina she is free to do what she wants.
Jeh bellowes almost bursting his lungs out-I said let go of the girls now Abhay. U are a leech. I don't trust U with an animal forget Pia and Alina. If U value your life you'll do as i say.
Alina's heart hammered against her rib cage moving stealthily letting go of Abhay's hand urging her brother-Leave Abhay alone bro. He is telling the truth. We found Pia unconscious. She was bit by a snake.
Jeh hurled-U mean he bit her Alina. He's not human.
Alina softly braved-I know. He has saved Pia. He is an Angel. A messiah.
Jeh spat at Alina shouting at her-Abhay is the devil himself. A vampire Alina. He is not to be trusted. He is a leech. A blood sucker. A demon. A monster. U stay the hell away from him.
Alina was defiant-No! He is my angel bro. He helped me when my brothers weren't around. I can't even see clearly but i can sense U bro. U leave him alone.
Jeh countered-Or you'll what Alina. Shake yourself till your screaming Alina with your own insanity. Mom won't be happy with U when i tell her you've allied yourself with the enemy. Alina stand between her brother and Abhay moving towards him-Tell her like i care. She hates my guts anyway. Bro U have to reason with Abhay.
Jeh raced around Alina too fast choke holding Abhay with Pia in his arms-How do U like me now Abhay?
Abhay was expressionless-Do i look like i'm afraid of U Jeh?
Misha screamed from behind at Jeh-Leave Abhay; Jeh? I said leave him (Shouting at Jeh) He has my sister in his arms U idiot. Leave him alone now. He won't hurt Pia.
Jeh backed off unable to show what he really was to Abhay-Misha saved U today but next time i'll wring your neck. Don't U dare come near Alina or Pia again.
Abhay smirked-I won't come near them but what's to say they won't come near me Jeh?
Jeh takes Pia from Abhay's arms and carries her-I'll take care of Pia. After all i am human. What Abhay cat got your tongue. I've seen your eues how they changed in front of the fires and (Whispers so only Abhay can hear) U have blood on your lips. Its Pia's right. I've been observing your family Raichand and i don't like what i see. U are the reason Pia is so messed up. If U want her happiness then i siggest U stay the hell away from her.
Abhay was left behind wondering how Jeh knew his secret? What was Jeh and Alina? Who was the woman who'd hurt his Pia?
Misha trailed after Jeh with her sister and Alina torn by loyalty and by what was right.
Finally at the camp Jeh laid Pia in her tent with Misha. Jeh spoke softly-Misha; Abhay is dangerous to Pia. He has her right where he wants her. Pia is like a string on a puppet.
Misha used the palm of her hand to stroke Pia's face-I know Abhay; Jeh he would rather die than harm Pia. She is his life. They may not be together. I might not understand him. Or his family. I don't even understand what Abhay and Pia are right now? All i know is they love each other. Pia doesn't have her memories but she still beats for him. Jeh if she saw U attack Abhay Pia would never forgive U. U don't want to start a fight with Abhay. He's not doing anything to deserve this.
Jeh still not listening to Misha-U don't know what he is Misha. Abhay makes my skin crawl.
Misha shook her haed-U both are like oil and water. U just don't gel. Just don't spoil the mood in the camp Jeh. U scared me back there. U really slammed Abhay. I am disappointed at your anger management. My sister could have got hurt. (Looks at Pia's ankle where there were bite marks) Your sister wasn't lying about Pia getting bit by a snake. Why would she do that? All i am saying is don't create a bad atmosphere in here.
Jeh left Misha's tent to see his sister and scold her. Alina remained sat in silence until she saw Jeh-Bhai back there Abhay...
Jeh growled angrily at Alina-I lost my cool because of U Alina. I gave away vital info about what we are to Abhay. Why can't U just stay in one place than wonder around gallivanting with the enemy? Why can't U be normal? I love U sis but U are so infuriating. Don't go near Abhay. He isn't what he shows people. He is a killer.
Alina spat back -Like us U mean? (Makes a sad face) He was the only one who helped me back here while U wee off romancing Misha in the rain. In the Morning i had no sight almost thanks to someone taking off with my glasses and Abhay was here to be my eyes and ears Jeh. He didn't harm me but took care of me. He even saved Pia's life.
Jeh added angrily-How do U know Alina? U are as blind as a bat. (Saw Alina in tears) Sorry i didn't mean it. U know how angry i get Alina. I don't want Abhay any where near U. U are my baby sister Alina. I am supposed to protect U from harm. How do U expect me to do this if U are throwing yourself at the enemy?
Misha was now left reeling at Jeh's nasty streak. What was going on between Abhay and Jeh?
