CHAPTER - 31
Geet got ready in the morning and was eager to know where maan wants to take her .She went to the dining . But to her surprise maan was not there only daadi and dev were having their breakfast . Geet tried not to show the obvious qus in her face and so calmed herself and joined them.
DAADI and DEV : good morning geet
GEET : good morning
geet sat near daadi . They had their breakfast in silence then daadi left leaving dev and geet .
DEV : geet tum mujse kuch poochna chati ho?
Geet was sure that he was aware of her thoughts.
GEET : nahi ... aisa kuch nahi
DEV : pakka ?
GEET : yes
DEV : matlab tum ye nahi jaana chati ki bro kahan hai aur tumareliye kya msg chodkar gaye hai
Geet was shocked . She didn't know if there was anything clear shown in her face whenever she thinks abt maan that dev immediately reads her thoughts.
GEET : woh ... main...
Dev laughed at her plight. then he took a mobile and handed it to her.
DEV : bro ne tume phone karne keliye kaha
GEET : woh ... phone ?
DEV : geet ye tumara hi mobile hai ... bro ka number stored hai caal kar lo
Dev went . Geet immediately searched for his number fortunately she was aware of the way using the mobile. she found his number but was hesitant to call.
[Geet : kya kahoongi main unse? kaise baat karoongi ? oh god i feel soo weird ]
then she finally managed to call him.
MAAN : hello shona ... good morning ...
GEET : ji ...wo dev ne kaha... ki... aapne muje...phone karne keliye kaha ...toh ...main...
MAAN : haan ... woh kya haina toda impt meeting ti isliye office aagaya ...tum ready ho jao main office se nikal raha hoon ... i ll be there in 30 min ... humein kahi jaana hai ...
GEET : ji
Geet didn't know why but she was excited .She got ready and was waiting for maan . She was just checking some msgs in outbox to see if she remembers anything almost 90% msg were send only to maan and the others were to dev then a few named meera . Geet didn't know who meera was she didn't hear the name anywhere by chance so she decided to ask someone later . She was very excited to read what all msgs she has sent to maan .But she couldn't read them as she maan came and she has to go so she decided to read later.
Geet was not sure where they were going she just quietly sat in the car examining the path . They entered a appartment which was really posh it had neat pathway and classy color in every way it was filled with elegance. Maan didn't talk much he lead her to the lift and they reached the 5th floor. Geet followed him quietly . Maan opened the door of their house and waited for geet to go in first.
Geet entered the house she had a strange feeling of familiarity . There was something undescribable that connected her to the house .She looked at maan who was looking at her with a smile .
GEET : ye ghar
MAAN : humara hai... humare shaadi ke shuruat hum yahan se kiyete ... i guess dev ne tumhe humare shaadi ke baare main sab batadiya hai
Geet nodded.
MAAN : maine socha ki tum wahan se zyada yahan comfortable feel karogi ... yahan sirf hum dono hongey tumhe ... yahan humara bahut saare yaadein hain so that u could relate easily ...
Geet examined the house . She felt comfortable .She was feeling happy .maan didn't disturb her he watched her silently.After visiting every nuke and corner of the house geet sat in the sofa of living room and maan sat beside her.
GEET : muje kuch yaad nahi aaya.
She said with guilt
MAAN : koi baat nahi shona ... ye sab ek doo din mein todi yaad aayega ... we ll take everything very slowly ... we have our entire life to do it ...
geet looked itno maan's eyes which gave her so much confidence...
MAAN : tum zyada stress mat lo ... now i ll make something for u to eat...
He walked to kitchen . Geet followed him.
GEET : main banavoon ?
She asked a with hesitation
MAAN : are u sure ?
Geet nodded and went near the stove . maan watched her with patience she was looking at all boxes and vegetables kept there . She kept the pan in the stove the tried to chop then took some water then oil . She was not sure what to do . She looked confused then slowly her eyes began to moist . Now how could maan take her tears he immediately rushed towards her and cupped her face.
MAAN : kya hua geet ?
GEET ( with teary eyes ) : muje cooking yaad nahi hai ...main boolgayi
Maan busted into laugh . Geet watched him in confusion.
MAAN : oh ... my sweetheart tum bool nahi gayi tumhe toh cooking aati hi nahi ...
Geet was shocked
GEET : kya ?
MAAN : hamesha main cook karta hoon aur tum bas muje dekti rehati ho
GEET : sach mein muje cooking nahi aata ?
MAAN : haan ... tumhe pasta ke alawa kuch nahi aata
GEET : aisa kyun ?
MAAN : kyunki pasta mera fav hai ...
Geet was really embaressed to know that she doesn't know cooking . Maan cooked lunch for them .THey both ate . After that maan took her to some mall then at evening they went back to KM collect maan's things as he had decided that they would stay at their flat that weekend so that geet would feel more comfortable with him.
Maneet came back to their flat after having dinner at KM . Maan arranged all his things in the room while geet was helping him . Maan changed to his black vest and tracks.
MAAN : geet change karlo raat bahut hogayi ... u need to sleep...
It was then geet realized that they had to share the same room and same bed .It was not that she was afraid or uncomfortable to be with him infact she was shy to go before him in her night dress .she blushed seeing herself in the mirror. She knew that they were married and would have defenitely shared the same bed before but now she was really feeling excited . she was sure even before that she was attracted to him the day she saw him . She still feel tiklish remembering his touch . but now it was getting stronger.She went to the room from wash room. Maan was comfortably sleeping on one side while geet sank on other side .It took her few mins to get out of the excitment and sleep peacefully.
