CHAPTER -30
Geet was disturbed the whole night she didn't know why his indifference caused so much pain in her . She was finding it very different whenever she tried to think about anything or recollect her head became heavy . She later slept due to severe head pain. Maan came to check her and found her sleeping . He went near her and kept staring at her. Then she kissed her forehead and left.
Next morning geet woke up a bit late and went to see daadi after getting ready. She found daadi and dev having breakfast but maan was missing.
DAADI : good morning geet
GEET : good morning daadi
DEV : itne jaldi utgayi
He said sarcasticly.
GEET : woh...main ...toda
DAADI : koi baat nahi beta...aap ab kaisa feel kar rahe hain...
GEET : main teek hoon daadi
DAADI : geet beta aap apna packing karlijiye hum aaj delhi wapas jaa rahe hain
Geet nodded. Her heart wanted to enquire about maan but didn't know how to ask .
Daadi , Dev and Geet reached the air port but maan was not there. Again geet felt a pain in her heart. Dev understood what she wants to ask after all she was his best friend .
DEV : bro kissi kaam se aaj subha hi delhi chaligaye hai...
GEET : muje bataya nahi...
Geet didn't know why she said that . Dev was equally surprised by her qus.
GEET : woh main keharai ti...
DEV : main samajgaya tum chalo
He said leading her to the flight.

They reached KM geet was not familiar with neither the house nor the surroundings . They entered the living room. Geet felt a suuden raise in her heart beat there was a strange feel of comfortableness in the air she knew that he was there even before turning . but she controlled herself thinking that anyways he is not gonna talk to her and will just give his blank look to her . Actually she was not wrong . he came hugged daadi .and didn't notice her
DAADI : maan aap humse baat mat kariye ... ab tak aap pure se teek nahi hue aur ab se kaam karna shuru kardiya...
MAAN : woh impt meeting ta
DAADI : lekin beta...
MAAN : daadi aap fikar mat kijiye aaj se kaam kam...
DAADI : dekte hai...
MAAN : sure
maan said with a winck Geet was watching them with smile ... how her heart wanted to talk with her ...
DAADI : teek hai beta hum jaate hai...
MAAN : ji
Daadi left . Geet was not sure what to do .She stood there confused . maan turned to her with a cute smile . Geet's heart skipped a beat.He was actually smiling at her. He placed his one hand on her cheek and inched close to her .Her heart was beating faster. Now she could feel his breath on her.
MAAN : sorry shona woh kaam ta isliye jaldi aagaya ... tumhe batana chata ta but kya karta tum itne peacefully soo rahi ti isliye disturb nahi kar rahana chata ta...
Geet didn't know how to react she was feeling some shivers in her.
GEET : woh...its ok...
That is what she managed to tell but it was more like whisper...
Maan slowly moved back and put his hands aroun her wiast . Maan called for nakul ...
NAKUL : ji sir
MAAN : mam ko unka kamra dikana
He then turned to geet.
MAAN : tum jaake fresh ho jao ... we ll talk later ...
She just nodded and then went to her room...
Maan caught up with dev in the study ...
DEV : bro kya hua ?
MAAN : maine psycatrist se baat karliya dev...
DEV : kya kaha unhone?
MAAN : geet ko purana baat yaad dilana chaiye without stressing her...
DEV : woh aap kaise karengey?
MAAN : tum chinta mat karo dev main ache se jaanta hoon kya karna hai
He said with his usual bright smile
DEV : main aap ke saath hoon
MAAN : pehale muje ye pata lagana hoga ki geet mere baare mein kya sochti hai...
DEV : bro iss baat pe toh aap fikar mat kariye ... uska yaad zaroor nahi hai phir bhi aap ko bahut pasand karti hai
MAAN : matlab ?
DEV : uske dil mein abhi bhi aap keliye pyaar fresh hai ... she still trusts u
what else can make maan more happy now he was 200% confident that he could bring geet's memory back...
After dinner geet was reading some magazine but nothing seemed to her familiar...she noticed maan who was watching her folding his arms and leaning on the wall...he smiled sweetly
MAAN : medicine liya?
He asked while placing himself comfortably near her and placinh his hands on hers...
GEET : ji.. aapne?
That qus was very spontaneous ... maan was happy beyond words hearing that ...he loved the way she not being uncomfortable to his touch ...
MAAN : not sleepy ?
GEET : main bas aise hi pad rahi ti ...
MAAN : lekin tum jaake soo jao humen kal kahi jaana hai
geet didn't bother to ask where they have to go she trusted him...
MAAN : good night
he said leading her to her room...
MAAN : mera room paas mein hai ... u can call me if u want something...
geet nodded. maan was about to leave .
GEET : good night
He closed the door with sweet smile.
