but geet was lost in her own thoughts of maan...she didn't respond to radhika...radhika tried to cheer her...but geet remained silent...
savithri devi and jay came inside...jay gave irritating looks to savithri after seeing the house and geet parents...but savithri gave him an angry glare...to behave properly...
mohinder: ghar doond ne mein koi mushkil nahi hua na...
savithri: nahi...
rano served them sweets and lassi...jay gave disgusting looks at the food items...again savithri gave an angry glare to jay...jay remained silent...
savithri: geet kaha hey?
rano: abhi leke aathi hu...
said these words rano went inside to bring geet...
jay came close near savithri...and whispered
jay: daadi..i told u before that i hate villages and village girls...lekin aap mujhe zabardasthi yaha leke aaya...aapko condition yaad hey na...hum bas ladki ko dekhenge...uske baad ghar jaake iss rishtha ko mana karenge...
savithri: jay...tum chup raho...mujhe patha hey kya karna hey...
jay became silent...he took out his cell phone in anger and started texting his girl friend in US
mohinder observed savithri-jay conversation...
mohinder: beta kuch chahiye kya?
savithri: nahi nahi..bas woh avyi baath kar raha hey...
Rano came down along with geet...geet win her green saree was looking like an angel...geet greeted savithri and took blessings from her...
savithri liked geet very much...she hit jay with elbow to look at geet...
savithri: jay...bewakoof...dekho ladki ko ...kithna pyaari hey...
but jay showed no interest...savithri forced him to look at geet...after looking at geet...jay became speechless...he was lost in her beauty...without blinking his eye even for a second jay kept looking at geet...but geet behaved as if she was not present there...she didn't care to even look at jay...

Maan along with his family members reached brij house for engagement ceremony. Brij was very happy and gave a grand welcome...
hariprakash: brij aaj ka din mein bahuth kush hu...tumhari beti hamesha hamesha keliye mera ghar ki laxmi ban raha hey...waise ananya kaha hey...
brij: woh apne kamre mein hey...tayyar ho raha hey...
brij got busy in making arrangements...maan started feeling bored...he went outside to get some fresh air...there he saw a girl running away with a guy...as it was dark he couldnot identify the girl...
maan: shayad...lovebirds hey...
maan smiled and came inside...hariprakash was busy in talking to guests and praising maan...maan started to feel uncomfortable in that large function...
nainatara observed maan discomfort...
nainatara: maan...kya hua? ananya ko dekhne ka mann kar raha hey kya...
maan didn't thought of ananya for a second also...truly speaking he is not having any excitement to see anaya...just he is doing it as a duty...which his father assigned...
maan: nahi nahi...didi bas bore ho raha hu...aur kuch nahin...
nainatara sighed...
nainatara: hmmm...mein ne socha kuch aur hey...
maan made an angry face
maan: as if...waise...jiju kaha hey...usko yaad hey ya nahi ki aaj mera mangini hey...
nainatara: maan...tujhko tho patha hey na..adi ke baare mein...phir kyu pooch rahe ho...maine kaha shyaam 5 bajhe aane keiliye...ab tho 9 baj raha hey...abhi tak aaya nahi...aane dho une...phir bathathi hu...
nainatara spatted out in anger...maan laughed imagining adi's haal after coming home...
Pandit asked to bring ananya to start the function...anaya's mother sheethal went to ananya's room to bring her...
after sometime...sheetal screamed..."ananya"
maan's family along with the guests got shocked with sudden scream of sheethal...maan and brij rushed to ananya's room to find out what actually happened...
on entering the room...they both saw ...sheetal on ground crying with a letter in hand...
Brij rushed to sheetal, took letter from her and started to read...
Dear maa and papa,
mein ne aapse pehle hi kaha ki..mujhe yeh shaadhi pasand nahi hey...kyunki mein kisi aur se pyaar kar rahi hu...lekin aap ne meri baath nahi suni...isliye mein aapko hamesha hamesha keliye chodke jaarahaihu sundeep ke saath...hosake tho mujhe maaf kijiye...kya karu aap ne koi rastha nahi choda...

after reading the letter brij got shock of his life...maan took the letter from him and read it...then understood that the girl he saw an hour before was ananya...but surprisingly maan didn't feel angry /hurt...he felt bad for brij situation...on the contrary hariprakash became furious as his close friend cheated him...
hariprakash: yeh kya hey brij ...tumko sharam nahi aatha aisa kaam karne keliye...apne dosth ko dhoka dene keliye...ithni badi baath chupakar tum iss shaadi karwana chahthey ho...chi...aaj humara dosthi khatam hua hey...
said these words hariprakash walked outside holding maan's hand...
maan: papa...ek minute...jo aap kar rahe hey...woh teek nahi hey...woh bahuth dukh mein hey...upar se aap unhe beizzat karke unkon aur dukh dilarahe hey...
hariprakash calmed a bit with maan's words...maan went near brij...made him to sit and gave water...
maan: dekhiye uncle...jo hua so hua..ab uske baare mein sochke kuch faida nahi hey...woh appke beti hey...zara sochiye...jab woh uss ladka keliye...aap sab ko chod ke gaya..iss ka matlab woh unse... apse bhi zyyada pyyar kar rahi hey na...isliye...unko doondke ghar lake...uss ladke se hi shaadi karvayiye...pyaar karna koi crime nahi hey...maa baap hey aap ananya ka...agar une aap nahi samjhe tho...koi aur bhi samaj nahi saktha...
brij got relieved somewhat from shock...he thanked maan for understanding the situation...
but hariprakash was still angry at brij and left the place taking forcibly maan and nainatara with him...
