Armaan-KSG, Pari and Fatima: Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad the story resonated so much with you guys. When I had posted this in the Writer's Corner, one reader had said to me that she got two messages from it - 1: we often don't realize the importance of what we have until it is too late, and 2: out of great sorrow it is possible to find a sense of purpose. Hope you feel this to be true as well.
