Part 10
Armaan and Riddhima arrive at Riddhima's parents house.Both of them get out and get their suitcases out.Riddhima rings the doorbell and looks at Armaan.She could tell by his face that he wasn't happy to be here.He told her that the only reason he came is because Padma had called him especially to invite him.The door opens revealing Shashank.His face brightened up when he saw Armaan and Riddhima.
"Aao andar aao," Shashank said.They walk in and Shashank takes them into a big hug. Padma walks out and also gives them both a hug.
"Andar chalo yahan pe kyun kade ho," Padma said.They walk in and go to the living room. Armaan took a seat and Riddhima sat next to him.Armaan looks at her and she looks at him.
"Safar theek raha?" Shashank asked.
"Ji Papa," Riddhima replies.Shashank noticed Armaan upset and became confused.
"Armaan," Shashank said.Armaan looks at Shashank."Beta tum theek ho?" Armaan nods.
"Woh main thak gaya hoon," Armaan replies.
"Haan, tum dono jaake araam karo aur aaj shaam ko party pe jaana hai." Shashank said.
"Party?" Armaan said a little confused.Riddhima looks down and Armaan looks down at her.Her eyes looking away from him told him that she knew about the party.
"Haan.Humare society main parties hote hain toh aaj shaam ko hum wahi jaa rahe hain," Shashank said.Armaan and Riddhima walk upstairs to Riddhima's room.Armaan slams the door shut and Riddhima flinches.He grabs her arm and pulls her towards him.
"Main nai iss stupid party pe jaa raha," Armaan said.
"Please," Riddhima said with tears in her eyes.
"No," Armaan said and pushes her back on the bed.He was about to walk in the bathroom but Riddhima caught his arm.
"Please chaliye na," Riddhima begged him holding on to his arm tight."Sab puche ge ke aap kahan hai aur main Ma aur Papa ko kya jawab dogi."
"I don't know and I don't care," Armaan said pushing her hand off of him.Riddhima stood in front of him with pleading eyes.
"Please," Riddhima said joining her hands in front of him.Armaan looks down at her then looks away.
"Bacho - " Padma said walking but stopped talking when she saw Riddhima's hands joined in front of Armaan and crying.Riddhima puts her hands down and wipes her tears.Armaan looks away from Padma and to Riddhima.Riddhima looks up at Armaan."Kya hua?"
"Kuch nai Ma," Riddhima answers her looking down.
"Toh phir tum ro kyun rahe ho?" Padma asked stroking her hair.Padma looks up at Armaan to expect him to answer but he doesn't."Tum dono main jhagda hua hai kya?" Armaan and Riddhima look at Padma."Chalo sorry bolo ek dusre ko aur gale milo."
"Ma," Riddhima said surprised.
"Kya Ma.Woh karo jo maine abhi kaha hai," Padma said.No one said anything as they just stared at each other."Karo." Padma pushes Riddhima to Armaan."Riddhima bolo."
"Sorry," Riddhima said with her eyes up to Armaan but her head was down.
"Armaan, ab aap." Padma said.
"Sorry," Armaan says and looks away from Riddhima.
"Gale milo," Padma said.Both of them look at Padma."Sharam aa rahe hai." Padma laughs and walks out shaking her head.Armaan glares at Riddhima then walks in the bathroom.
Riddhima is getting ready for the party while Armaan just sat on the bed watching TV in his sleeping clothes.She looks at Armaan through the mirror but his eyes were still on the TV. Riddhima looks down to pick up her earring and when she looks back up in the mirror her eyes go to Armaan.Armaan turns his head and looks at Riddhima.Riddhima looks down when she sees Armaan look at her.She lifts her eyes to look at him and saw that his eyes were still on her.Armaan stares at her in shock.She looked beautiful he had to admit. Riddhima turns around to walk out and when she opens the door, Shashank stood there. He walks in while Riddhima had wide eyes.Riddhima was going to go downstairs and make an excuse that Armaan isn't feeling well so he couldn't come but her father is here now, in their room.Armaan sat up quickly when he saw Shashank.
"Armaan beta, aap abhi tak tayar nai hui?" Shashank asked looking at Armaan suspiciously.
"Main bas tayar ho raha tha," Armaan said as he knew Riddhima isn't going to say anything in front of him and that her dad can probably she is lying so he walks in the bathroom. Shashank chuckles and turns to Riddhima.
"Kya hua Riddhima?Tum pareshan lag rahe ho," Shashank said.Riddhima looks at her dad.
"Nai Papa kuch nai," Riddhima said.
"Acha main aur Padma neeche intezaar kar rahe hain," Shashank informs and walks out.
After a while, Armaan came out dressed in black dress pants and a white dress shirt. Riddhima wasn't able to take her gaze off of him.He looked like a greek god dressed in those clothes.She has seen him dressed in formals but today she was gazing at him more than she usually does.She thought its because she is falling more in love with him everyday.Armaan brushes his hair and walks out passing Riddhima.Riddhima looks after him then walks out of her room after closing the lights.She reaches downstairs and sees her parents talking to Armaan.
"Chale," Padma said.Riddhima nods and they make their way out to the car.Armaan sat in the passenger seat while Padma and Riddhima sat in the back.They arrive to banquet hall where the party was held and walk in.
They walk in and see the place filled with people.Some of them are new and some of them are their friends that have been coming to the society parties for a while.They walk in further and find themselves a table.Riddhima's cousins and aunts and uncles even come to these society parties too.
"Riddhima!" Riddhima turns around and sees Muskaan walking over to her with their friends. Muskaan takes her into a big bear hug.Riddhima smiles at her friends and hugs Muskaan back."Kaise hai tu?"
"Main theek hoon.Tu kaise hai?" Riddhima asked as she hugged her other friends.Muskaan saw Armaan sitting on the seat on his phone.
"Hi Jeeja ji," Muskaan said.Armaan looks up at Muskaan and smiles.
"Hey," Armaan replies and looks back at hi phone.Muskaan sat down next to Riddhima's seat that was besides Armaan's.Her friends took the other seats so basically Armaan was the only guy at the table.Riddhima kind of felt bad that Armaan didn't have any friends and didn't know anyone so he couldn't really talk with anyone besides her and her friends which she knows that he is not going to do.
"Riddhima," a girl with long hair said.Riddhima looks at her and saw her motion her finger to come closer which did the other girls too.
"Tera woh toh bade hot hain," she complimented.Riddhima blushes but tries to hide and fails at it.
"Nikki," Riddhima said.Riddhima and Nikki met at these parties along with Muskaan and ever since then they all have been friends.Nikki was one of the first people they met so they have a better bond with her then the other girls but all of them are best friends.They use to have sleepovers, birthday parties, or just get together at someone's house.
Riddhima looks at Armaan and he was still on his phone.Riddhima looks at her friends and sees them whispering to each other including Muskaan.Riddhima became confused but didn't interfere in their whispering.
"Jeeja ji," Muskaan calls out to Armaan.Armaan looks up from his phone and looks at Muskaan.He sees all the girls staring at him with a smile making him confused.
"Yeah," Armaan replies to Muskaan.
"Aap aur Riddhima apne honeymoon ke liye kahan gaye the?" Muskaan asked.Riddhima looks at Muskaan with wide eyes and embarrassment.Riddhima hits Muskaan's shoulder. "Ouch.Dekha Jeeja ji mujhe har waqt marti hai aur dard hota hai." Armaan looks at Riddhima and Riddhima looks down.He could see her red cheeks so he decided to have some fun with her friends.
"Well kya batao," Armaan said putting his arms on the table with his hands entwined. "Riddhima ne hi sab kuch kiya tha." Riddhima heads shots up at Armaan with her eyes wide.
"N...nai maine...kuch nai kiya," Riddhima said looking at her friends nervously.
"Agar kuch nai kiya toh itni ghabra ke kyun bol rahe hai," Nikki asked.Riddhima looks at Armaan and sees him smirking.Riddhima was embarrassed and looked down to hide her face from everyone.
"Actually, Riddhima ne kuch nai kiya.Hum abhi tak honeymoon pe nai gaye," Armaan said. Riddhima looks at Armaan.Before, he was so rude to her and here is being nice to all her friends."Soch na nai ke main aise tumhare saath bhi hoonga." He whispers to Riddhima. Riddhima looks at him and knew that it was to good to be true.
