He had never met anybody with such a kind pure heart as geet, he was totally blown away by her words and actions. he stood there admiring her cute and innocent views about children!
After Geet had finished her lifelong views about children, Siddharth told her to take a seat - making Geet realise this was a proffesional occasion, not a family gathering. She sat there with a straight face waiting for him to talk and ask her the normal questions she would be asked during an interview. So, erm.. where shall we start? oh... ok, so could you tell me abit about yourself, i mean your past careers and such, err...Geet, yes, thank you. Geet thought for a second where to start. yes... emm.. Im geet handa, im 21 years old, im from Hushiyarpur. And... geet looked down nervously and said, well i havent ever had a job before. then she quickly added but i promise i will learn everything quickly, i wont screw it up.. i promise geet was certain that after siddharth would hear this, she would have no chance of the job. she half-heartedly offered him her file, ermm.. yeh hai mere qualifications, she looked up to see siddharth gladly take her file and as he looked through it his face showed no reactions, no "ow wow thats fantastic" face, or no "head nods", there was no emotions, geet took it as he wasnt impressed, so she looked back down again, preparing herself for the bad news - once again.
Well, geet, i have to say... these are great qualifications, but.. you've had no experience, no past jobs, so... he took a long pause which was increasing the tension for geet, i guess youll have to learn as you go and prove to me that you can do this without any scew-ups! hearing this geet snapped her head up to meet siddharths gleaming eyes ans saw a smile covering his face, she couldnt believe it! she got the job! oh sir! thank you sooo much! i promise u wont regret this!!! oh IM SOOO HAPPY!! tears were rolling down geets glowing face, she was over the moon! wiping the tears quickly, geet stretched out her hand to meet siddharths and shook it massively, congratulations geet, i hope you will be able to show me how commited you are to this job... and before he could finish his sentence geet interrupted, oh sir i will not do anything to let you down! i will do my best! releasing her fragile hand, siddharth said well then, i guess i will see you tomorow? geet nodded exitedly ok, 9.30am sharp u will be my assistant ok? i will tell you what to do ok sir and leave you details, just incase we need to contact you on the front desk and yeh loh, he took a slip from the desk and gave it to geet, yeh front desk peh dhedho, ok? ok sir. bye and thanks once again. no problem, see you tomorow. Geet walked out of the office, still with a massive smile glued to her face, she handed the slip and left her details with the woman at the front desk, who smiled at geet and congratulated her for the job. this just made her smile even bigger.
She ran out of the building, oh thank you Babaji!!!! thank yoooo soo much!!!! she dialled avnis number as quick as possible, though she remembered that avni had gave her strict instructions to stay at home, geet couldnt control her happiness and called her. hello, geet! cahaa ho tum! maine ceha thaa stay at home! maam get home this instant... I got the job!!! she coulnt wait until the whole of avni's lecture was finished. what? i got the job, i got the job, i got the job, geet started dancing around and singing it oh geet!! im so happy for you!!! congratz!!! where is it at? kundan inmdustries, im siddharth kundans assistant!! oh geet!! welldone sweety!! arrr i would just hug u to death right now!!!! geet laughed. geet told her to meet her at the local cafe, where they would usually go, cafe humtum.
The cafe was a very special place for geet, as this was were she first met avni, and it was where they both decided to spend all their special moments of happiness, like now, geet getting her first job!
Avni was sat in their usual seats in the far corner, where there was loads of privacy, waiting for geet to arrive eagery, Wen she did see geet, she ran up to her quicky and hugged her sooo hard, that geet hat to pat her back slightly to give avni a hint to release her. The girls spent the whole afternoon ordering their special smoothies whilst geet gave her all the gossip about what happened, who she met and every single detail. Avni was just as excited as geet was, they shared all their joys and sorrows together, they were closer than real sisters. they had nobody else other than each other to share their little and huge happiness with. :')
