am here too.. sorry 4 commenting late, i had been in a bad mood.. i had 2 bad and one ok paper till nw..so my spirits r quiet low..erm hw abt lifting them with an update? lol!

well seriously speaking i know what comments and likes do to a writer...it gives quite a motivation...

but well the couple you are writng are arnt very well known or have a large fan following...hadn't it been you writing this ff even i wouldn't have bothered to read it...i havn't evn watched maryada once...god i hardly read ffz other than maaneet's😆

so i guess the reason there arnt many followers of this ff is because the couple isn't very famous...

but then it's their loss as they are missing out a wonderful story and equally wonderful writer...but you can be assured that the 36 readers that you have are extremely enthralled by your writing...n ofcourse always on a wait of your update...so if you are not updating because of your tight sechdule then well its okay...but plz don't lose your motivation to write...

Oh no Sri ... Plz do not lose the motivation to write ... your 36 readers here need your updates ... their daily fix !!!

Now I dont know whether I ought to say this ... I mean, I dont want to step on anyone's toes ... but ... IF is littered with 100s of FFs about the popular reel jodis.

And most of them are the ... Girl meets boy ... rub each other the wrong way ... declare they cant stand the sight of each other ... meet some more ... girl trips - boy catchs her ... boy in soup - girl bails him out ... then the next level ... a million eye-locks (I must mentions Sookie's master piece on this particular topic 👍🏼) ...some more tripping ... a lot of catching ... and finally both falling ... in love that is ...

This is the staple fare ... and this has a large fan base !

But your writing my dear, is wayyy above this ... not even on the same planet, leave alone the same plane !!!!!

Like I said before ... you and Sookie are by far the best writers on IF. 👏

Your writing has a great story line... strong characters ... logical flow ... the element of suspense to keep the readers hooked... and the flair of inter-weaving fact and fiction !

In short ... this story is def for a niche audience ... ( at the risk of sounding immodest 😆 )...

So, my dear ... please dont let the number of responses de-motivate you ...

We, your loyal readers ... will always be here to applaud your fabulous updates !!! 👍🏼

PS: I must add, please update when you're comfortable. Your updates are always worth the wait. And I'm sure ...your fans here dont mind waiting, till your free to do so !

Wow... thank you ladies!! I really appreciate the outpouring of support after my little rant... :)

Just to clarify though, I am not at all bemoaning the fact that I have only 36 readers - in fact, I sort of like our little group. My point was that, out of the 36, only about 5 comment... which can be disheartening at times... as you have probably already guessed, this story really takes a lot out of me (and i don't just mean creatively; I mean, the amount of research that goes into it...)

So... anyways, I am over my little rant-moment ;)

You all are awesome!!! :) :)

I know I don't comment as often, but I'm still reading...promise! Maryada actually leaves me speechless at time, ..and at times I write down my comment, but then erase the whole thing because I just sound silly and all over the place.. because your updates are just that good!!
