Part - 25
------------

Few Weeks Later
-----------------------

They were meeting on a regular basis...

She had resumed working with him...

He wanted Geet and Tia to shift to the Khurana Mansion,but she

refused politely...

She said she preferred to stay with Pinky and Adi as she

considered their home as her Maayka.

The emotional Pinky became all the more emotional(if possible)

listening to this while Adi showed his love and appreciation by

planting an affectionate kiss on Geet's forehead...

Tia was at the Mansion almost all the time...

She had switched her loyalties easily and proclaimed herself as

her Daddy's 'prinshesh'...which made her Daddy float on cloud

nine!!

Although Geet initially pouted at her little one's treachery...

eventually she had to give in when both Daddy and daughter

showered her with kisses.

Even though she allowed him come closer to her,Maan could still

feel a reluctance in her...

An intimate touch or a passionate kiss made her jittery...

She tried to hide her discomfort from him...but not quite

successfully...

Every time he touched her ,her body went cold and stiff...

She seemed to be living those bitter moments...

Even though he wanted her like crazy,Maan knew that he had to

be patient and tread carefully...

Daadi was tired of the wait and wanted the wedding to happen soon...

Maan took the blame on himself.

He convinced Daadi that he needed to finish certain urgent

projects first before he can afford to take time off for

marriage... Although Daadi was not fully convinced, she agreed...

Geet was grateful but worried too...

She knew that she loved him but deep inside something still

stopped her from opening up fully to him...

Maan discussed the situation with Pinky and Adi...

On their insistence,he took Geet to a reputed psychologist.

The counseling sessions along with his selfless love and care did

wonders to her confidence...

Finally one day,she herself asked Maan ,whether he planned to

marry her soon or not!!!

It was Geet's haldi ceremony at Pinky's place...

Tia sat there watching ladies smear haldi all over her mamma...

"Mamma, Tia put haldi too..."

Geet playfully smeared haldi on her tiny nose.

"Mamma ,Tia alsho pretty like you???"

"Yes honey...you are much much much more prettier than me..."

Daadi took Tia back to the mansion...

She was excited to see Adi Maasa putting haldi on her Daddy ...

"Daddy...,"she plopped herself on his lap...

"Daddy look..",she pointed at her nose...

"Tia put haldi too...now Tia pretty like mamma..."

everybody laughed at her cuteness...Maan fondly kissed his nanhi pari...

"Ummm..Daddy loves Tia"

"Tia lovesh Daddy"...she replied hiding her face in his chest...

Tia was the cynosure of all eyes at the Mehndi ceremony too.

She wore a tiny lehenga and ran up and down dragging it.

What a pretty sight she made!!!

"Mamma Tia too put thish.." ,she said pointing at the Mehndi..

"Beta no mehndi...please..you will smear it all over ...it wont go off like haldi!!!"..

But she was adamant and was ready to bawl her lungs out...

"OK Ok...Badi Daadi will put Mehndi for Tia..Theek hai??" ,Daadi pacified her...

"This little one reminds me of a lil' imp who used to pout and bawl

at the drop of a hat!!!" ,Daadi chuckled softly...

Geet looked at Daadi and saw her naughty look..

"Daadi... I understood your ishaara ok?? Now stop teasing me..."

The ladies wrote Maan's name in her palm...

Tia also wanted to put Daddy's name in her tiny palms...

"No baba... girls write their husband's name in their palms,not

Daddy's name"..Geet tried to dissuade her...

"Oookies, put hush...hushband name here..."

"But Tia baby you don't have a husband"...and that was it!!!!!

She started wailing...it grew louder and louder with each passing second...

"Tiaaa..uff... stop crying baby..What is it?",Geet asked ,worried...

"Tia wantsh hushband too..."

Every one broke out into laughter annoying Tia even more...

She calmed down only when her mamma promised to find a husband soon for her..

Maan was in seventh heaven...

Today was the most anticipated and special day of his life...

Today Mishti was going to be his forever...
