Another twist
Jeet took Preeti to visit her mother just to keep her mind off Maasi's departure. on the way he bought her favorite ice cream and chocolates. on reaching the hospital, after the hugs and kisses, she talked with Jssi about this and that, but not about her Maasi.then she wanted to eat her chocolate...
"Where did Maasi go, Preetu?" Jassi asked earning a frown from Jeet.
"Shonam"Preeti corrected.
"I was trying hard to keep Simi's thoughts from her...do u want to make her cry?" jeet asked.
"DOes she look sad?"
Jeet looked at his daughter who has busy trying to decide which chocolate to eat. When he thought back, he realized she didn't look that unhappy after the talk with Simi. In fact she looked satisfied as if her demand has been met. as he began to unwrap the silver cover of the chocolate he asked,
"what did maasi tell, preetu?"
"shonam" she corrrected again as she took the chocolate back and then added, "don't tell...seeket"
"What is the seeket, Sonam?"
"Maasi come for bday. maasi pomissed!"she said calmly before she took a bite of the milkybar.
Jeet and JAssi looked at each other bewildered and then burst out laughing!

Ok friends this is posted from the Cafe..so please ignore the errors...also the smallest update...this is the after thought i planned to post the day after the last update...sorry it took so long to be posted! hpoe u will have to have something to say abt the latest development...and the SS will be over with the next update and an epilogue...happy?
