"mayank ..kahan ho??"…nupur was shouting all over the school…now that was nothing new for the other students… they knew whenever nupur is highper about something she shouts taking mayank's name this way.. they were now used to this…every student of the school feel that mayank and nupur is girl friend and boyfriend but due to some reason they never question them..well there was nothing like that..but still when a girl seems so depended on a boy that cant be only friendship righ?..it can but people never accepts it!
mayank knew why nupur was shouting like this so he was peacefully sitting on the corridor and reading his book..nupur finally reached there and after taking some long breaths she said…. "mayank uo..uo notice board"…she was still panting… "haan na..exams arahe hain apke..aur as usual apne koi preparation to ki hogi nahi?"… mayank said scrasctacly… "dekho mayank..mera mazak mat urao..maine parai ki hai par samajh hi nahi araha abhi itni nervousness kyun ho rahi hoon"… she said sadly… "ghab rao mat..mai hoon na..mai tumhari revision karwa dunga ok?"… mayank said showing his cute dimples… "aww thanks mayank! I knew tum hi ho jo meri madad karoge"…she said hugging him… generally mayank responds to nupur's hug..well in the whole earth after mayank's mother and sister nupur was only woman in his life who can hug him..but today he didn't..the hug was same but it felt different!.. "acha mayank mai abhi chalti hoon..tum na sham ko mere ghar ajana aur meri revision karwa dena ok"… she said and left with her lovable pink bag!…"ok nupur bye"…he said and after nupur left.."umm..kuch hua kya?"…mayank asked himself… "nahi kuch hona to nahi chaiye..par mujhe phir aisa kyun laga ki kuch hua??"…..he was confused but again he was mayank Sharma and this things are always ignored by him!

"gunjan was going home back..normally she goes back with mayank but as today she had her tuitions after school so she was going bach home after tuitions..when someone tapped on her shoulder…she was scared at first then relaxed a bit as she saw that it was samrat
"kya samrat…humesha…humehsa tumhara yahi hai…itna dara diya tha mujhe tumne…arghh I hate you"…she was feeling really angry…she already is scared of going home alone and on the top of that samrat scared her… "arey shant ho jao chashmish…mai to bas ihan se guzar raha tha…tumhe dekha to socha company de doon"…he said in his usual tone… "company??"…samrat nooded llike four years old child… "jitna mujhe pata hai ihan se guzar ne layek tumhara kuch hai nahi…mere peeche aye ho na..phirse?"… gunajn said in an angry tone… samrat smiled… he has always done this… he knew that gunjan was scared of going alone so he always comes there with a reason … "kya yaar janti ho na..,phir bhi"… samrat said and started to walk… gunajn also started to walk… "samrat uo… thanks"…she said looking down…samrat stopped and gave her a confused look… "tum humesha meri help karte ho na isiliye"… she said with a big smile on her face…… "ab ye thanks keh kar na humari dosti choti mat karo…aur chalo bhi yaar…der ho rahi hai tumhe bhi aur mujhe bhi"… samrat said and dragged her… "ok baba..par samrat aaj na sham ko ghar ajana"… gunajn wasnt asking him…she was actually ordering him… "uo na ma ne gazar ka halwa banay hai tumhare liye to tum zaroor ana aur meri exams ki tayiari me bhi madad kardena"… gunjan said slowly… "acha phirse…tumhe phirse physics me problem hai?"… samrat said with a laugh… "dekho mujhe uo samjh nahi ati na…mazak kyun ura rahe ho?"… she said setting her glasses… "arey ok ok..nahi urata ..thik hai mai ajaunga…gazar ka halwa khane…thik hai na?"… he said taunting her… "haan thik hai"… and they both burst out with laugh

nupur was sitting in dining table…she was waiting for mayank to come…she was as usual eating something when her father came there… "hi dad!" nupur said in between her eating… "ap ihan kya karrahi hain nupur…apko apne room me parai karna chaiye tha is waqt"… he said ignoring nupur's hi or bye… "haan dad uo mai…mayank ka intezar karrahi hoon…uo meri help karne ane wala hai parai me"… she said looking down knowing that her father don't like her and samrat's friendship with mayank and gunjan… "humne apse kitni baar kaha hai beta ki un logo se dosti na rakhen…apne bara bar walo se dosti rakhein"… he said with a proud look… "par dad…mayank mai gunajn aur bhai tabse dost hain jabse hume shai se chalna bhi nahi ata tha…hum unse dosti nahi tor sakte…ap ainda se aisa na kahein pls"… nupur's father was getting angry now he was about to shout on nupur when nupur noticed that mayank was standing at the door…mayank was surely embarrassed at this… "ah! I am sorry nupur…mai"…he wanted to go from there but nupur stopped him… "acha hua tum agaye mayank…chalo uppar chalet hain"… and she dragged him before mayank could argue any further

"samrat!!!"… gunjan shouted with full rage… samrat who was eating the halwa peacefully … jerked with a shock… "arey chashmish… bache ki jaan logi kya?"… he said holding his spoon again… gunjan snachted the spoon and bowl both from his hand… "tumhe meri madad karni thi physics me…aur tum jabse aye ho bas khane par hi dheyan diye ja rahe ho??"…samrat finlly got up… "arey mai to khud ko prepare karraha hoon…energy bana raha hoon yaar!"… gunjan was totally boiling up with anger… "tum jao ihan se..abhi ke abhi ihan se chale jao…mujhe tumhari madad ki koi jarurat nahi"… gunjan was in full rage today!… "arey chashmish mujh bhagao mat na..acha chalo ye maine bowl aur spoon dono rakh diya…aur ab sirf tumhari madad karunga pakka"… he said and sat like a obedient boy!… "you better do this!"… gunajn warned him showing him finger and… "sure madam! At your service!"… samrat said … "ye lo book"…and gunajn handed him the book with a smile!

"mayank I am really sorry… dad ki tarf se mai sorry bolti hoon…tum to jante ho na uo kaise hain"… she said with tears in her eyes… mayank has been the most special friend in her life! Its true that sometime nupur can be very irritating…she can get hyper…but deep inside she was as a softie…and only mayank knew that…she could hardly keep the friendship with anyone but mayank was her true friend and she was scared that may be because of her father's attitute she will loose him too one day…"its ok nupur! …aur maine tumse kitni baar kaha hai ki choti choti baton par is tarah sad mat hua karo"… mayank was hurt but still for nupur he can do anything and the anything means anything!… "mayank…mai bohot sharminada hoon…dad ko apne business paise aur ruthbe ke uppar kuch aur dikahyi hi nahi deta…mujhe maaf kardo mayank…par pls just promise me ki tum mujhse kabhi dosti nahi toroge"… she said holding his hand… she was insecure… "oh god nupur tum kahan ki baat kahan le ja rahi ho..and how can you think like that… hum humesha dost rahenge…samjhi..aur haan tum chaho bhi na tab bhi mai tumhara peecha nahi chorne wala"… he said trying to lit up the mood… nupur also smiled and hugged him… "tum bohot ache ho mayank…bohot ache!"… mayank hugged her back with a smile!

gunjan was yawning and samrat was making her understand… after sometime when samrat looked up…he was shocked to see gunjan sleeping… "so gayi?…hmm thamk gayi may be… chalo mai bhi chalta hoon"… he was about to leave when he turned back…and saw gunajn sleeping…her head resing o her hands…some strands were coming to her face which were disturbing her peaceful sleep… samrat came back and removed those hairs… a beautiful smile came on gunjan's face as she was now conforatable… "good night chashmish"… he whispered and left with a big smile on his face!

"mayank abhi jao mujhe neend arahi hai…hum baki ka kal parenge ok"… nupur said impatiently… "arey nupur abhi to tumne shai se parna shuru kiya tha aur abhi ye"… mayank said with iriitation… "haan to mai kahin bhagi ja rahi hoon kya…baki ka kal pls na abhi mujhe neend arahi hai…aur waise bhi neend ate waqt mai kaisi parungi"… nupur said like a child!… "oh god nupur! You are just too much…tumhara kuch nahi hosakta"… mayank said disbelievingly… "arey fikar not kuch na kuch to ho hi jayega"… nupur said proudly… "haan sure…chalo abhi mai chalta hoon ok"… mayank said and after there good bye session he left… nupur escort mayank to the gate… "good night!"… mayank said showing his cute dimples… "good night idiot ab jao"… nupur after bidding good bye to mayank came inside and the sight infront of her was just beyond description…
his father was constantly calling names to her mother… he wasn't in his sense…nupur hold the gate for support as after watching this she had no strength left in herself!… "kitni baar kaha hai…us do take ke logo ko gharme mat ghusne do…par nahi tum aur tumhare bache unke saath hi rishta rakhoge..!!!… aur kab se bula raha hoon tumhe… sunai nahi deta ya sunna nahi hai…!! Haan bolo bhi ab chup kyun ho???!!!… "jee uo bache hain abhi"… she said in between her sobs… "tum to nahi ho na"… this was something that nupur never ever expected in her life…she knew that her father is a selfish kind of person but he can stoop so low ..she never ever thought… "maa!!"… her voice was chocking in her throat… he was about to hit her when samrat came and stopped him… "kya karrahein ye aap??!!!… some how he managed to rescue his mother and took her to the room… he was used to with all this but nupur wasn't…he always tried to keep her away from all this!
After samrat was sure that her mother was ok…he came outside to see nupur sitting there with shock…she was sitting like a statue there… he took a deep breath and slowly went to her and put his hand on her shoulder… "bhai…uo…usne meri maa ko…maa ko mara…uo bohot ganda hai…I hate him…bhai I hate him!"… she hugged her brother and cried out her heart… samrat didn't stop her …one day she had to know and it was better that she should know all this now… "bhai..bhai chloa…hum maa ko lekar ihan se chale jayenge… chalo bhai…hum hum yahan nahi rahenge…us insaan ke saath nahi rahenge chalo na bhai pls!!"… she was scared ..angry and god knows what and how much pian she was feeling… "sshhh!! Nups …meri baat suno"… he calmed her down… "hum yahan se jayenge…maan mai aur tum…hum yahan se bohot door chale jayenge… par abhi nahi nups…abhi humare paas jane ko koi jaga nahi…you trust me na...(she nooded in yes)…then wait…mai tumhe aur maa ko us insaan ke kaid se le jaunga…hum khushi khushi rahnge… bas kuch time aur ok"… she nooded in yes… "ab chalo you need rest!…aur jo kuch bhi hua bhool jao hmm…just concentarate on your exa,ms ok"… samrat put a kiss on her forehead and took her to her room!…this was their life… from outside it looked heavenly but as we go near we understand how difficult it is!

mayank and shilpa aunty was having dinner together…gunjan was hungry too…so she got up with difficulty and came to have dinner… "maa samrat chala gaya kya?"… she asked with yawn… "nahi nahi…uo ihan hai..par invisble hogaya hai…you know mr India"… mayank laughed at his own joke… "shut up bhai!"… she angrily said… "maa mujhe na bhuk lagi hai"…she said keeping her head on her mother's shoulder… "lagni bhi chaiye…itni parai ki hai meri beti ne…mai khila deti hoon"… she said patting her cheecks… "ahan! Maa ye na insafi hai"… mayank complained… "acha baba chalo dono ko khilaungi ok"… her mother solved all the problems… where as nupur and samrat having sleepless night her gunjan and mayank was happy with there small family in their small but pecefull house… its not necessary to have big house big car and bank balance to be happy…sometime small things can make us much happy!
