Abhay and Piya were friends now and what mattered in Piya's life now was to maintain her friendship with him' Piya did her history project alone considering Abhay was not comfortable in Pandher Fort' She did that part in co-operation with her big-brother-like Kabir' The rest of the part revolved around the forests and outskirts of Dehradun' that she managed with Abhay'
They were wandering in the forests'
Piya: Hey Abhay! This piece of forest looks ancient'we might snap up this one'?
Abhay: hmmm! You go'I'll do it!
Piya: ya! Thanks!
She was scuttling through the forest when she didn't realize that she had reached a cliff and so she tripped'She was travelling down with a great speed when a rigid body stopped her motion and she was saved'when she opened her eyes she found she was lying on the forest floor in Abhay's arms'her heart beat was still very high and she was panting with fear..so she clung to Abhay'
Abhay: shhh!
Piya: Abhay'mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai'
Abhay: shaant ho jao'you're safe'I'll never let anything happen to you'because I Love You!
Piya was half-conscious and so she couldn't register what he had spoken to her'
Abhay: chalo'tumhe ghar chod deta hoon'we'll complete our project tomorrow'
Piya: hmm'
He lifted her up and then dropped her at the Dobriyal House' He made her lie on the bed and didn't retreat before she slept'
Piya was lying at the same forest floor where she had regained her consciousness earlier that evening'The shadow was sitting next to her in place of Abhay'it was holding her hands while she panted monotonously' The shadow drew near her and whispered- I Love You Piya...
Piya mumbled in her dreams- I Love you too Abhay' Someone placed a small peck on her lips and when she got up'there was no one'She smiled and dozed off again'
The next day when she got up, she was filled with new zeal and cheeriness' She got ready fast and reached College before anyone else did'She parked her car and then waited inside for his new friend- Abhay' She went through her compiled project again so that she can show it to him'
His car parked beside Piya and he exchanged a smile with her'
Piya hugged him- Good Morning Abhay!
Abhay- hmm! Good Morning'
Piya sensed his tension'- kya hua?
Abhay- umm'nothing'! (he smiled at her)
Piya- ok'theek hai..chalo main tumhe humara project dikhati hoon'
Abhay- hmm'
Piya showed him the presentation zealously and then proceeded to the auditorium for the presentation' when she reached there she found that Abhay wasn't following her and so she searched for him'
At last she found him near the pillar talking to someone'she drew near to eavesdrop'
Voice- You're being too close to her'
Abhay- Mom'but
Voice- Stay away'or you'll endanger our entire community with your deeds'
Abhay sighed- but mom'the feelings are too loud to hide'I like her'
Voice- Abhay'try and understand'Vampires don't have the right to love'
Piya was traumatized to hear this- Vampire'! But who'who's Abhay talking to'?
Abhay- Mom' I know' but I'
Voice- Abhay' I don't wanna hear any excuses' You are a Vampire and you mustn't indulge in Love'
Abhay's head dropped down' and he sighed- Okay! Mom'I'll take care'
Voice- Now go'!
Abhay turned back and saw that Piya was standing dazed and gawking at him'
Abhay- Piya!
Her eyes were red'not with anger'but with tears' she ran away from him'she looked scared'
She didn't stop until she had reached the forests'Abhay followed her and kept calling her' At last'he tracked her and stopped her'
Piya- Abhay'I can't believe'
Abhay- let me explain! Piya'
Piya- I don't need any explanation'how could you' You're a Vampire'OMG I can't believe that I was befriending a Vampire' I just hate you'
Abhay- Chup...just shut up now...
Piya shut up at that instance though her wails didn't shut up...
Abhay caressed her tears away and hugged her... She hugged him again...
Abhay- Piya!
Piya- Abhay...I am not scared...I just am hurt...you didn't tell me...what did you think? I would tell everyone? Even if you denied? No Abhay... I am not like others...
Abhay- I know...
Piya left him and started walking away...
Abhay came near her in a millisecond and stopped her way...
Abhay- bura lagaa?
Piya replied innocently- hmmm... Piya looked away... Abhay cupped her face and turned it towards him...- I am sorry!
Piya rejected and started walking away... now she was feeling happy but in a mood to tease him... Abhay stopped her by holding her hands... Piya smiled...
Abhay- sorry na!
Piya scuttled and hugged him...and then suddenly she left him again...Abhay- Kya hua?
Piya- woh...tumhari Mom...keh rahin thi ki...
Abhay- I don't care...
Piya looked at him- Really!
Abhay- haan! I don't care...I really don't...
He knelt down at the very instant and held his right hand up...
Abhay- I Love You!
Piya was delighted to hear this and tears came in her eyes...- I Love You too...!
