Sids heart skipped a beat as he thought of his beautiful wife getting ready just for him.

'Wait Sue I'll come with you,' Sid shouted as he caught up with his sister.

As he walked beside Sue towards the stairs he suddenly remembered something.

'Sue you did invite JP and Jiggy to the wedding?'

Sue stared at her brother lovingly and with admiration. Despite all that JP and Jiggy had done to him, he still thought of them as his friends. She would never forgive them for taking Armaans side over her brothers during his problems with Ridhimma, but had done as her brother had asked.

'Bhaiyya, even though I can't understand why you would want those 2 backstabbers to come to my wedding I've still invited them just cos you asked me to. And before you ask, I invited Sister Stella as well even though I have no idea why you would want her at the wedding too! All I can say is you have a very big heart!'

Sid grinned at his sister.

'How can I not invite Sister Stella? If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have married Ridhimma in the first place. I'm grateful to her.'

As both Sid and Sue started to giggle at the memory of the actions of Sister Stella, they saw Naina and Yuvi walking towards them.

'Wow Naina! You look beautiful,'said Sid as he admired Nainas purple, figure hugging gown.

'Thump'

'Ouch!' cried Yuvi as he rubbed his arm where Naina had hit him,'what was that for?'

'Ive spent ages beautifying myself and getting ready for you and you didn't even notice how I looked. And Sid noticed straight away,' saying this she walked off indignantly, 'Don't talk to me!'

Yuvi looked at Sid as if he was about to punch him.

'Go after her you idiot!' Sid advised his best friend holding in his laughter.

'Naina! Naina you look beautiful! Sweetheart. Darling!' As an apoplogetic Yuvi ran after Naina, both the brother and sister laughed uncontrollably as they watched their friend trying to soothe his angry wife .

'And if I hear you play a single Shammi Kapoor song this evening you're going to sleep in the spare room for one month!'

Sid and Sue turned round to see Nikki scolding Abhi who was looking sheepishly at the floor.

'Im sorry sweetie,' apologized Abhi.

'Badi maa told me about your antics in the music room and how you scared all those poor aunties with your maniacal dancing to the same junglee song . If I see you.........'

As Nikki carried on admonishing Abhi, they walked past Sid and Sue. Nikki was so busy shouting at her husband that she didn't even notice the siblings. As Abhi looked up and saw them, Sid and Sue gave him a sympathetic look but he just grinned and gave them both a wink.

'Whatever you say sweetie,' and they saw Abhi gently putting his arms around his wife's waist and calming down her anger as they walked down the stairs.

Sid and Sue looked at each other and burst into hysterical laughter at the scenes they had just witnessed of the 2 harassed husbands trying to calm down their angry wives.

As they approached the girls bedroom, Sids heart started beating faster in anticipation of seeing his beautiful wife whom he hadn't seen all day. As Sue saw her brother's lovestruck face she smiled. Impulsively she hugged him.

'I hope Raj will love me as much as you love bhabhi,' she said and with that left to go to her room to get ready, leaving Sid standing outside the door ready to go in and finally be with his reason for living.

'Which one,' thought Ridhimma, 'the heavier one or the smaller one?'

She sat looking at herself in the mirror holding both necklaces in her hand confused as to which one to wear with her outfit. She wished one of the girls was there to advise her but they had both left when their respective husbands had come knocking at the door to get them. As she sat contemplating her dilemma, a sudden serenity descended on her heart. A beautiful smile formed on her lips. She knew instinctively that her cute Doctor was standing outside the door. As she got up and swung round expectantly, she saw the handle of the door turn''

Sid slowly turned the door of the handle and walked in. His breath caught in his throat as he saw Ridhimma standing, waiting for him. She looked breathtaking in her light pink sari embroidered throughout with a glittering silver thread. Her long, beautiful hair hung loosely over her shoulders full of soft curls. He had never seen anything so beautiful!

They both stared at each other for a few moments drinking in each others faces. Then slowly Sid walked towards his stunning wife holding her soft, brown eyes with his own. As he neared her, Ridhimma turned round to face the mirror, putting the 2 necklaces back on the dresser. Sid seemed to know exactly what she was asking him to do and he gently picked the smaller necklace and brought it upto Ridhmmas neck. Their eyes met in the reflection of the mirror and they gave each other a loving smile. As Sids hand pushed aside her hair from her neck, Ridhimma shivered and gave a slight gasp and slowly closed her eyes. Sid gently placed the necklace on her neck and fixed the clasp at the back. Slowly he brought his lips towards Ridhimmas neck, and as she felt his warm breath on her skin, she bit her lip in anticipation. She leaned back against his chest as Sid held her by her waist and kissed her softly on the neck.

Slowly Ridhimma turned round and wound her arms round his neck. Sid pulled her towards him by her waist and they stood hugging each other tightly, losing themselves in each other. They stood there holding on to each other without a care in the world. Sid hid his face in his wife's soft hair breathing in her flowery scent which he had missed all day. Ridhimma patiently waited for her husband to step back. Sid had once told her that he never tired of holding her in his arms and from that day on, she never broke the hug first.

Finally, Sid reluctantly stepped back. He looked deep into the eyes of his soulmate.

'You look beautiful .' The simple words melted Ridhimmas heart and she blushed. Sid smiled and took her tiny hand in his as he led her out through the door to the festivities that were starting below.
