Chapter 11
Well, there was a great party arranged by the college authorities, it was simply amazing, it was a shandaar party and all the teens were having so much fun, Misha was dancing crazily to her favorite song, We are who We are, she was cerainly enjoying it, Piya was having a cool drink, quietly seated on a chair and giggling watching Misha dance. Misha had drunk atleast 9 pegs now, and it now was showing its pura asar.. the next song suited Misha's state- Dancing crazy by Miranda Cosgrove.
While Kabir too was having fun, Piya wanted to stop Misha but realising that even in her drunken state she wouldnt anything that stupid and anyway she was there with her.. so no prob.. the only problem now for Piya was... Where the heck is Abhay.? She had been waiting for half an hour now.. she knew he was busy with his mission, but he promised that he would be with her... 'liar liar pants on fire.. argh..!' Piya thought as she was looking at her purple-black heart shaped watch for the umpteenth time... and lo there he was, Abhay, he came inside and immediately looked at Piya.. her eyes were fuming.. 'im a goner' he thought as he went closer to Piya. Piya wanted to be angry at him but as soon as he came closer to her, her heart started thumping loud and she couldnt stop herself from melting faster than a mid summer's icecream.
Abhay walked over in style and stood next to Piya, he was wearing a Blue shirt and jeans.. he was looking dashing..! He muttered, "I'm sorry..!", to which Piya told,"It's ok.. any problem..?" she asked in a concerned voice. "Yes, there is.. im going to be busy for the next few couple of days.." he said ruffling through his hair, smiling. "What problem.. maybe i can help..!" he said immediately clutching his hands,he looked surprised and then his face carved to a smile, "My dear Piya, you're with me despite my differences.. and that's enough for me" he said taking her hand and placing on his chest and gave a genuine smile. "Just tell me.. or else..or else..!!" she said stomping her foot and making a cute angry face she was not convinced one bit by Abhay's words. Abhay just smiled, "Ha.. hm.. well we have to find the clues of the damn puzzle by next full moon, before them or else... " he said looking far away.
"It is so complicated isnt it..?" she asked thinking... "Ya, the whole result is...(pause) hey yaar its a party let me be free here atleast.. i never thought i'd hear myself say this but let's party..!! Wanna dance..?" he asked looking cheerful, she told a quick 'yes' and they headed to the dancefloor, they too joined Misha, well off course they danced decently. Abhay was a good dancer, yes he would be bindass.. but to an extent, he was always careful of his character, never too jovial.. but can always be very serious, serious or not.. he had a heart of gold.. and that no matter what stood out like a diamond among the rocks, and for Piya she was all to ready to accept the rocks along with them, she had a very big heart..!
They were dancing slowly for a romantic song, Piya's arms on his shoulder and his hands on her waist swaying to the beat of the music. Mish and Kabir did notice Abhay and Piya but they knew too well that they like each other a lot and decided not to interfere.. both were understanding.. they were not the nosy kinda people.. true Kabir liked Piya.. loved her to be more exact but Piya had made it all clear that she never ever thought of Kabir in that way.. she considered him as her best buddy. It took Kabir some days to swallow the fact.. but he was trying a hell lot to stop his feelings.. and view her as a friend only and did not want to interfere in her life.
As they danced Abhay took her hand which was comforatably lying on his shoulder, gazing her eyes, he bent his head down immediately and kissed her hand. Piya's face was red, her eyes were moving all over the place and she licked her lips.. seeing the shyness in her body gestures, he pulled her up more close, his arms encircling her back tightly, she was pushed to his chest so hard that he could hear her heartbeat.. new sensations of overwhelming passion swirling in both their bodies, they both were breathing heavily and looked up at each other only to find love in their eyes for each other.
Abhay moved his head closer to hers and taking in her irresistible auroma, moved his lips near her face, Piya shivered as she felt hot breaths on her satin soft skin. Abhay kissed her on the cheek,"Abhay" she said breathing heavily, her chest was heaving up and down.. his actions were driving her crazy. He drew back searching for her reaction, he slowly loosened the grip on her back and began to dance slowly again. they were both lost in each other's eyes for the rest of the dance.
They danced for another hour or so, it was 11 in the night, and no one in the party hall even thought of heading back home, cause they were having so much fun, they had worked hard all week long, and now they just wanted to chill..
