It was 11 am and his alarm beeped. Mayank woke up and smiled. Suddenly, yesterday's memories were rushing to his mind. Nupur's hair... her beauty the moving the hair back scene was clicking his mind.Mayank: Oh my God!! Mujhe toh lag raha hai ke apna brain dry-clean kara lena chahiye. Eeks!! Mayank Malhotra... Nupur is just ur enemy. NOTHING ELSE, aur enemies ko kabhi pyar nahi kiya jata and OMG, maine toh 11 baje Nupur ko milne ka promise kiya tha. I am late, woh mujhe aaj toh maar hi dalle gi.
He rushed to the place which was promised to meet. But, what he saw was, there was no clue of Nupur. He was really scared.Mayank: Roz toh itne baje uske 10 phone aa jaate the, aaj pata nahi kya ho gaya isse. Hey bhagwan, I hope she is fine.
Then he remembered, he was the MAYANK MALHOTRA. He damn didn't care about her.
Mayank: Mayank Malhotra, control yourself, huh! U are worrying for ur biggest enemy? Oh my God!
But on a second thought, he first time had an excuse to yell at Nupur.
Therefore, he went to Nupur's room and started knocking it.
Mayank: Hey Nupur, open the door damnit. Its me, Mayank.
She didn't open the door.
Mayank knocked it again, a lil louder now.
Finally the door opened and he realistic that the door was open.
He went inside,
He saw Nupur was sitting on her bed, with a bowed head.
Mayank went to her,
He wanted to yell at her, but his heart stopped him from doing that. His heart wanted him to go and ask her what was wrong with her?
Mayank: Nupur...
He rushed to her,
Mayank: Nupur kya hua tumhe?
Nupur: Arre Mayank? OMG! I am so sorry main nahi aa payi.
Mayank: Its ok... leikin yeh kya..
He noticed tears in her eyes.
Nupur: Woh... woh kuch nahi.
She wiped her eyes and tears.
Mayank sat with her,
Mayank: Tum bhi na... Na hi ghussa chupana aata hai aur na hi tumhe ansoo chupane aate hain.
He cupped her in his left arm as his left arm hurted.
Nupur felt an unknown essence on his coming close to her, she didn't know what it was. So did Mayank, he quickly wanted to remove his arm from there but then he saw a little smile on her face and kept his arm right there.
Nupur: Arre Mayank, woh aise hi... maa ki yaad aa rahi thi.
Mayank: Nupur... tum bhaag ke ayi ho... tumhari bidai nahi hui hai samjhi!
Nupur: U joker.
She smiled.
Nupur: Aise hi yaad nahi kar sakti kya?
Mayank: Aise hi nahi... kuch toh hua hai.
Nupur: Sach mein Mayank, kuch nahi hai.
Mayank: Acha... toh phir main chalta hoon.
He was about to remove his arm when she puts her hand on his arm.
Nupur: Ruko na.
Mayank: Nupur... jab koi wajah hi nahi hai... toh mere rukne ka faida?
Nupur: Phir bhi..
Mayank: Aik shart par...
Nupur: Kya?
Mayank: Iss udaas chehre ka asli raaz batana pade ga.
Nupur: Mayank are you okay?
Mayank: Kyun?
Nupur: U are first time showing that care.
Mayank in his mind: I am first time in love with you Nupur.
Mayank: Leikin roh kyun rahi thi tum?
Nupur: Maine apne parents ko bohot hurt kiya hai na Mayank.
Mayank: Kya matlab?
Nupur: Main yun ghar se bhaag ayi.. Mom dad ne mere baare mein kya socha hoga. Main bohot buri beti hoon na Mayank.
She bursted out crying.
Mayank: Hey Nupur..
He cupped her face,
Mayank: Did they ask u a second before choosing that monster for u?
Nupur: Nahi leikin...
Mayank: Toh unhe kuch der tumhari kami mehsoos honi chahiye. Tumhare dad ko bhi pata lagna chahiye ke aik bete aur beti mein zyada fark nahi hota, khaas gar ke jab beti tumhare jaisi ho.
Nupur: Leikin Mayank...
Mayank: Sssh. Can I request for something?
Nupur: Han...
Mayank: Mujhe meri purani Nupur chahiye. Will u please give me my old Nupur? Please... I feel normal to sit with her. Tumhare saath baith kar toh aisa lagta hai ke I am sitting with a cry baby.
Nupur: Tumne mujhe cry baby bola?
Mayank: Aur nahi toh kya Hema Malini boloon? Yoon ke maine Nupur ko phir se normal kar hi diya.
He said in the typical Basanti style.
Nupur smiled.
Nupur: Tum bohot ache ho Mayank.
Mayank: Janta hoon... aur agar meri itni tareef karo gi na... toh main shock se mar jaoon ga. Try to be normal!
She playfully hits on his chest.
Mayank: Waise tum poori raat soi nahi kya?
Nupur: Woh actually... Han.
Mayank: Kyun?
Nupur: Main kuch soch rahi thi!
Mayank: OMG!
He checks Nupur's forehead for fever,
Mayank: Nupur... Tum dimagh ke baghair bhi sochti ho? Very creative han!
Nupur: Eeekkksss!! Mayank, I will literally kill you!
Mayank: 178.
He smiled and Nupur laughed.
After sometime, he felt like Nupur should rest now because she didn't for the whole night... as soon as he came out of her room.
Mayank to himself: Can't u just control yourself Mr. Mayank Malhotra. Hey Bhagwan, tu Nupur se nafrat karna gaya tha aur usse pyar karne laga. NOOO!! I am not in love with Nupur. Eeks. Nupur? NOOO NOO NOO! I hate myself!
