Chapter Twelve

Next some days Nupur and Mayank were working together. They became really good friend. Almost everyday they took their lunch and dinner together. Everyday they called each other minimum 10 times. Firstly it was only for working purpose but now it became friendly talk. Now both of them life became completely related to each other. They totally forgot others presence. One day morning……..

At Nupur's place

Nupur was sleeping. Suddenly her phone rang. She didn't see the caller name………

Nupur: ha Mayank bolo…..

Rahul: hello…..main Mayank nehi..Rahul hoon.

Nupur: oh Rahul.

Rahul: ha Rahul. Thank God ki tujhe yaad hey ki Rahul nam ka tera koyi dost bhi hey. mein ne toh socha tu bhool hi gaya.

Nupur: nehi yaar aisa kuch nehi hey.

Rahul: aisa hi hey. pichle 10 din se tune mujhe ek baar bhi call nehi kiya. Aur jab meine phone kiya phir tune mujhe koyi aur samja.

Nupur: actually iss waqt hamesha Mayank phone karta hey. toh isiliye mein ne socha ki woh hey….

Rahul: Mayank? Ye Mayank kaun hey?.....rukh yeh toh wohi hey na Oberoi Hotel ka malik….par tu toh uska shakal tak nehi dekhna chahti thi……..ab uska phone except kar rahi thi…….baat kya hey?

Nupur noticed the teasing tone in Rahul's voice.

Nupur: aisa kuch nehi hey. Actually mere next show bhi uski hotel mein hone wale hey na isiliy…

Rahul: tera first show bhi toh usi ki hotel mein huyi thi..par tab toh woh tujhe phone nehi karta……aur ab tu shubha shubha tujhe phone lkarta hey…..sach sach bata bat kya hey?

Nupur: tu jaisa soch raha hey aisa kuch nehi……hum sirf dost hey……

Rahul: rukh……mujhe hajam nehi ho raha hey….Nupur Gupta ko Rahul Khanna ki siwa koyi aur dost hey……..yeh toh breaking news hey……..b/w ye asambhav matter huya kaise?

Nupur explained him everything. How she and Mayank became friend? How good Mayank is….and how capable he is for his work.

Rahul: assa toh baat ye hey.

Nupur: ha….assa tu achanak phone kyun kiya?

Rahul:oh ha.teri ye Mayank chalisa shun k toh main bhul hi gaya ki meine phone kyun kiya tha. Actually mein bahut din tujhe mila nehi na isiliye meine aur Sneha ne ek get together plan kiya.

Nupur: par Rahul mein apna show leke bahut busy hoon….You know ye ek international show hey…..

Rahul: okay…I can understand. Better luck next time.

Nupur noticed sad tone in Rahul's voice. She felt sorry for him. Actually she also wanted to meet him. Suddenly an idea clicked in her mind.

Nupur: Pahul…hum mil sakte hey yaar….aj dinner mein.

Rahul: okay….its a good idea.

Nupur: okay then hum aj dinner pe meil rahe hey. par kaha?

Rahul: at my place.

Nupur: okay. Toh sham ko milte hey. bye.

Rahul: bye.

After talking to Rahul Nupur got ready to go to Hotel Oberoi. Only a week was left for the fashion parade.

On the other side at Oberoi Mansion

Shubhankar and Shilpa were taking there breakfast. Meanwhile Mayank came….

Mayank: Good morning mom…..good morning Dad.

Shubankar and Shilpa: good morning.

Shilpa: kya baat hey Mayu …….tu toh kam mein aisa dub gaya ki maa ko hi bhul gaya.

Mayank: aisa kuch nehi hey mom…..woh kya hey na Hotel mein ek international fashion show ho raha hey.usi ki tayari mein busy hey.

Shubanka: very good my son. Tumhe aisa dekh kar mein bahut khush hoon. I'm proud of you.

Shilpa: mein ne kaha tha na ki mera beta shudar jayega…ap aise hi use data karte the.

Shubankar: ha…ye baat toh tum ne sahi kaha.

Mayank: actually maa mein aisa hi nehi badla….kisi ne mujhe ehsas dilaya ki success ki khushi kaisi hoti hey……

Shilpa: assa….kaun hey wo jo meri bete ko badal diya jara hum bi toh jane.

Mayank: uska nam Nupur hey.

Shilpa: Nupur? Assi nam hey. par ye Nupur hey kaun aur tujhe kaha mila?

Mayank explained everything to his parents. How they met, how they fight, how Nupur challenged him and how they became friend.

Shilpa: hm…….toh ye baat hey. iss ladki se toh ab milna hi padhega. Kab mila raha hey teri iss dost se.

Mayank: bahut jald…..assa mein chalti hoon nehi toh Nupur mujhe kaccha chaba jayegi…

Mayank left the home. Shilpa Oberoi was smiling……

Shilpa: ab toh iss Nupur se milna hi padhega…..mein bhi toh dekhu isme aisa kya hey jo mera beta itna badal gaya……..

At Hotel Oberoi

Mayank and Nupur both were working very hard. There was lots of work. But in spite of hving so many works they never forgot to talk with each other. During the work they talked to each other…..

Mayank: meri maa tumse milna chahti hey.

Nupur: kyun?

Mayank: woh dekhna chahti hey ki kaun hey jo uski bete ko badal diya.

Nupur: assa.thik hey milte hey.

Mayank: toh aj raat ko chale.

Nupur: Sorry….actually Mayank aj raat ko mera kahi aur plan hey.

Mayank: okay. Then phir kabhi. b/w kya plam hey?

Nupur: mein apne friend k ghar ja rahi hoon.

Mayank: that's good.

Nupur: Mayank…..agar tum chaho toh mere sath a sakte ho. It'll be fun.

Mayank: okay.

Then they engrossed into their work again. At the evening they both went for Rahul's place………
