In the east of Panhmeshwar lives the Sharma family.The house were they reside is known as the "Palace of Panchmeshwar."The house has a royal look. It is almost 60 years old but still it is the biggest and most expensive house of Panchmeshwar.It was built by Anand Sharma. Now here lives Rajat Sharma with his three sons and grandchildren.Rajat Sharma
is a very powerful man of Panchmeshwar.He looks after his ancestors business. He is a very strict man and never compromises with his principles. People of Panchmeshwar respect him very much and he has an influence on them.
Gunjan's Entry
It is 3 a.m. Panchmeshwar is fast asleep.The white marbles in the wall of "Anand(Hapiness) palace" are shining like diamonds in dark. Though the name of the house is Anand but happiness only prevails among the male members of the house.The females do not have the right to be happy.Right now the youngest female member of the house is rolling on her bed.She is not able to sleep.How will she?Tomorrow is the biggest day of her life.He and his family are coming to see her.And after that her life will never be same as before.She will be no more be Gunjan Sharma.She will become Mrs.Gunjan Khanna.She suddenly became shy and got up.After washing her face she started to apply Haldi on her face. Today she has no work.Her only work is to adorn herself for him.She looked at the jewelries and the sari which she will wear today. She thought if Didi was here today she would have said,"Tujhe Itni Sajne Ki Kya Jaroorat Hai.Tu To Hai Itni Khoobsurat Ki Duniya Ki Sare Jebar Tere Samne Sharma Jati Hain."She smiled and looked in the mirror. A 5'7'' slim girl is standing. She is extremely farther long straight hair has reached her knees recently.Gunjan tied her hair in a plait. It is not allowed for unmarried girls to leave their hair open while the married women need to cover their head always in their house. Once Gunjan got a slap from Dadaji for leaving her hair open. The women in her house have to follow a lot of rules. They need to get up before the sun rises, make breakfast for the males, serve them and then do all the household chores. They are not even allowed to eat before their partners. It is a big sin to go outside without any male member. They can only read up to college.Gunjan has just finished her college and now it is forbidden for her to go outside the house. Though Gunjan is never interested in studies still she wants to go to college to meet her friends. She has thought she will ask her husband to take her to her friends. But will her husband agree? What if he turns out to be like the males of her house? The male members of her house are very strict and dominating. She has never seen her father to smile at her mother or wipe her mother's tears. Instead he beats her mother often. And her mother never minds. But Gunjan minds. She wants a friend, a companion in the form of her husband.Gunjan is a very romantic girl deep inside unlike her other sisters. She believes in love and considers it to be the most important thing in her life. She wants lots of love from her husband. But will he be like her dream man? Afterall he is from a family like hers.Gunjan's marriage is fixed with Angad from childhood.She has never seen him.She doesn't know anything about him.She wants to know him.But she knows it is not possible.The girls of her family are not allowed to know anything about their husbands.Their only business is to wear heavy jewelleries, expensive saris and look after their husbands. But Gunman wants a companion not a Hitler in the name of husband. She opened her diary and started to write the letter. For past 6 years she is writing a letter to her dream man. She plans to gift this diary to him when she will confess to him. This will be the longest letter written by a lover. She has named her diary SaJan(Companion).She suddenly realized that her mobile is vibrating. Her face lightens up as she looked at her phone. She switched off the phone. She can not talk now. Mom will come anytime. Nobody should know that she has a phone.
5 a.m.The sun has just spread its golden rays in the dream city of India, Mumbai.Mumbai is that place were people come to fulfill their dreams."Sapna" a ladies hostel of Mumbai.Lots of girls from all over India who have come to Mumbai to fulfill their dreams live here.Right now one of them is standing in the balcony of the hostel.She said to herself,"Best of luck Kripa..Today is a big day for you."She then smiled and thought if Gunjan was here she would have wished her luck.But Gunjan her younger sister is not with her.She is calling her for the past two hours but that Darpok has switched off the phone.She unknowingly shivered while thinking about Gunjan."God knows how is my lil sister living in that jail called Anand Palace.Kripa has left Anand Palace 5 years ago.It was her wedding day when she eloped from the house.Kripa was not like other girls of her house.From childhood she was unable to adjust with the atmosphere of her house.She couldn't see her mother getting beaten up by her father.She is very good at study.She wanted to go to Mumbai as she got a scholarship.But her Dadaji didn't give her permission.Instead her wedding was fixed with an unknown man.She tried to convince her Dadaji but everything went to vain.But marriage was not her cup of tea.She doesn't believe in marriage or in that stupid emotion love.So she eloped from her mandap.Later she knew Dadaji had performed her Shrad(Last ritual) that day.The family except Gunjan considers her dead.They never tried to find out how is she.After finishing her basic degree she engaged herself in singing.Singing was her life.But she was never allowed to sing in her house.
Kripa came out of her hostel.She was wearing a white T-shirt and a fade blue zeans.She loves plain and simple looks.Ornaments and saree are a big no for her.
Samrat's Entry
A motorcycle which was going in full speed stopped at her.Kripa sat on the motorcycle.The motorcycle again started at full speed.
Kripa-Kitni baar Kaha hai Itni Speed Se Mat Chalao.Tum Mere Ek Bhi Baat Nahin Mante Ho Sam.
Sam-Itna Socho Maat.Zindagi Ka Maaza Lo.
Kripa knew Sam was not going to listen to him.He does not listen to anybody.Sam,Samrat Shergil a 25 years old man whom Kripa met in her singing class.Initially Kripa hated him.He is a very very talkative guy and flirts with almost every girl.Kripa was not able to stand him even for one second.Once she had left her phone in the class.Next day Sam returned it to her.When she was about to say thanks Sam said,"What a boring girl you are.There was not a single SMS of yor boyfriend in your phone." "What you checked my phone"Kripa shouted."Yes I did.I am very sad to know that such a beautiful girl like you does not have a boyfriend."said Sam."Shut Up"Kripa said.But Sam never stopped talking.Slowly they became good friends.And now Sam is Kripa's best friend.Sam is a happy go lucky guy.He never takes any tension.Whenever Kripa is in pain Sam cracks jokes.Kripa hated his jokes but loved him as a friend.She considers herself lucky to have him.Samrat's father owns a music company.Today Kripa is going their to give an interview.if they like her voice she will be selected to sing their new song.Kripa is excited and nervous.She is feeling her life is going to change forever.
