I remebered a punjabi poem while reading Shiv's part.....it goes like this...

Maen kal lafj chunda si.

Maenu duniya di har ik cheez lafj lagdi hae.
Akhaan de lafj,
Hathaan de lafj.

Par bullaan de lafj samaj naheen aunde ne.
Maenu sirf lafj parhne aunde ne,
Maenu sirf lafj parhne aunde ne.

******************************************

This is the translation:

Yesterday, I was collecting words.

Every single thing in this world looks like a word to me.
The words of eyes,
The words of hands.

But I do not understand words I hear from a mouth.
I can only read words.
I can only read words.

You know I love it when you write like this...

I was having a conversation this morning with someone from another forum about the way a man looks at a woman. I was telling her that it's very comforting for me to catch my hubby looking at me, at random times, where I can feel his love through his eyes. I thought of this when reading the second part of this update. Will Shiv and Gauri ever get to that point where there are no questioning looks? Just love and contentment? Where all it will take is a look, and both will feel at ease... I wish this for all couples and feel incredibly blessed to have this peace in my life.
