Part 18
The restaurant was a small but ambiance was nice. Maan held the chair for Geet to sit. Finally both settled down with their chairs and they ordered food, it was a Thai restaurant. Maan loves Thai food.
"Geet, let's order first, did you like anything from the menu."Maan says.
Geet was so hungry that she dropped the idea to order appetizer and she directly wanted to order a la carte.
"Yes Maan, I am thinking to have Panang Curry and what are you having?"Geet asks.
"Oh really, what a coincidence, Panang Curry is also my favorite dish, in fact, whenever I go to Thai restaurant, I order Panang Curry most of the time, so finally we have something in common."Maan says.
"Oh I think we have one more thing in common."Geet says.
"Oh really, and what is that?"Maan asks.
"We both like to fight all the time."Geet says with smile.
"Geet, it is not correct, I never fight with anyone, you are the one who wants to fight."Geet says.
"See, I knew it, you never accept it."Geet says.
Finally Panang Curry was served to both of them. Both have started eating it happily and they literally got busy with eating that they stopped talking.
Background music was going on in a restaurant.

"Geet, I didn't know that you were so hungry that you have almost finished your food, looks like you want to order more."Maan says.
"Maan, yes I was hungry but look at you, you have almost finished your food, so I was not the only one who was eating crazily."Geet says.

"Geet, looks like you definitely want to eat more."Maan says.
"Maan, I want to eat dessert but I really feel full, I can't eat more, I may not be able to finish my entire dessert dish."Geet says.
Maan somehow felt that if Geet wants to eat dessert then we must order it, the smile on her face looks really nice and it gave some relax feeling in Maan's heart.
"Geet, we'll share it, let's order."Maan says.
"Maan, I can't."Geet says.
"Geet, I also want to eat it, I want to have dessert."Maan says with emphasize.
Geet got surprised by his reaction; he didn't want to change his mind.
So without further arguments with Maan, Geet ordered coconut rice pudding, her favorite one.
Geet started eating.
Maan was staring at her and Geet was enjoying her food.
Maan just couldn't grasp her beauty, her eyes were like sunflowers, her cheeks were like roses, her lips were like strawberries, and her smile was like Beethoven's music. It was impossible to capture this beauty with eyes, and words were less to describe it, using all senses also, nobody could describe it.
The way she was eating like the way a kid enjoys a candy, if she is around, each day feels like a rainbow with all the colors in it.
"Maan, I have finished half and now half is yours."Geet says.
Maan was so lost and he didn't notice what she was saying.
Geet waved her hands in front of his eyes but he was completely hypnotized.
Finally Geet stood up and he went near to Maan and pointed her finger on his shoulder. Finally Maan came to his senses.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Geet, vooo too main kuch soch raha tha (actually I was thinking something), I was thinking about one deal which I have to sign tomorrow, oh so you finished your half part and let me finish my half now."Maan says and he started eating the remaining half.
Maan thinks, "What was wrong with me? What was I thinking? I am sure I need to visit a doctor."
Geet was watching Maan eating, his hawking eyes, arched brows, strong hair, unshaved look, captivating smile and his dashing personality.
Both were lost in each other's eyes. There was nothing which could stop them; they were reached in to a different world, a world without boundaries, without barricades and without responsibilities where you can be yourself, where you can enjoy the freedom.
After a while, both came back to reality, the sensation which they felt was inexplicable.
Both were definitely attracted to each other but both have decided to ignore their feelings.
Maan dropped Geet at her home after dinner.
Geet went to bathroom to get ready, she was washing her face, seeing herself in a mirror, which reminded an incident, when Brij had beat her and she wasn't able to look at her face in the mirror for a week. Her face reminded the pain she went through, the promises she made to herself and her bright future ahead. She wanted to bury all her pain in the corner of her heart and wanted to move ahead in the life.
Geet went to her bed but she was changing sides as she couldn't fell asleep instantly. Her heart was wrenching with the various ideas and possibilities of her life as well as her past. The more and more she tried to forget her past, the harder and harder it became. Even though Maan belonged to her past, but there was something about him, which was forcing her to be connected with him. She couldn't understand this. And on the other side, she got Sameer, who had been a knight in a shining armor for her who had helped her to go through challenges of her life and who turned the path of thorns in to a flower bed. She liked Sameer but she wasn't good at analyzing feelings of people and intentions of people. She didn't want to get into those shoes where she didn't know what to choose. She left everything else on destiny. She thought that she wanted to know what was written in her destiny in advance if she could but she realized that Sahadeva didn't achieve anything by knowing in advance.
When she reached to office next day, she saw an envelope on her desk and one box, she opened the envelope first.
"Dear Geet, Good Morning.
To make your day wonderful, it has to start with some sweets.
There is a box of Godiva chocolates for you.
To make your evening even more beautiful, we could go to red fort together.
I am sure you must be chewing your teeth right now with the confused expression, and besieged by hundreds of questions, why red fort, why chocolates, etc.
But believe me; it is better to chew chocolates than teeth, so that your dentist won't have any complaints.
Yesterday Shasha told me that you haven't been to Red Fort yet hence I thought I should give you this pleasure as I want to see your enigmatic eyes when you will look at the most beautiful monument of Delhi because your eyes will be more beautiful at that moment than the monument itself. I want to see that monument through your eyes. The reflection of monument in your eyes will fill my vision of it.
Give me a chance to serve you one evening as a tourist guide.

Geet was overwhelmed by reading this letter. Her respect for Sameer reached at another level. She couldn't deny invitation for Red Fort after reading this letter as she didn't want to hurt Sameer's feelings.
Sameer has a special place in Geet's heart and she can't hurt Sameer.
She thinks, "Babaji, I don't know who can write letter like this, he has such a big heart."
