Part 16

Geet, Shasha and Pinkey reached to club. Surprisingly the entire office staff was there. Geet got surprised to see the entire office staff, Sameer and Jay.

Geet was curious to know what was going on. They were all standing near the bar and everybody was having some drink and talking, Geet was having coke while everybody was drinking alcohol.

"Sameer, what's going on? Why are you guys here? Is there any special occasion today?"Geet asks.

"Geet, yes of course, today is a special day and you are the main reason behind it."Sameer says.

"Sameer, me, what did I do? I am not clear."Geet says.

Finally Sameer and Jay announced in front of the office staff that Geet is promoted to the assistant manager and she is going to assist Sameer directly.

Geet felt so happy with the promotion. She didn't expect that it was going to happen so soon.

Sameer continues "Geet deserves what she got today, she is the reason behind our last two successful big deals, clients were really impressed by her work, we really appreciate hardworking employees hence we should also give them back whatever they deserve, the entire office staff is really happy to have Geet with Asian Paints."

Party got over and Geet went to sleep and today she got a good sleep, she felt the sense of achievement for herself. This is the first step towards her dream.

The next day, Sameer was waiting for her in the office to show her new cabin, now Geet got a cabin. She felt happy while sitting on her new chair and Sameer felt more satisfied and happy by looking at happy Geet.

Suddenly one desire came into his mind, he wants to see Geet always happy and always in front of his eyes, he is satisfied with his achievement and his life but the one thing he is missing is partner who can make his life worth living. He doesn't want to spend his entire life without holding somebody's hands to feel the warmth, without feeling the sense of security.

He decided to know Geet's viewpoint on this before taking any further step. He doesn't know though how to approach Geet for this; he was worried about her reaction.
Sameer, the successful business man, never had fear of anything but for the first time, he is scared of something.

Geet was enjoying her new cabin and new computer. She was working on a project when her phone rang.

"Hey Geet, its Maan, I just wanted to know when do we want to start working on our new project, do you have time today evening, we can probably meet in my office."Maan says.

Geet was juggling with different stuff at the same time, she was working on her computer on one excel file, she had one file in her hand to read and Maan's call. She didn't think much and she decided to say yes.

"Maan, sure, I will come to your office at 6 pm."Geet says.

Maan got surprised by her response, he was expecting that Geet will argue and it will take much time to convince her. He was kind of missing her annoying talk on phone today.

Afte hanging up the phone, Maan also got busy with his work and client's meeting.

Finally Geet was at his office at sharp 6 pm where Maan was already waiting for her.

They started working on the project, first they had to figure out some numbers and then preparing a power point presentation.

Maan looked at Geet and he realized that she is smiling for no reason.

"Geet, can you concentrate on work or you are still busy showing your teeth, we are not here for some Colgate advertisement, so please stop laughing for no reason and let's get back to work."Maan says.

"Maan, you always have an allergy from smile, I know that, so you can take a pill to work on your allergy but please let me smile, because it was a great day for me."Geet says.

"Geet, I don't have any allergy, and yes I am not mad that I will smile for no reason and ya why you are happy? Did you meet your favorite actor, Shahrukh Khan today that you are happy or you lose your boring job today hence you are happy?"Maan says.

"Maan, first of all let me make myself clear that my favorite actor is not Shahrukh Khan but Ranbir Kapoor and I really didn't meet him today, but I have other things also which can make me happy and by the way my job was not at all boring, I got promoted and now I am an assistant manager, well you won't understand this that small things also can give you big happiness."Geet says.

Maan was staring at her while she was talking and he became speechless, he was mesmerized by her smile, her big eyes, and now he likes her annoying non-stop talking, her talks fills his empty life with happiness. Geet was standing little further but he took three steps towards her, Geet was still talking and she didn't realize that Maan is so close to her.

Maan was just a step further from Geet, Maan was completely lost and he didn't know what he was doing. Geet stopped talking and she started shivering, she got surprised by looking at Maan, she couldn't speak anything, she lost her senses, she blacked out, she didn't know what to do but she was sort of enjoying this feeling, she wanted to stop the time, she felt the warmth which she was missing in her life.

Love triangle forming! Love it!!! This was so good and thanks for updating!!!! YAY!! Geet got promoted!!! Excited for the next update!!!!!!!!!!!

Awsome yay both have feelings for eachother bring manneet more close sammeer is a nice guy but manneet will be good together hope to see them together soon....
