Now it's the girl's turn to introduce herself, but as she is about to move forth she shrieks: "ouch!!"

She feels a hard tug in the lower end of her beautiful black and silky hair. All, except Aryan, are shocked to hear her scream. The board of directors also get up from their seats. Nisha goes behind her to see what has happened while Antara holds her hand and stand by her.

Riddhima: "Baat kya hain DR. Nisha?"

Nisha: "Mam kisine iske baal is parde se latakti string ke saath baandh diya hain."

Ridhima (in an extremely shocked tone): "Kya??? Aur aisi harkat kiski hain? Kisne kiya yeh jaldi batao."

Riddhima: "Fine. Pehle koi inki baal kholiye. Then I'll see to it."

Aryan, who has been enjoying the entire scenario till now and struggling really hard to keep his face straight, now makes an advance.

Aryan: "Main kholta hu Ma'm."

Saying this he walks to the girl and then goes behind her and starts untying her hair. While doing it he deliberately pulls her hair.

The girl: "ouch!! Kya kar rahe ho?"

Aryan: "Tumhari baalon ko kholne ki koshish. Aur kya? Ab chup chap khari raho."

And finally he unties her hair. After untying her hair, as he is passing by her side he whispers in her ear: "Ise kehte hain jaise ko taisa. Kyun kaisa laga? Maja aaya?"

Her mouth fell open with astonishment but she soon resumes her self control. Her eyes become narrow with anger and she whispers back: "This is not the end. Tumhein iska jawzab jaroor milega. You just wait and watch."

Aryan (smiling confidently): "Don't worry I will."

And he walks past her with an air of superiority and deliberately pulls up the collar of his T-shirt a little.

The girl clenches her hands and stomps her feet on the floor and speaks through gritted teeth: "Urgh! I hate this guy!"

Ridhima (in a concerned tone): "Are you okay?"

The girl: "Ya mam. I..I'm fine now. Thanx."

Ridhima smiles sweetly: "That's great. Then please come here now and give your self introduction."

However, the girl is in no mood for any such formalities at the present moment as she is burning with rage and experiencing a strong urge to avenge herself. She while waking past Aryan, turns to him and glowers at him with eyes burning with rage and an intense desire for revenge.

The girl thinks in her mind: "you just wait Dr.Aryan. You'll have to pay for this, I promise."

She walks towards Ridhima with a fake smile plastered on her face as her insides are burning with rage. She walks over to the mike and begins her self introduction, though in brief.

The girl (In a sweet, melodious voice): "Hello everyone I'm Dr.Aarzoo. I thank the board of directors of Sanjeevani for giving me the oppurtunity to work in the best hospital of the country and I assure you that I will try my best to live up to your expectations and prove myself to be worthy of your choice. Thank you."

Once again the hall is echoed with another round of applause.

Now once again Dr.Shashank takes over the mike: "So welcome doctors and once again wish you all the best from the whole team of Sanjeevani. We are like a family here and welcome the new members to our family."

All the interns toghether: "Thank you Sir."

Shashank: "lets get back to work then."

With this the assembled staffs of Sanjeevani begin to disperse and soon the board of directors also begin to descend the steps of the stage followed by the interns.

While descending the steps, Aarzoo and Aryan glared at each other with equal loathing.

As they come out of the room, Priya smiles and tiptoes to Aryan who is in front of her and covers his eyes from behind with her palms.

At first Aryan is confused but then he raises his hand to touch the hands covering his eyes and his palms make contact with the back of the palms covering his eyes, trying to understand whose hands it can be and suddenly his fingers get brushed with the edge of an apparently very sharp bracelet, a smile of recognition creeps onto his lips.

Aryan (smiling sweetly): "Chal haat goondi."

Priya laughs with joy and yet in astonishment: "Bhondu. Tujhe kaise pata chala main hi hu?"

Aryan laughs back: "Bahut asan hain. Tu ne yeh jo larko jaisa bracelet pehen rakhi hain na yehi kaafi hain tujhe pakarwane ke liye. Larkiyon ka haath aur bracelet larko jaise yeh meri goondi ke alawa toh koi aur ho hi nehi sakti."

Priya starts laughing: "lomri kahika! kya dimaag chalta hain tera! Ufff!!"

Aryan also starts laughing and both the friends pull each other into a tight embrace.

The other six interns are, however, quite surprised to know that these two are already well aquainted with each other and it can easily be deduced from their conversation that they know each other for years.

Antara cant refrain herself from pouring out her curiosity: "Kya tum dono ek doosre ko pehle se jante ho?"

Both Aryan n Priya laughs. It is Aryan who answers: "pehle se? haan kaafi pehle se jante hain hum ek doosre ko. Jab hum paanch saal ke the tab se. We are each other's childhood bestfriends."

Arjun: "Wow childhood friends? Fir toh tum dono mere aur antara ke tarah hi honge. Are you guys engaged?"

Aryan laughed in disbelief: "Engaged? What nonsense! Hum dono ek dusre ke best friends hain par yeh pyar vyar ke chakkar dur dur tak nehi hain bhai."

Priya laughed too: "Yup hum dono toh ek dusre ke best buddies hain. Humasafar nehi. Okay!"

Instead of Arjun its Aarzoo who replies bitterly: "Quite obvious. Is jaise baddimag larke se koi pyar karega bhi nehi."

This adds fuel to fire and Aryan retorts back with equal bitterness: "Jo khud jaisa hota hain dusro ko bhi apne jaisa hi samjhta hain. Maine suna tha yeh aaj toh sabut bhi mil gaya."

Aarzoo: "What? tumne mujhe badimag kaha?"

Aryan: "Actually u r rite. Mujhe toh do aur adjectives add karna tha lekin main bhool gaya tha. Thanx for reminding actually. Baddimag toh tum ho hi par saath hi bewakoof aur bigri hui bhi ho."

Aarzoo clenches her fists with rage: "Oh please yahan sabko pata hain ke tumhare paas yeh jo chota sa dimag ke naam par khali upri manjil hain iski saari taakat tumhara naam yaad rakhne mein hi chala jaata hain. toh kuch aur, chahe wo accha ho ya bura, yaad kaise rahega? Aur fir baddimag log bhi who hote hain jinke paas dimaag hota hain lekin tumhare paas toh dimaag hain hi nehi. So u r rite actually and I'm so sorry ki maine tumhein baddimag kaha. Main baddimag logo ka itna bara insult kaise kar sakti hu! Tumhein baddimag aur bewakoof kehna toh un bechare logo ka bhi insult hoga. (Then she makes a face as if asking for forgiveness) Duniya ke saare baddimag aur bewakoof log mujhe maaf kar do maine isko yeh kehkar aap logo ki kitni bari insult ki. So Sorry. "

Aryan, who is fuming with rage, is about to retort back but just then it has been announced that all interns should report to the nurse station after half an hour.

Gaurav: "Common guys larna baad mein tum dono. Abhi humein pehle locker room jaana hain aur uske baad nurse station pe report karna hain. We have got to rush now."

Thinking it to be better to take away Aryan with her as she knows his anger, Priya slides her arm throug his and holding it almost pulled him away with her. While Arzoo and Nisha leaves toghether, closely followed by Arjun and Antara and Gaurav and Harsh.

(Locker room)

All the eight interns enter the locker room which from now on will be a kind of club for them to gather and chatter whenever they will have free time.

Priya takes the initiative to establish friendship between the little known people who from now onwards will be like a family in Sanjeevani.

Priya: "Okay guys chalo ab hum sab dost ban jaate hain. Ek doosre ka naam toh hum jante hi hain bas dosti karni hi baaki hain."

All shake hands with and greet each other and also wish best of luck for it is their first day at work. However, not all actually. As it can well be predicted from their very first meeting, the two steadfast foes, i.e Aryan and Aarzoo, neither greet each other nor extend hands of friendship to each other. While they are absolutely sweet and agreeable with all the others, they are particularly bitter towards each other.

Everyone put their belongings in their respective lockers.

Gaurav: "waise Aryan tujhe kya lagta hain yaar? Kaisi hoga humara "first day at work"?"

Nisha: "Haan mujhe toh already bahut nervous feel ho raha hain."

Aarzoo, who has been standing beside nisha, says in an attempt to calm her down: "Arey isme nervous hone wali kaun si baat hain? Hum sab hain na. Saath milke sab kuch samhal lenge."

Instead of Nisha, it is Aryan who replies back: "haan nisha aur agar tum kisi musibat mein aayi na toh dekhna tumhein sabse pehle chorke bhagne wali yehi tumhari advisor hogi."

Aarzoo: "Jo khud bhagaurey hotey hain na Nisha wo sabko apne tarah bhagaurey hi samajhta hain. Darpok yeh itna hain ki isko toh himmat ki baatein karney se bhi darr lagata hain aur jealous itna ki koi aur kisiko himmat de toh wo bhi bardasht nehi hota."

Now Aryan turns back to face her: "What? Main darpok aur jealous hu? Aur tum kya ho haan? Jiddi aur ghamandi."

Aarzoo: "Accha aur tum kam kya ho haan? Tumhein toh yeh bhi nehi pata ki politeness kis chiriya ka naam hain. Rudeness toh kut kut ke bhara hain tummein. Baat karne ka andaaz aur dhang kesaath toh tumhara dur dur tak koi vaasra hi nehi hain."

Aryan: "Accha aur tum bari polite ho hain na? bina baat ki humesha larne lag jaati ho. Jhagralu kahi ki!"

Aarzoo: "Jhagralu? Main jhagralu hu? Har baar toh tum pehle jhagra suru karte ho. Akru, kharush, saru kahi ke!"

However, the verbal skirmish which may have prolonged had there been no interruptions, comes to an end as a cheerful voice echoes in the locker room.

The voice: "Arey arey yeh kya hospital se jang - e ' maidaan ban gaya hain? Aur tum dono dost ho ya janmo ke dushman? Aise ek doosre ke khoon ke pyase kyun ho bhai?"

Startled by the voice, all the interns turn back to the entrance of the locker room.

Dr. Armaan mallik is standing there with hands folded around his chest and an amused grin playing on his lips.

All the eight interns feel a bit awkward and they smoothly positioned themselves in the right way.

However, Armaan grins to see the alertness in their faces: "Arey itne attention marke khare hone ki koi baat nehi hain. Main koi millitary ka chief commander toh hu nehi aur nahi hitler hu ki tum logo ko kha jaunga. Haan yeh baat alag hain ki main tum sab ka senior doctor hu but I'm still very young u see. Just like u all. Wo kya hain mere good look aur charm ko dekhte hue mujhe promotions thore jaldi mil gaye."

His casual and cordial tone has the desired effect and the interns relax and a smile of relief creeps onto their lips.

Armaan smiles back to them: "Hmmm'. Yeh hui na baat. Aap sab mujhe apna dost hi samjhiye. Okay?"

All the interns: "Yes Dr.Mallik."

Now Armaan turns to Aryan and Aarzoo: "Haan toh janmo ke dushman. Tum dono ne kaha nehi kis baat pe ek doosre ki khoon ke pyase ban gaye the?"

Both Aryan and Aarzoo feel a little embarassed. They have no answer to give as they had been fighting apparently out of no reason.

Seeing that both are quiet and sensing the reason of their silence, Armaan smiles: "hmmm'..toh lagta hain tum dono bewajah hi bina kisi baat ke lar rahe the. Kyun hain na? Waise tum dono ke is larai ne mujhe kuch yaad dila diya."

Arjun: "Kaun si baat Dr.Mallik?"

Armaan smiles: "Well aaj se kareeb 20 saal pehle Sanjeevani mein do interns ne join kiya tha. Pehle hi din se wo dono ek dusre ke jaani dushman ban gaye the. Jaise ki Aryan aur Arzoo ban baithe hain. Humesha larna, jhagarna aur ek doosre ko sabak sikhana. Aur fir aise hi larte, jhagarte un dono ko pata hi nehi chala ke kab dushmani dosti mein aur dosti pyar mein badal gaya. Toh Aryan aur Aarzoo itna bhi mat laro warna pyar ho jayega."

Aryan and Aarzoo both shriek toghether: "pyar?? Aur wo bhi isse? No way!"

And both turn their back to each other with their arms crossed around their chests.

Armaan smiles and thinks in his mind: "Well buddies you have entered the forbidden line and this is the first step."
