PART 7:

Riddhima was crying in her moms arms as she was leaving them all. She was going to go to her so called sasural where she would have to live for the rest of her life. Not knowing what her future held for her. She bid bye to all with tears as it was time to leave. At last when she approached Shashank to take his blessings, he just turned to other side and went away pretending to be talking on the phone without even looking at her. Riddhima felt like the earth had been snatched from beneath her feet. She kept staring at his retreating figure and did not move from there until Muskaan came and held her shoulders and took her to the car where Armaan was already sitting inside not caring of her inner turmoil. Muskaan made Riddhima sit inside and she also sat next to her knowing that she would need her. Ananya and Billy sat in the middle and they all left after the finally bidding bye to all.

They journey was a silent one where all were deep in their own thoughts except Armaan as he had his ipod ear plugs in his ears and rested his head on the back rest and had slipped in to a deep slumber.

By the time they reached Mumbai, it was night, they all just had a light dinner and retired to their rooms. When Armaan entered his room after sometime, he saw that Riddhima was already there and was sleeping in a corner of the bed with pillows in the middle. He just made a face like as if he cared but frowned thinking what is she doing here and then the thought came that he would have to pretend like a husband in front of his parents due to Muskaan and cursed her under his breath and went inside the bathroom and freshened up. Then he went and slept on the other side of the bed carelessly.

Next morning.

Riddhima woke up with a jerk as she had a bad dream but could not remember it. She just held her head tight in her hands for sometime and looked around her. She then remembered everything what ever happened in the last 2 days and shed few tears. She looked to her side and saw Armaan sleeping there and she got out of the bed immediately due to her raising anger and did not want to look at him so she went to get freshened.

She walked downstairs and saw Billy sitting on the dining table reading a newspaper. When he heard some foot steps he looked at her and could make out from her face that how nervous she was feeling. Riddhima came near him and bent to take his blessings. He smiled at her and blessed her.

Ridz: Good morning uncle.

Billy: He smiled at her and said good morning. Par aaj se tum mujhe uncle mat bulaya karo. Ab tum hamari beti ho toh tum mujhe dad ya papa bulao. Theek hai.

Ridz: she nodded her head but still did not look in his eyes.

Billy: kya hua beta, any problem.

Ridz: ji……. woh, Muskaan di nazar nahi aarahi.

Billy: Arre who usse Delhi mein ek conference attend karni thi toh who subah jaldi nikal gayi.

Ridz: oh. Kab ayegi who.

Billy: Kal subah ajayegi, kyu kuch kaam tha kya. Tum mujhse kehsakti ho if u want anything ya phir Ananya andar puja mein hain tum usse bhi keh sakti ho ok?

Ridz: she did not know what to say and kept quite.

Billy: Dekho beta ab jo hua hai hum usse badal toh nahi sakte. Lekin hum koshish toh zaroor karenge na ki jo galti ki hai usse sambhalne ke liye.

Ridz: She was confused and did not know what he was saying at first and then she thought if he knew anything about them and did Muskaan tell him and Ananya about what had happened. She did not know how to ask him and kept looking down and thought the best would be to be silent and to clarify with Muskaan when she returns.

Billy: Acha Riddhima tum mujhe ek cup coffee la sakti ho. Who Ananya jab tak puja nahi karti mujhe coffee nahi milegi, ab jab tum ho toh tum hi lado pls.

Ridz: ji uncle mein abhi layi.

Billy: phir uncle?

Ridz: She just smiled a little and said ji papa and went into the kitchen to bring the coffee.

While she was adding boiling the milk Ananya entered in the kitchen and saw her there. Riddhima turned to Ananya and gave a nervous smile. Ananya ignored her and went to make coffee for billy and herself. Riddhima felt dejected with her cold behaviour as she had behaved very well during the wedding and all. Then she thought may be she was still angry and thought of making a conversation.

Ridz: Maa mein kuch help karu?

Ananya: No thanks. Ab tak jo kiya hai vo bahut hai and don't call me maa. Saying this she took 2 coffee mugs and went out leaving a coffee mug on the counter for Riddhima.
