Chapter 3

Ashlesha and Preeti reached downstairs just before Avantika decided to go back to class. When they reached downstairs Avi asked them: "There you both are. Where were you both?"

Ash: "Uh...um... One of the teachers had stopped us aur phir Riya ne pucha ki tum kaha ho. Hume pata tha ki tum kuch der akela rehna chahti hongi."

Preeti: "Yes. That's why we threw her off track."

Avi: "Okay. Now come on. Lunch is about to be finished." They sit at their usual spot and Ash asks Avi: "So, tum End of Year party mein aa rahi ho na?"

Preeti: "Ofcourse. Yeh bhi koi pooch ne ki baat hai? Use toh aana hi hain. After all, usi ne toh party plan ki hai!"

Avi: "Guys. I'm not coming. I don't feel good."

Preeti (totally freaking out): "Kya? Kya matlab ki tum nahi aa rahi ho? Tumhe aana hi padega."

Ash: "Look. Hum jaante hain ki tum Armaan ki wajah se nahi aa rahi ho. Pls. come for us."

Preeti: "Yeah. Pls. don't let Armaan come in between our friendship. If we're your bestest friends than you'll come with us. She points her finger at Avi. "Or else..." She pauses for a second to think and continues: "Or else I won't talk to you. Think about it, you'll loose your two best friends!"

Avi: "2?"

Preeti: "Yes. One; me, because I won't talk to you. And two; Armaan, because you won't talk to him."

Avi smiled and said: "You always make me choose between a thing and our friendship. Don't you?"

Preeti: "Yeah! Because I know, you'll never choose anything over our friendship. So does that mean you are coming?"

Avi: "What do you think?"

Ash: "I think she'll come." Avi makes a sound of a buzzer ringing and says: "Right answer." Then they all laughed...

While on the other side, Neev was thinking hard on how to tell Armaan. he finally decides to go with Ashlesha's plan and writes it down on a piece of paper. He than goes in search of Armaan so he can tell him what he's forgetting. He finds Armaan sitting in the corner of the class with a sad face on.

Neev: "Hey buddy. What's up?"

Armaan: "Nothing man."

Neev: "Hmmmm....... thinking why Avi is not talking to you??"

Armaan turns his face towards him and said: "How do you know?"

Neev: "Do you think I am a fool or what? I know you since we were kids. Whenever Avi gets mad at you or doesn't talk to you, you roam around with a sad face."

Armaan: "If you can't help me than atleast don't bother me."

Neev: "I did come to help you. But..." and starts turning around just than Armaan stops him.

Armaan: "What man... You are so touchy..." Neev still doesn't look at him. Armaan continues: "Okay... I am sorry... Now please tell me."

Neev still doesn't look at him so Armaan says: "Um... if you tell me than.... whatever you want I will give it to you."

Neev (sarcastically): "Okay, okay. You don't have to exaggerate so much." He than takes out a piece of paper from his back pocket and says while handing it to Armaan: "Here. Maybe this could be of some help."

Armaan: "What is this?"

Neev: "I can't tell you. That is why I wrote it down on a piece of paper."

Armaan: "What?" totally confused.

Neev: "Just open it."

Armaan: "Okay." And he opens the note. After reading the note his expression changed. His eyes got big and he starts talking to himself and starts cursing himself. "How can I forget this? I m such an idiot. Today's a very important day for her." And other things.

Neev finally stops him by saying: "Stop!!!!!!!!!" After Armaan stops talking, Neev continues: "I know that you are stupid and dumb. Now's not the time to think of how stupid and dumb you are. Just think of what you are going to do now."

Armaan: "You're right." He puts on his thinking face and says, "I have a plan. Let's go."

Few minutes later, the bell rings and everybody rushes to get to their classes in time. Avi,

Ash and Pri start going upstairs too. While going upstairs Avi says to Ash and Pri: "I don't know why, but I think something biiiiiiigggggg is going to happen today."

Pri: "Like what?"

Avi: "Pataa nahi. It's a strange feeling."

Ash: "Don't worry. Aaj tumhare birthday hai. Kuch bhi galat nahi ho sakta."

Avi: "You are probably right. Let's forget it." And they were already upstairs. When they were entering their class they heard someone call their names. They turned around to see that Mrs. Neelam (She is principal's assistant, but helps all the teachers in need. you can call her the peon. but does more work then what a peon does. she tries to help ll the people in need. everyone who's in need or is injured or anyting. if u need any information, she 's the person to contact. she knows all tiny details of what is going on in the school.) was calling them. They walk towards her and ask: "Did you need us?"

Mrs. Neelam: "Yes. Actually Mr. Singh is calling all three of you."

Ash: "Now?"

Mrs. Neelam: "Yes. I've been looking for you all for quite a long time now."

Pri: "Okay." And all three of them start walking towards the main office. To reach the Mr. Singh's office you have to go through the main office since it is inside. When they reached the office Avi knocked on the door and a person from inside replied: "Come in." Avi, Ash and Pri were scared and
looked at each other. Avi opened the door and they all went inside.

Precap: Now, who is this Mr. Singh? Why are they all sacred? Will Armaan finally convince Avi. Will Avi
forgive him?

Chapter 4

Now, we see a name label on the desk which says "Mr. Singh". The room color is yellow. There are trophies placed all over the room, lots and lots of school certificates. I hope now you all have figured out who Mr. Singh is. If you haven't, then let me tell you, he is the principle of the school.

He is very strict but can be the nicest principle at some times. He is very nice but has to act strict in front of the students so they take him seriously. Avi and her group had never been called in his office before. If the principal needed them, then he will go talk to them by himself. He had never called them in his office before. And they were only called when there was a problem in school or they had won a trophy. Or when Armaan and Neev had played a prank and he didn't like it or anything like that. But as far as we know, Armaan or Neev hadn't done anything yet. Oh wait, is this what Armaan had meant when he said "I have a plan"? Is Mr. Singh helping Armaan???


Mr. Singh: "Oh. Hello Avi, Ash and Pri. He says it in a tone that scares them all more. They all gulp and look down. They are very scared. (Continuing): "Arre. Tum log dark yon rahe ho? Mein tumhe kha nahi jaonga." He looks at Avi and says: "I remember that today's your birthday Avi. Many Many Happy Birthday Of the day!!!" They give a relaxing sigh.

Preeti: "Phew. Sirf happy birthday bolne ke liye bulaya tha. Hum toh khama kha dar rahe the."

Avi gives a look to Preeti that says: "Be quiet" and than smiles and looks at Mr. Singh. "Thank you sir. So, now we can go right?"

Mr. Singh: "Oh no. Not yet. I have called you five to tell something really important."

Avi: "Five?"

Ash: "But sir, we're only three." Just then they heard a knock on the door. Everybody turned their heads towards the door to see who it is and they see Armaan and Neev come in.

Armaan: "You called us sir?"

Mr. Singh: "Yes. Pls. come in." They both walk in and Neev comes and stands next to Ash. And Armaan goes and stands beside Avantika. Ash whispers to Neev so that no one else can hear: "Did you tell him? "

Neev: "Yes. And he has a plan to solve his mistake."

Ash: "He better do!" and turns to Pri and gives her the thumb up sign. Knowing what Ash meant she smiles and looks in front after Ash returns her smile.

Mr. Singh (continues): "So. You see there are five not three."

Avi: "Yes sir."

Armaan whispers to Avi: "Avi..." But she doesn't listen to him and gives him the look saying shut up. Armaan still doesn't give up and even though Avi told him not to talk and listen he still pulls her hand and when Avi looks at him angrily he says: "Tum mujhse baat kyoun nahi kar rahi ho?"


Avi: "Tumhe kya fark padta hain ki mein tumse baat karu ya na karu. Aur jab tak tumhe yaad na aa jaye, mujhse baat karne ki koshish mat karna." And then looks at Mr. Singh who was saying:

Mr. Singh: "So, there's a camp in Goa and groups of five from school all over India are coming there to compete. I want you five to go there and represent Convent (their school's name). It's educational and fun things to do. It challenges you in all types of way and sees which school has the
best talent. You all have to compete in sports, dancing, writing, singing, painting and other fun things. Avantika and Armaan are champs from our school for sports. Preeti, you're an amazing dancer.
For writing, Neev you're the one. And Ash you can sing really good. All of you are great in these things. Your group has all kind of talent. The type they are looking for. So I have chosen you five to go there and participate in the things you are awesome in."

Ash: "That's really nice sir. But our parents'"

Mr. Singh: "Don't worry about that. I've already talked to your parents. And Armaan's mom will be coming with you guys." He says handing him the brochure of the place they'll be staying at: "Here. Look through this. I'm sure you'll love this place. The trip's on April 19th. You'll be staying
there for a week and if you guys do good from my opinion, then you guys can stay there for two more weeks. My gift to you all." And he smiles at them. They smile back and say "Okay sir."

Mr. Singh: "And remember, do your best, have fun and make me proud. Do whatever you do with your heart and you will succeed. Remember that."

They all reply together: "We will sir!"

Mr. Singh: "All right then. You guys should head for your classes."

They all nod and leave. When they reach the main office, Ms. Neelam calls Avi and says to the rest of them: "You all can leave. I have to talk to her." After they all leave Ms. Neelam says: "I think this is for you." Handing her a bouquet of yellow and pink roses.
