PART 23

Gunjna was too shocked and bewildered to say or do a thing. However listening those words from Samrat made her realize that the feelings she had for Samrat was indeed her love for him. She loved him too. Her jealousy from Ria, her nervousness whenever Samrat was around and the way her heart warmed whenever he was around all were symptoms of her love for Samrat.

She was about to answer when her phone rang.

Samrat took her mobile out of her hand and threw it on the back seat.

Gunjan: " Samrat!"

Samrat: " pehle you will answer me…"

Gunjan: " what… kya answer??"

Samrat: " do you want me to repeat all that?"

The mischievious glow in Samrat eyes told her he was referring to the kiss . She felt herself going red which left Samrat grining.

Gunjan: " yes… I mean no.. Sam I want to go home please…"

Samrat : " not until you tell me you wont marry that idiot Rahul."

This was so unexpected for Gunjan that inspite of the awkward moment she burst out laughing.

Gunjan: " what? Mr. Sam I guess you need to consult with a dimag ka docter too! Me and Rahul? You have seriously lost it."

Samrat : " kya matlab? I mean aunty ne kal bataya you are getting married to Rahul."

Gunjan: " kya? Hello! Sam mein tmen bata rahe hoon na aisa kuch nahe hua!"

Samrat: " to phir aunty.."
And then it all dawned on him. Mrs. Sharma's odd attitude, her grins, everything. It was all a plan so that he could recognize his love.

Gunjan: " Sam?"
Samrat: " it doesn't matter now."

Gunjan: " good.. so can we go home?"
Samrat: " you haven't answered yet…"

Gunjan: " please na Sam…"

Samrat: " please na Gunjan.."

Gunjan: " Samrat!"

Samrat: " Gunjan!"

Gunjan face portrayed an expression of helplessness which made her look even more cute for Samrat.

He placed her hand in his and repeated his words..

"I love you…"

Gunjan felt like a traaped person. She loved him too but was afraid. She didn't know Samrat so well. Moreover she knew they both were completely opposite. She was a friendly, happy-go-lucky sort of a person but Samrat was a rich, proud man.

Samrat saw the confusion in Gunjan's eyes.

Samrat: " Gunjan…"

Gunjan looked up at the love she felt in Samrat's voice.

Samrat kissed her hand, " I love you Gunjan. I will always love you…."

There was so much truth in Samrat's words that Gunjan was amazed.

Samrat: " I want to make you mine forever Gunjan… I want to wake up every morning knowing you are mine… I want to give you all the happiness in this world…I want to make you smile as for me all I need to smile is , look at you… you are my dream and I want it to come true…I love you… I want to have you beside me always…

Will you marry me?"

Gunjan had tears in her eyes. she sill had fears but for once in her life she wanted to let her heart run free of all fears and do what it wanted to do… trust in the words Samrat was speaking…..

Gunjan: " Yes … I will marry you… because I love you too…"

The smile on Samrat face made her believe in her decision… made her believe that Samrat indeed loved her… the smile made her realize that it was worth letting go of all her fears….it let her know that he will never leave her…

Nupur and Kinza were both waiting for Gunjan at the front door. They were so excited to know what had happened. Even Mayank and Mrs. Sharma were eagerly waiting and had called thrice in the past ten minutes.

Kinza: " dii! Ye Gunjan kahan reh gaye?"

Nupur was about to answer when she saw Gunjan enter with a dreamy look on her face.

Nupur: " Gunjan!"

They both ran towards her.

Gunjan: " kya ho gaya tum dono ko?"

Nupur: " hmen to kuch nahe hua but lagta hai logon ke sath kafe kuch hua.. kyun Kinza?'

Kinza: " bilkul dii! Tabhe to dekhe kuch log kitna muskura rahe hain."

Gunjan: " tum log bhe na! Ye pakro Nupur apna gift , mein ander ja rahe hoon."

Nupur: " ander kahan chale madam?"

Gunjan: " Nupur tmare tabiat to theekh hai na?"

Kinza: " bhai mujhse ye suspense bardasht naeh hota..( Kinza ignored the glare from Nupur and said) " kya kaha Samrat ne?"
Gunjan looked at Kinza in confusion and bewilderment.

Gunjan: " what do you mean Kinza?"
Nupur: " array kuch nahe… Kinza to youn he lage hue hai…"

Gunjan: " Nupur how about you cut the crap and tell me what has been happening behind my back? More importantly where the hell did that Rahul come from?"

BY THE NEXT DAY ALL THANKS TO MRS. SHARMA EVERYTHING WAS DECIDED BETWEEN SAMRAT'S AND GUNJAN'S PARENTS AND IT WAS DECIDED THAT BOTH THE COUPLES WITH GET MARRIED ON THE SAME DAY.

Nupur and Gunjan were busy talking about the wedding cloths when Kinza entered. They both failed to notice what was wrong and so continued talking until Kinza coughed and said:

" ab to mere best friend aur dii ko mera khayal beh nahe aata.."

Nupur and Gunjan passed a grin to each other before moving over to where Kinza was seated.

Nupur: " kyun kya ho gaya Kinzu?"

Gunjan: " han kya hua kinzu?"

Kinza: " kese ko khayal bhe hai ke tum dono ke shadi hai is week.."

Gunjan: " bilkul hai.. Shilpa aunty makes sure that we never dare forget that.."

Gunjan and Nupur laughed.

Kinza: " dekha.. bs apna khayal hai.. ye nahe ke apne behan ke bare mein bhe soch len.."

Nupur: " array.. kya ho gaya kuch batao to sahe?"

Kinza: " kya zamana aa gaya hai.. mujhe khud batana parega?"
Gunjan: " acha choro… tm ye batao mera dress kiss colour ka hona chahiay?"

Gunjan passed Nupur a mischievous look as she knew now Kinza will tell them the problem by herself and that was exactly what happened.

Kinza: " dress? Gunjan tmen dress ke pare hai? Do you both have any idea that you both are getting married.. sirf mein reh gaye! Aur kese ko kahayal bhe nahe hai… dresses ke colour ke pare hue hai sb ko!"

Nupur: " awww… itne se baat..?"
Gunjan: " array Kinzu tum bhe na!"

Kinza: " han han tum to kaho gay he na.. tmare pass Sam jo hai aur dii apke pass bhe Mayank hai.. reh to mein gaye.."

Gunjan: " but tmare pass bhe to wo hai na.."

Kinza looked at Gunjan with raised eyebrows.

Kinza: " kaun?"

Gunjan ( tongue in cheek) : " array wohe.. kya nam hai uska?"

Nupur: " kis ke baat kr rahe ho Gunjan?"

Gunjan: " Nupur wo jo Kinzu ka classfellow tah na.."

Nupur: " kaunsa wala?"

Gunjan : " wo jo anchor hai.. jisko us din tv per dekha tha?"

Nupur and Kinza both knew whom Gunjan was talking about. Kinza felt her cheeks pink because she liked that class fellow a lot and ever since he became the anchor she had a serious crush on him.

Kinza: " acha bus theekh hai na! Nam yaad krne ke koi zaroorat nahe!"

Gunjan: " wese mujhe ab bhe wo dusra wala anchor better laga!"

Kinza: " Gunjan! Tmare choice uff! Mera class fellow us stupid anchor se to both behter hai!"

Gunjan and Nupur grinned at that and Kinza realized she was trapped. Finally she started laughing herself.
Kinza: " kahan mein tum logon ko tang karne aye the aur tum log ho ke.."

Gunjan mobile rang and she picked it up.

Gunjan: " hello!"

Her voice still had laughter in it.

Samrat: " someone seems to be in a good mood today… any chances of my getting lucky enough to steal a kiss tonight?"

Gunjan blushed and the grins on Nupur's and Kinza's face didn't help much.

Gunjan: " lagta hai koi Shilpa aunty ko bohat miss kar raha hai."

Samrat: " haha! point made Gunjan."

Gunjan: " hehe! Good.. errrmmm… anything important Sam?"

Samrat: " Shipa aunty and my mom are busy with your and Nupur's shopping while we poor men are driving them around different shops."

Gunjan: " Mayank bhe hai tmare sath?"

Samrat: " jee hai.."

Gunjan heard Mayank yell from behind.." Gunjan se na sahe mere wale se he baat krwa do Sam! Kese dost ho tum yar."

Gunjan laughed at that.

Samrat: " pata nahe Nupur kese guzara krege is admi ke sath! Do minute bhe chup nahe reh sakta!"

Gunjan: " excuse me? jb mein tmare sath guzara krloon ge to Mayank to bohat behter hai."

Mayank: " yai baat! Mujhe pata tha Gunajn aik tum, he ho mere apni.."

Samrat: " sorry bro but Gunjan ab sirf mere hai."

Gunjan blush deepened.

Kinza had had too much. she snatch mobile from Gunjan.

Kinza: " Samrat jiju ye bad manners hain…"

Samrat: " had hai.. yahan Mayank aur wahan mere apni , khud ke Sali Kinza!"

This made Kinza giggle.

Kinza: " acha ab aise bhe koi baat nahe! Kar len app apni Gunjan se baat! Meine kb roka hai?"

MayanK: " koi mere princess ke bhe baat krwade mujhese!"

Samrat: " ye lo tum baat krlo mere khair hai!"

Mayank: " aur nahe to kya! Tmare mom mere mom ke tarhan ke thori hain."

" kya kaha tmne MayanK?"

the mobile slipped from Mayank's hand as he turned around to see his mom entering the car.

Mayank: " kuch nahe mom. Meine kya kehna hai?"

Mrs. Sharma: " ye ajkal ke bachay bhe na.. aata jata kuch hai nahe… hum dosri shop mein ja kr aate hain…"

As soon as Mrs. Sharma left Samrat laughed and was joined buy Kinza and Gunjan from the other side of the phone.

Mayank: " mere to kismat he kharab hai.."
Nupur: " aise nahe kehte Myaank… you know mom love you."

Mayank: " chalo atleast finally I get to talk to my princess.. I missed you so much!"

This was Nupur's turn to blush while Kinza pointed out. " strange Mayank jiju abhe do ghante pehle to apne call ke the dii ko!"

Mayank: " Kinza sach batana tmara mere mom ke sath kya rishta hai?"

Kinza: (giggling) "hehe! Point made jiju!"

MayanK: "haha!"

Samrat: " anuty is back Mayank."
Mayanak groaned. " pata nahe mera kya banega! Nupur! my princess .. I love you! ye zalim samaj..'
Mrs. Sharma: " lo dasso! Ab kya ho gaya tujhe Maayank?"

The three girls giggled while Samrat chuckled and Mayank disconnected the phone.
