Outside Pia's hostel Abhay parked his car. The whole journey back Pia was silent refusing to say a word till they reached home. She was freaking him out with her shutting herself from him. it was almost like Pia was distancing herself from him on purpose. Something was niggling at her and he wanted in on her woes. For starters she scared the s**t out of him when she'd jumped out of the balcony. Pia wasn't even in the cabin long and already there were some teething problems. He slammed the car door shut behind him moving over to Pia's side to help her out. Pia still hadn't mentioned anything to him. why was she being so secretive all of a sudden?

Abhay slammed Pia's door shut after she'd got out-So are U going to tell me what all the commotion was back there or am i going to have to forcefully extract the information out of U?

Pia couldn't blurt the whole truth out yet. But she didn't want Abhay to know anything about Sid yet. Not until they were all together-Abhay i was just messing to see if you'd save me from myself. I was testing out a theory. So far you've saved me from dangers around me but would this include dangers from myself?

Abhay knew Pia was lying. He grabbed hold of Pia by the arm-I don't buy it Pia. Fess up now. I saw the fear in your eyes and its not because U were playing with me. What was it U saw? Or shall i say whom?

Pia didn't know what to say. Abhay read Pia like a book-Abhay, U might want to go home and have it out with your parents.

Abhay knew Pia was stalling-Pia!

Pia squirmed trying to get away from Abhay-Will U loosen your grip on me already Abhay? My arms sore enough already.

Abhay kept his grip firmly on Pia-Why? So U can run off in there with a crowd full of people. I know U Pia. As soon as i let go of U i won't get the answers i seek.

Pia gravely answered-It's your brother Abhay. He's back! Sid's back. There i've said it now.

Abhay's mood darkened at the mention of Sid's name. He let go if Pia. Abhay's voice was filled with concern-Did he hurt U Pia? (Abhay noticed Pia was hesitating then raised his voice emoting back to Pia with his eyes burning a hole in Pia's eyes) What did he do to U Pia?

Pia whispered under her breath-He didn't do anything to me Abhay. I jumped before he could do anything.

Abhay could feel his temper rise-I want the full truth Pia! U do realize i can get the truth out by a simple.....(Pia covered Abhay's lips with her hands.)

Pia closed her eyes-He wants to kill me. Now will U let go of me.

Abhay couldn't believe Pia was reacting as if this were normal-This doesn't scare U Pia? Sid is crazy in the head. He threatens to kill U and U keep this from me. How could U? I'll kill him. I can't believe the psycho's back. He knows you're not Maithali doesn't he?

Pia nodded-Abhay i don't care if he want to kill me. What's new anyway? I've faced death remember.

Abhay groaned at Pia's blatant attempt to sweep this under the rug-Pia, Sid's not Maithali. She never wanted to hurt U but he does. All he wants is her. he knows she's back and he wants her. It means he knows you're my weakness Pia. He won't stop till he kills U. I got to get him before he gets U.

Pia headed to the hostel-Can we forget about Sid for now? I want to enjoy this moment.

Abhay moaned-Enjoy Sid being back?

Pia gave a meek smile-No stupid. We'll deal with him together. U said we have people to greet right. So lets just grin and bear this out. Forget Sid Abhay and just be my brooding Abhay.

They entered the hostel pretending to be surprised by the groups surprise party. Tara gave Abhay her mind link reading his mood she knew Abhay was aware of Sid's arrival. They exchanged a grave look. Kabir hugged Pia and then nodded towards Abhay. Kabir felt it was best to keep his distance from Pia and Abhay. He didn't want to feel any negativity towards them but be happy for them it was all he could do at this stage. Rosa saw the glow on Pia and knew Pia and Abhay were on the road to recovery. Misha and Panchi moved past Tracker and Angad to get to Pia. They couldn't help but hug Pia.

Misha nudged Pia playfully-So what kind of naughty antics did U and Abhay get to?

Pia blushed scarlet and scolded Misha-Oh Misha U are too much!

Misha let out a lazy grin moving her eyebrows up and down making funny faces at Pia-Oh come on Pia give us some juicy gossip. I want to know everything.

Pia pulled her tongue out at Misha grinning mischievously-U aren't getting any gossip from me. Try to see what U can extract out of Abhay.

Misha moaned-Getting information out of Abhay is like getting blood out of a stone. You're no fun Pia.

Pia kissed Misha's cheek-I know Misha. I'm all out of fun. I'm feeling very hungry though.

Panchi whispered in Pia's ear-What's the matter with Abhay? Did U two get into a fight?

Pia looked back-No he's just his usual self. So what's happened here while i was away?

Misha spilled-Tara's ex came. She gave him a good hiding.

Pia lost her smile-I'd better go see her. I need to get changed. Not feeling comfortable in this outfit with all U guys here. I can't believe U and Tara did this.

Misha gave a sly grin-Your romantic status has improved thanks to my meddling with Tara so U should be thankful. So quit complaining. I know U had a good time. Your face Pia is so pink.

Pia rolled her eyes at Misha-U behave yourself missy. I got your number.

Misha batted her innocently look at Pia-Who me? I'm always on my best behaviour.

Pia glanced towards Tara. She sympathized with her-Poor Tara. I wish i'd have given the rat an earful myself.

Panchi hinted-They're over there.

Misha noticed Pia's legs were a little bruised-Pia U sure are a mjor klutz. Banged into a table or the door?

Pia softly replied-U know me. I have to get out of this. See U in three.

Pia headed to her room quickly getting into her long white dress and a white top. She applied a fresh coating of lip gloss and brushed her hair. Pia came hot pulling her top down her waist and walked in Abhay and Tara's direction.

Abhay with Tara-So Alexis got what he deserved i take it. I can smell his blood.

Tara whispered so only Abhay could hear her-Yeah. We're finished. He will do me one favour. He owes me big. He'll make sure there's damage limitation from Sid's side. He'll try to protect Pia from him.

Abhay's eyes darken-At least we have him on board. I can't believe he's back.

Tara replied weakly-I tried to keep him away from U but he read Misha's mind. I'm sorry i was trying to protect U both and let U have two days free from all this chaos. Our life is so abnormal with all this supernatural aspect that i thought i'd spare U from this.

Abhay embraced his dear friend-I know Tara. In a way i'm grateful. Pia needed this break.

Tara teased playfully-I can tell. You've got the glow back Abhay. Pia's still living in cloud nine. It's so obvious. Don't worry i won't give U a ribbing. We have Sid to deal with.

Abhay spotted Pia coming over. He extended his arms to hold her against her waist. Kissing her gently around her neck-How are U feeling?

Pia truthfully answered-Hungry. I heard about Alexis. I'm sorry we weren't here.

Tara expressed bluntly-I'm not. I got a chance to get as even as i could with the sucker. Anyway he's on our side for now. Pia U go eat. Abhay make sure she's been fed. She looks like she needs it. Haven't U been feeding the poor thing or have U been bleeding her dry. I'm telling U these men are useless.

Pia defended Abhay-No its me. I'm constantly feeling so hungry. I can't stop eating since i got back. Must be all the excitement. I'll go grab some snacks.

Abhay let go her and turned his attention back to Tara-Pia's been trying to cover up Sid's indiscretion. I can't believe she feels like she needs to protect me. When it should really be the other way round right?

Tara chipped in her 50 cents whispering gently-She knows Sid quite well Abhay. Maybe not on a personal level but on a spiritual level thanks to Maithali's psyche. Pia did right getting U out of there. U aren't as strong as Sid is and you're not prone to killing people like Sid is so Pia would have been on the casualty list Abhay. She's just being Pia.

Abhay scoffed bitterly-Self sacrificial as always. I don't want her risking herself for me. She's only human.

Tara nodded-I don't think she could hack it to see her boyfriend in a deadly battle against his brother in the biblical sense. She's been through a lot Abhay. Would U have put her through this nightmare. U boys don't know when to quit anyway.

Abhay sighed gritting his teeth-I know. It's the thought of him harming her. Its really bugging me. We both know what he can do. He won't stop till he gets her.

Tara deliberated on a solution-Unless we help him get what he wants.

Abhay shook his head in slow motion-Give him Maithali. No way.

Tara wasn't sure what she meant-He won't stop. He's searching for Maithali. He loves her. So let him have her.

Abhay complained-But she doesn't love him back. She's still in love.....

Tara could tell Abhay was torn-I know Abhay. I also know the feelings mutual with U loving her back. Its not easy to forget your first love is it? But U also love Pia and she's your priority. Maithali can handle Sid. Pia can't.

Abhay zoned out-What makes U think he won't harm Pia despite getting what he wants?

Tara hit a road block-Faith? We'll sort this out later.

Abhay nodded watching Pia headed right back to Misha with a tay full of sandwiches and somosa's. He was uncertain about what the future held for Pia. She was so delicate and in his world it was dangerous. She'd be crushed by Sid's attack. He took no prisoners. How was he going to protect her from this monster. His own brother would kill him in a heartbeat if it hadn't been for Sid's unpredictable nature.

Misha invited Pia over for a get together-Dad wants all my firends there. All of a sudden he's taking an interest in my friends. I don't know why but i need U there.

Pia smiled at Misha's sulky face-Don't worry Misha. He won't embarrass U. I think its sweet he wants to be in your life.

Misha moaned-Its not cool. Parents and kids should maintain a healthy distance from their friends. It's always been like this. I don't know why hes gone all sentimental on us.

Panchi joked-He's probably trying to relive his younger days. They say sometimes men in their forties hit their mid life crisis. I think Dad's hit his.

Misha creased her forehead-No Birdie. Dad's so happy with his life why would he be??

Pia interjected-I'll be there. I need a distraction anyway from studies.

Panchi waved Pia with her hands-U can't take your eyes off of Abhay Pia. You've had him for two days now let us enjoy your company.

Misha joked-Pia's still in the honeymoon faze.

Pia shot Misha her stern look-Don't start teasing me Misha.

Misha laughed-Or you'll what? Stare me to death. It's so cute.

Panchi quizzed-So are U both serious? U know boyfriend and girlfriend or is this just the pilot stage?

Pia shyly answered-We are serious about each other. That's all i can say.

Misha teased-How serious?

Pia playfully slapped Misha's arm-U are very irritating.

Kabir hollered by-Is Misha still moaning about her Dad? At least yours wants some time with U my father's so engrossed with business. I'm starting to feel neglected yaar.

Panchi pinched Kabir's cheeks-Awe poor Kabir. Well U are like a son to Dad. Feel free to take him away from us anytime U want?

Kabir joked-I don't know about your Mom though. She's quite a demanding lady.

Panchi's face grew serious-Tell me about it. She's always on my case. Wear this, wear that, Look after your body its a temple and etcetera. I feel like i'm with a fitness guru.

Misha laughed-U should see the faces she makes she makes me look like i'm older than her. So immature dude.

Panchi imitates Misha-Immature dude ki bachi. U should see what she does when Mom makes her dress like a girl.

Kabir stepped in between the girls-I think i'm happy to be an only child now. U girls would make any person go insane. I don't know how U can handle being around Misha and Panchi all day?

Pia giggled-With a lot of hard work. So are U coming Kabir?

Kabir drank his coke-I've got nothing better to do. Angad's pathetic little romance with Tracker's made me feel sick. I can't bear to be around him and his cute cooing noises he makes. Misha this is a good turnout dude. The party is totally buzzing. U missed your calling as a party planner.

Misha beamed with pride-I know dude. It's not too late. I might think about this as a career option. Mishi's planners. Got a good ring to it huh?

Kabir wasn't so sure on the name-Maybe U should sleep on the name? It's not very catchy. The food's the highlight.

Panchi chips in-Its our chef from home. She made all the party food. We just kept it warm.

Pia smiled- Its good to see U smile Kabir.

Kabir felt the same-Its good to see U happy Pia.

Pia hugged Kabir holding his yes with hers-We are still friends right?

Kabir nodded-U can't get rid of me this easily Pia. I know i've been a bit of a p***k in the past but our friendship is important to me. I know i messed up before by getting my emotions in the way and spoiling what we had. I'm sorry Pia. I really am very sorry for all the hurt i caused U. I know now the value of friendship now. So friends for life Pia.

Pia chimed the same back feeling emotional-Friends for life (She let out tears of joy)

Kabir's face dropped-I didn't mean for U to get upset.

Pia corrected Kabir-These are tears of relief and joy Kabir. I really thought i lost U as a friend. It's the one thing i hold very dear to me.

Kabir gave a bear hug to Pia.

Misha buzzed-Group hug.

Abhay came around feeling very depressed. He felt bittersweet mix of emotion. He was pleased Pia's friendship was on the mend with Kabir. But at the same time he felt a dark cloud hang over him thanks to someone he'd rather not name in his head. He clenched his fists at the thought of him.

Pia smiled looking over Kabir's shoulder to see Abhay. Pia excused herself away from Kabir to Abhay. She clung on Abhay giving him a kiss-We've sorted our differences.

Abhay brushed his hands on Pia's cheeks taking in her sweet scent. She always managed to pull him out of his dark moods-I know. I heard everything.

Pia blushed-Are U coming? To the Dobrial's?

Abhay nodded-I'll go wherever U go. U want to dance. It is after all a party.

Pia grinned back cheerfully-I thought you'd never ask.

Abhay answered Pia's unasked question whispering in her ear-We are past serious Pia. U are more than a girlfriend.

Pia clung to Abhay's touch swaying to the music in the background drowning out the people around them.

that was lovely update..all friends together n teasing each other..hope we r to get more emotional n violent parts after this so u gave us this to lighten up our mood..is there something serious abt pia's eating habit?that is she feeling hungry..r u taking taking it like bella's hunger after they consummated their marriage in breaking dawn..dont make that too soon as they have plenty of other things to worry about..let them(abhay-pia) be happy for a while being together..feeling loved n living their life..continue soon aysha..
