i know it is moving kinda slow
but its more about bringing SR together and helping Shilpa move ahead as well
the dmg ending i wished for She was parked right outside of Sid's house. She doesn't know why she came here as she had no intentions of going to see Sid, but she doesn't question it for very long and decides to go to the Modi's penthouse.
As she is travelling in the elevator, twice she reaches for the elevator button to go back down but she doesn't press it. She gets very nervous as she doesn't know how to act or what to expect from Sid, but she just needed to share his pain. She slowly walks to the Modi penthouse and knocks very softly.
The door opens to reveal Sid, and to her surprise it doesn't look like he had been crying. Sid ushers her into his home and sits her down on his sofa before running into the kitchen to get her tea. As Sid was in the kitchen, Shilpa scans the room and surprisingly she didn't find a single picture of Riddhima. She watched as Sid made tea and to her astonishment not a single sign of trauma appeared in his behavior. Something in his face had changed, his expression seemed a bit more stern but his eyes maintained the same softness as before. Sid returned to Shilpa and handed her the tea before sitting down in front of her on the coffee table. Sid smiled a genuine smile, it wasn't exactly a smile that portrayed happiness but rather one that offered comfort to her. Shilpa couldn't help but return the smile as she finally realized the reason she had been pulled to Sid's house. The relationship she shared with Sid wasn't only of a jiju, but rather a true friend. Sid was the friend that would always be there to support her, the one that would shower her with comfort in her time of trauma. He was one of the few people in her life who she could truly call an angel and most of all he was strong and his strength gave her courage.
"Hi jiju"-Shilpa softly smiling as she took a sip of the delicious tea. She realized that she had been freezing and that the tea offered her body comfort and warmth, so she took another large gulp.
Sid smiled as some of the faded color returned to Shilpa's face.
"I am no longer your jiju"-Sid with a slight sadness in his voice.
"Come on, jiju. Even you know that Riddhima di is going to come running back to you. I know you do and that's the only reason you let her go"-Shilpa with a lighter tone as she realized at that moment that Sid's must know that Riddhima would come back to him. Otherwise he wouldn't have let her go that easily, and this thought offered her reassurance.
This time Sid smiled a mischief smile as he even realized that Shilpa was aware of the truth, even if her dement roommate wasn't. He just nodded in response as he still didn't want to give away his intentions of why he let Armaan supposedly win.
"Right, toh tum yahan?"-Sid trying to change the subject.
At this Shilpa grew silent for a moment as she didn't know how to explain her coming here, so she took another sip of the tea to buy more time.
"Woh, jiju Armaan…"-Shilpa lowering her eyes as she didn't want him to see the sadness in her eyes.
"I know"-Sid whispered. He gave Shilpa a moment to establish control over her emotions as he knew how badly she was hurt. He finally lifted her face by place his finger underneath her face and forced her to look at him. He smiled lightly to indicate he understood her pain and where she was coming from.
"I know, Shilpa. But you know what…just like I know that Riddhima will come back to me, I know that one day Armaan will regret letting you go. I know you are hurting right now, and I can't stop that because it's a part of life. But know this Shona, ki I will always be there to get you through your pain."-Sid in a whisper as he cradles his saali while she let out the emotions that were trapped within.
Once Shilpa had stopped crying she smiled at her jiju and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you"-Shilpa smiled as he her eyes still glittered with water. Sid once again resumed his spot on the coffee table and smiled softly as Shilpa.
"Shilpa main eek baat kahoon, tum bura toh nahi mano gi?"-Sid asked innocently. Shilpa laughed as she shook her head.
"Shilpa, maybe… I know you are in a lot of pain right now and you seem to think that your life is nothing but pain. I see you walking in the hospital while carrying only that sadness in your eyes, the way you look past the joy the kids bring with them and always find yourself lost in that grief. But Shilpa tumhari zindagi mein sirf Armaan nahi hai, tumhari zindagi mein tumhare aur bhi apne hai jo tumhe kushi dena chahate hain. You life is full of people that love you and can bring you happiness. You just have to let them in. I am not saying that you will completely forget the pain, but it is still possible to experience joy and life while you are going through a heartbreak"-Sid trying desperately to make Shilpa realize that she can be happy, even in the darkest of times. Shilpa nods in agreement as she takes in every word that Sid says and she wonders whether there is any truth to his words. She promises herself to allow herself to at least try tomorrow to follow her jiju advice.
"Jiju, have you eaten"-Shilpa as she realizes that Riddhima isn't here anymore to make dinner. Sid laughs at Shilpa's short attention span.
"Yes, I had take out, but have you eaten?"-Sid taking note of how late it was.
"No, but then I was suppose to go home for dinner. Riddhima di…"-Shilpa trails off as she realizes that it might have been a mistake to take her name. Sid just smiles.
"Shona, it's okay to say her name, now that you know I know that she is going to come back. And I want you to take care of her, she is going to experience a lot of pain in the near future. I wish I could protect her from it, but I think right now she needs to go through this alone"-Sid saddened as he knew that the pain his love would soon have to go through.
"You know di is so lucky. Even though she has to go through this alone, she still isn't alone. Her angel is always by her side like her shadow, even if she can't see him. And jiju trust me that love I have seen in her eyes for you makes me realize that she never left you. She's just lost in her past but as soon as she realizes that she is no longer the Riddhima of her past, but rather Sid's Riddhima she will come running into your arms"-Shilpa now fully smiling for the first time in forever.
"Shilpa, I know Riddhima isn't the same Riddhima from the past. But do you think the changes in Riddhima that I caused were good for her? Was I good for her?"-Sid looking questioningly at Shilpa.
"Jiju Riddhima from the past wasn't even alive until you came into her life. You taught her how to put to experience life rather than spend it running after achievements, you taught her to build a relationship with her patients rather than just treat them. Before di only knew how to make a relationship, but you taught her to remain true to those relationships. If anything jiju, you are her life and it's about time she realized your importance."-Shilpa
Sid laughed as he turned slightly pink upon hearing Shilpa's words. Suddenly the call on the wall chimed with soft music to indicate it was midnight and Sid got up.
"It's late I will drop you home."-Sid looking around for his keys.
"No it's ok jiju, I have a car with me"-Shilpa getting up.
"Shona, don't call me jiju in front of Riddhima"-Sid getting nervous at the thought of Riddhima hearing Shilpa call him jiju.
Shila laughed as she said "I know, Ji-ju and how do you know to call me Shona?"-Shilpa forgetting that she hadn't mentioned her nickname to anyone at the hospital.
"Oh, I heard one of the little girls call you that, I don't know what it means but it kind of suit you"-Sid smiled as she dropped Shilpa off to her car.
Before Shilpa got into the car she hugged Sid tightly and whispered "Thanks jiju" before driving off to her home, where her sister awaited her.
Once Shilpa reached home she unlocked the door to find that the whole house was filled with darkness. It was as if no one home, so Shilpa quietly went upstairs to check whether Riddhima was asleep or not. To her surprise she found Riddhima by the window gazing at the moon. Even though Riddhima looked completely breathtaking with the moonlight glowing on her face, she seemed as if she was lifeless. Shilpa walked towards Riddhima quietly and as she did her eyes fell on Riddhima's phone that sat on her bed. Shilpa realized that the phone displayed Sid's picture and there was a droplet of tear on the screen. Shilpa stole a closer glance at the phone only to view 15 missed calls from the same number, Armaan's number. Shilpa hearts gave a little jumps as Shilpa knew that her sister was slowly realizing who her heart truly belonged to.
Shilpa gently tapped on Riddhima shoulder and as Riddhima turned to look at Shilpa, she saw her sister's eyes were red from crying. The thought of her sister crying gave even more comfort and a small smile fought to spread across Shilpa's face.
"Di, apne kuch kahya?"-Shilpa trying to fight the smile that was minutes away from spreading across her face. Riddhima shook her head.
"Maine bhi nahi, chalo fridge mein kuch khana hoga. Dono mil kar dinner karte hain"-Shipla took a hold her hand and dragged her downstairs.
Both of them were now sitting at the dinner table with their plates filled with food and Shilpa quickly started attacking the food as she was starving. Riddhima was about to take a bit but stopped midday and put her food back on the plate.
"Kya hua di?"-Shilpa looking at Riddhima questioningly.
"Woh…ummm.Sid ne khana…"-Riddhima
"Oh don't worry Sid ne dinner kar liya hai. I just talked to him"-Shilpa taking the spoon of food and feeding her sister before getting back to her own food. Riddhima chewed absent mindedly as her thoughts drifted to Sid. He never used to eat without me, or without making sure I ate then why today…
Riddhima realized that he was no longer bound to wait for her for dinner as their relationship had changed, and at this her eyes once again threatened to shed tears. Shilpa on the other hand grew even happier seeing the concern her sister had for Sid.
The next day Riddhima had woken up early as her duty started painfully early and she hated being late. Shilpa on the other hand woke up from a peaceful sleep, one she never thought she would enjoy for a very long time. She woke up with a smile playing on her face which was surprising as she was happy, even though her heart was still healing from Armaan's wounds. She stretched her arms and as they fell she realized they had hit something beneath Riddhima's pillow.
